  • Special Dietary Needs - Advance Notice Required - Princess is happy to meet your request for low-sodium, low-fat, low-sugar, and vegetarian diets. Guests may visit Cruise Personalizer? on the Princess website (https://book.princess.com/cruisepersonalizer/) to indicate dietary preferences.

In addition, kosher meals and baby food are available upon advance written request. Any other special diet requests must be authorized in advance by the Princess corporate office.

Guests or their travel agent must advise Princess, in writing, of any special diet, allergies, or medical needs. Requests must be received no later than 35 days prior to departure for cruises to Alaska, Canada/New England, Caribbean, Hawaii, Mexico, Panama Canal and Coastal Getaways. For all other cruises, requests must be received no later than 65 days prior to departure. Once onboard, please check with the Maitre D' to confirm the request.

  • Internet Access - Internet access is available on all Princess vessels through the 24-hour onboard internet caf? and wireless network, which is available in staterooms and various public areas.

Guests can use the state-of-the-art computer systems located in the internet caf? to access their web-based email accounts or to browse the internet. Guests may also use their own wireless-enabled laptops to access the internet through the onboard wireless network.

Guests may contact the Internet Caf? Manager onboard for information regarding the charges that apply to internet and wireless services, and any other specific requirements.

Please note that internet access via satellite is significantly slower than high-speed connections on shore. Princess reserves the right to filter content accessed via the ship's internet services. High bandwidth consuming applications - such as voice over IP telephony, peer-to-peer file sharing, and streaming media - may be restricted onboard Princess vessels.

  • Medical Emergencies - The shipboard medical centers are primarily intended to provide acute care for illness and accidents that may occur while on vacation and are not intended to provide long-term care for patients with chronic illnesses or as a substitute for regular health care.

The medical centers are intended to provide quality maritime medical care for guests and crew members aboard the ships; initiate appropriate stabilization, diagnostic and therapeutic maneuvers for critically ill or mentally unstable patients; support, comfort and care for patients onboard; and facilitate the timely medical evacuation of patients, if appropriate.

Charges for medical services will be added to guests' shipboard account. Guests will be provided with an itemized account to submit to their insurance company. Please note that Princess ships are registered in Bermuda. Guests should verify with their insurer if coverage applies outside the United States, or purchase appropriate travel insurance.

  • Pregnancy Policy - Pregnant women entering the 24th week of pregnancy by the last day of the cruise are not allowed to sail.

All pregnant women are required to produce a physician?s letter stating that mother and baby are in good health, fit to travel and the pregnancy is not high-risk. The letter must also include the estimated date of delivery (EDD) calculated from both Last Menstrual Period (LMP) and ultrasound (if performed).

It is strongly recommend that pregnant guests review their health insurance coverage before cruising. Many policies, including Medicare, will not pay for services or hospitalization outside of the country or for emergency evacuation.

Guests may want to consider Princess Vacation Protection, which is available for purchase up to the time of final payment of the cruise fare. If the guest did not secure Princess Vacation Protection, it is recommended that they secure other travel protection.

  • Smoking Policy - Keeping the comfort of guests a priority, Princess has implemented the following smoking policy:

    Designated Smoking Areas
Clearly marked "Designated Smoking Areas" are available onboard and include a sufficient number of ashtrays that are emptied regularly. Generally, these areas include cigar lounges, a section of the nightclub and casino, as well as a portion of the open decks. As a safety precaution, passengers are reminded to properly dispose of cigarettes, cigars and pipe tobacco, which are never to be thrown overboard as this may be sucked back into the ship and cause fires.

    Stateroom Smoking Policy
Smoking is prohibited in all passenger staterooms and on stateroom balconies. Violations to this policy will result in a $250 fine for each occurrence, which will be charged to the guest's stateroom account.

    Electronic Cigarettes
The use of electronic cigarettes is permitted in all areas onboard with the exception of dining areas and the Princess Theater. However, should a fellow guest in the vicinity feel inconvenienced and complain, even after being told the difference between electronic and real cigarettes, the guest will be asked to refrain from smoking the electronic cigarette.

