FABULOUS

| Barcelona for three days, then down to the French coastline, up the Rhone River to Lyon, high speed into Paris and home
This was a Wine and Jazz cruise and we enjoyed it immensely. The Wine expert was entertaining, provided lots of nice wines to taste, and the jazz group was very good too. The nightly entertainment they provided was much better than you'll ever get on those big cruise ships. This is our second cruise with AMA and I will not go with anyone else now. We also did the pre and post cruise trips and that extended all the fun. Met very nice people. There are not activities like on a big boat - you can do anything at your own pace. They also had a gentle walking group, which I felt learned more than the groups that walked faster.. they may have covered more ground but I think we learned more about the area walking slow. You also got to share your experiences with other travelers easier.

30th anniversary trip

It would be helpful if I had more insight about possible inclement weather. Although I tracked the temperatures on line, it did not convey the impact of the mistral on comfort levels. I had enough warm clothes but many other passengers did not.
