South of France with AmaWaterways

| France (Rhine River) / Spain (Barcelona)
This ship is looking a little dated and could use some upgrades to the lounge furniture. However, this was the best crew I've ever had the privilege of sailing with...the customer service was top notch!

Rhine River Ama Cello

It was great...would definitely do it again!

Some excellent, some poor

I will never fly thru Heathrow again. No one met us at Amsterdam airport. Service desk at the airport was virtually impossible to find.

Wonderful Rhine cruise!

| Rhine River cruise - Basel, Switzerland to Amsterdam, Netherlands (7 days)
My wife and I (both in mid-fifties) thoroughly enjoy our cruise. It was our first river cruise. Smaller ship (compared to ocean cruises) created a much more "group" feel to the experience, yet still easy to have your own space when desired. Food was plentiful, convenient, diverse, and tasty. Very nice that wine and beer were included with lunch and dinner. We enjoyed using the ship's bicycles at a number of the cruise stops; they were quality bikes in good shape. The local excursions provided through AMA were all enjoyable, with quality guides. A favorite was "Ollie" who led a walking tour of Amsterdam that included a visit to a beer house, complete with beer, bread, and potato pancakes. While the Rhine has the look of a "grand canal" for a major portion of the cruise, it is still very entertaining to spend time on the upper deck and watch the world go by. The Rhine Gorge portion of the cruise, with 20+ castles to view, was spectacular! We will definitely consider using AMA for another cruise, maybe the Danube?!

Return to AMA Does Not Disappoint

| Soane/Rhone River North to South
This was our second cruise with Ama Waterways in Europe. After a wonderful first experience, we were pleasantly treated to an equally excellent experience on the AmaCello. The ship was comfortable, quiet, clean, and in excellent condition in all areas. The staff was professional and first class in all of their services and interactions. We would recommend Ama to anyone interested in a wonderful travel experience.

Rhine River Cruise

| Zurich, Lucerne, Basel, Breisach, Strasbourgh, Speyer, Rudesheim, Koblenz, Cologne, and Amsterdam
This was our first river cruise and we were very pleased with all aspects of it. The food and the service on the ship were outstanding. The hotels in Zurich and Lucerne were very nice and located in very convenient places. The time in the ports was usually plenty to go on the excursions and then still have plenty left over for shopping or eating at the local restaurants.

Great River Cruise

Even with about half capacity, the AmaWaterways Ama Cello did not disappoint. With an expert crew, our every little need was taken care of. The land excursions and tours were superb. Transfers from the airport were superb. Ama Waterways does everything right!