  • Wheelchair Access & Special Needs - Princess makes every effort to accommodate guests with disabilities. Guests can ensure a successful trip by working with them in advance. Guests or their travel agents should notify Princess of wheelchair usage, special needs, and/or service animals before the voyage. Notices and requests must be made in writing and faxed to the Princess Access office at 661-284-4408 at least 30 days prior to sailing. For answers to any questions about the program, please call the Princess Access office at 661-284-4521.

All Princess ships have wheelchair-accessible staterooms, but it is highly recommended that guests bring collapsible wheelchairs, as the widths of the stateroom doors vary. Guests may bring their own, or they can pre-reserve a wheelchair and have it and other medical equipment delivered to the ship by contacting Special Needs at Sea at 800-513-4515 (outside the US 954-585-0575), or by visiting Special Needs at Sea's website (http://www.specialneedsatsea.com/). Alternatively, guests may contact CareVacations at 877-478-7827 or cruiseshipassist.com. Some areas on some ships are not wheelchair accessible.

Passengers utilizing mobility devices with batteries are advised that the batteries must be a dry cell type, and must be stored and recharged in the stateroom. Mobility devices of any kind, like any other items, may not be left outside the stateroom. Because of staffing limitations, it is recommended that guests travel with a companion who is physically able to assist them both onboard and onshore.

Travelers with disabilities should check in with the onboard Tour Office to ensure all shore excursions can accommodate them. Not all port facilities are accessible for those using mobility devices. Ports may be accessed by a variety of methods including a ramped gangway, a series of steps or by tender. In some cases, you may be able to access the tender, but the shoreside facility will not be accessible. Many ports of call use a mechanism known as a ?stair climber? to assist passengers up and down the gangway. Passengers must transfer to a Princess wheelchair, which is connected to the stair climber and operated by the ship?s personnel. Guests may be precluded from going ashore if they cannot transfer or if their personal mobility device cannot be easily disembarked. With the safety and comfort of guests in mind, the decision to permit or prohibit passengers from going ashore will be made on each occasion by the ship?s Captain, and the decision will be final. Ports that normally use tenders to access the shore are noted on the itinerary.

The maximum weight of the wheelchair including guest cannot exceed 600 lbs. on transportation lifts. If the guests has purchased a Princess Transfer at the start or end of the cruise, they must be made aware that lift-equipped transportation may not be available in their port of embarkation or disembarkation.

    Tender Port Policy
The goal of Princess Cruises is to provide a safe comfortable cruise experience for all guests. If a guest will be using a mobility device during their sailing, it is strongly recommended that they travel with a person physically fit to assist with the guest's needs both onboard and ashore. Embarking and disembarking can be challenging for those with limited mobility. Many major ports of call provide easy access for wheelchairs and scooters. However, due to various conditions - steepness of the gangway, weather, shore-side facilities, tidal and sea conditions - passengers using mobility devices may be required to transfer to a stair climber or be precluded from going ashore. Princess staff will make every effort to assist but are not allowed to individually physically lift more than 50 pounds (22 kg).

Some ports of call require the ship to anchor off shore. Passengers are then taken to shore by small boats or tenders. When tendering is required, passengers using mobility devices will not be transferred into or out of the tender, if lifting in excess of the above limitation is required. Many tender ports do not provide wheelchair access so even if the passenger can board the tender they may not be able to disembark ashore. Again the shore-side facilities, movement of the tender, weather and tidal conditions can also preclude tendering.

The decision to allow any passenger to board a tender or disembark the vessel will be made by the Captain on the basis of the safety and welfare of all involved and is final. If passengers are unable to tender or disembark because of circumstances outlined above there will be no refund or credit for missed ports. While Princess recognizes guests' disappointment, the safety of both guests and crew takes precedence.

Entry regulations for service animals vary by port. Passengers are advised to consult authorities at each port prior to departure for more information. Princess does not have food onboard for animals. The choice of dog litter material is limited and varies by ship.

    Electronic Assistance Devices
Princess ships are equipped with ?All-in-One Kits? with TTY that can be used in most passenger cabins and at Princess wilderness lodges. Most televisions onboard provide closed captioning and most onboard theaters have assisted listening devices. Electric outlets in most staterooms are limited to one and it is helpful to travel with an extension cord for electrical equipment. Princess also offers JAWS Professional software with a KOSS-TD/80 headset on one terminal in each Internet Caf? on every ship.

Cruise around Cape Horn on Star Princess - January 2019

| San Antonio, Chile; Puerto Montt, Chile; Punta Arenas, Chile (not able to go ashore due to weather); Ushuaia, Argentina; sail around Cape Horn; Falkland Islands; Puerto Madryn, Argentina; Montevideo, Uruguay; Buenos Aires, Argentina
The destinations make this trip - if one is interested in Patagonia and Buenos Aires, this trip meets that objective. We found the service to be very good - attentive (but not too much) stateroom service, dining room service (fixed seating) very good, and when we needed assistance with excursions, staff was very knowledgeable and provided what we needed with a smile. We certainly are not technical experts, but it seemed to us the captain and his staff were very capable in dealing with these difficult waters - we always felt that passenger and staff safety were paramount in ship operations.

Great cruise, many things to do both on and off the ship! I would recommend the cruises earlier in the season than late August for better weather!

Trip to Alaska, 2019

| Alaska
wonderful time and beautiful Alaska with Princess. I wished the naturalist you had on board for our trip was better for sure and there was only one time only available for that. It would have been better to offer more in terms of information on the locations of the cruise, Alaska and its history.

Alaskan Adventure

| Ketchican, Tracy Arm Fjord, Juneau, Skagway, and Victoria, British Columbia
We thoroughly enjoyed our Alaskan cruise.

15-Fay Hawaiian cruise

| Honolulu, Kauai, Maui, Hilo and Ensenada
Truly enjoyable experience! Our marriage ceremony was handled extremely well with friendly and thorough folks, including the ship's master, wedding planner and photographers!

First cruise

| Alaska
Ship was well maintained, never had any issues with our cabin or our steward. Very friendly staff and they were helpful. Ports of call were easy to navigate and enough to do to keep someone occupied. Activities on board were ok. Crowd on board were 50s and older so the entertainment was geared for that generation. Not a bad thing just not much night life. Only issue I had was that I have a gluten allergy and had very limited selection of food choice for breakfast. I had pancakes every day for 7 days. The desserts were very limited to non-existent from the food court. Dining room had better selection for lunch and dinner. They need to work with a nutrition consultant to make better meals for those that have food allergies. Never got sick from any food being contaminated but which there was more selection.

Why they arrange three airlines to come homefrom Anchorage?

The ship is beautiful. Itís a five star with food, entertainment and service!

| Chile to Argentina
This is our tenth cruise with a Princess ship...our first was with the Love Boat. We were very pleased with our room Stewart, Rodel! Our waiter, Kong, and his assistant, Brian, could not have done more to help us. Kong saw early in the cruise that my husband who has very limited vision, saw that I was cutting my husbandís food into smaller pieces. After two days of this observation, Kong came as soon as he could, and cut my husbandís food into smaller, bite size pieces. Kong is most efficient and helpful and can accomplish this with his helpful assistant, Brian.

I no longer trust Air Canada corporation. Their flights, though, were very good.

Alaskan Cruise

| Alaska, Inside Passage
Since we drove, and parked our cars in a garage, it was quite a hassle getting to and from the terminal. I understand that Princess is building a new terminal, which should help the traffic problem in the future.

Great trip. This is our 5th to Alaska and plan to go again. the scenery is fabulous. The service was great. Everyone was very friendly.

South American Cruise

We enjoyed the cruise and the three day stay in Buenos Aires. You have to be able to do alot of walking to enjoy the tour fully.

Alaska land and cruise

| Alaska land and cruise
statement stewart just fair, walked into room without knocking and wife was not dressed. Sometime room not very clean. Asked for ice on a couple of occasions. Suggestion that before cruise-tour Princess ask if we had any physical mobility limitations and house us on land portion in lodges closer to main lodge with less walking.

Sailing experience

| Hawaii
Smooth sailing. Very enjoyable experience. Food and staff are good.

15 Days with Princess

| Hawaii
We spent 15 days cruising from Los Angeles to several ports in and around Hawaii with our elderly parents. We were very impressed with the general staff around the ship. A flu strain broke out on our 2nd or 3rd day and the staff helped to keep it very contained. We loved our waiter and his assistant, Jose from Portugal and Hendrey, in the Amalfi dining room early service. We had some complaint with the timing of the shows; with elderly folks, it was very hard to catch a 7:45 show and the next one on the opposite end of the ship at 10:00. The main band didn't impress us too much with their "same sound", no matter what they were singing. Since they seemed to be the headliners, that got a bit old, quick. They weren't bad, just...kind of boring. Other than that, the staff were so assistive with our folks, and polite, helpful, and unobtrusive. The talks, classes, lectures and games were well hosted. The food was mostly lovely - I personally gained 5 pounds. In quick review, I'd say the Princess staff were very well trained, the ship ran like an orchestra for embarkation, debarkation, tours, and tenders. My husband and I would both highly recommend Princess again. LOVED the mini-balcony upgrade we received with the full bathtub.

Best vacation ever!!

| Alaska
I have never written a review without at least something needing work. I can honestly say that Star Princess went above and beyond in customer service, food, entertainment. this was our first cruise and I will not hesitate to book another one with Star Princess. Thank you Thank you Thank you

The best ever.

| Alaska
Princess is a great cruise line, great service.& beautiful ships. My travel agent will always book my cruises for me & my friends.

Great Time!!

| Cabo San Lucas
Overall it was a great cruise. They offered a variety of activities throughout the day to entertain us.

Alaska Adventure

| Alaska Northbound Inside Passage
We took our whole family (12) on the Northbound Inside Passage Cruise to Alaska and it was a dream. The food was wonderful. The dining staff was top notch. They even made our grandson's favorite dish one night. The Kids Club was great. We had 3 grandkids with us and they didn't want to leave the ship they had so much fun. The Cruise Director and Entertainment staff were great. Our daughter competed in the Voice of the Ocean and was so thrilled to be able to sing with a live band in the finals. Our rooms were great. We had a mini suite with a balcony, so that we could all get together when we needed to and that turned out great.

a very friendly ship

This is the first time after all these princess cruises we took that the captain of the ship came to the lido buffet to say hello and talk t o his fellow passengers.Thank you for this grand gesture of courtesy

Love the Star Princess

| Hawaii
Love Club Class dining. Breakfast at Sabatinis could use a fresh menu. This ship is a favorite and we are very disappointed that Princess will no longer be sending it to Vancouver.

Vancouver to Whittier

| Vancouver, Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, Whittier, Talkeetna, Denali, Fairbanks
All of our excursions were excellent except there was not enough time allowed on the Wilderness/Mendenhall Glacier excursion. Glacier Bay was magnificent and we really appreciated the National Park Rangers who spend their day with us. They were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The time at College Fjord was reduced by half the time listed on the Princess Patter, which was EXTREMELY disappointing. We would gladly have skipped dinner if we had known. On a side note: the timing for that stop surely could've avoided the dinner seatings, since we were such a short distance from Whittier. What was the rush? In addition to the ship, the hotels on land were dated as well. Toilet seat slid around at one, tv didn't work (maintenance repaired it and very quickly) and hvac didn't work (could not be repaired) at another. Food seemed to be the same at all land hotels, so we found ourselves searching for other options in Fairbanks (not difficult). The availability of public spaces at all of the hotels was a welcome treat. The coordination of people, luggage, meals, excursions, transfers and transit, was a work of art. Very well done and impressive. Love, love, loved our waiter, Francisco, and junior waiter, Jeffyboy, at table 222 in the Amalfi dining room. Almost more impressive, by virtue that we weren't in his section, was Rene working the tables next to us. We were also exceedingly well treated by head waiter Renzo, who was so attentive, especially to my mom and nieces. They all made dinner such a pleasure. The physical condition of the ship and the hotels keep the overall rating at 4 stars instead of 5.

It was nice, but we will use NCL in the future

| Cabo, La Paz, Lorito and PV
All was well until we came back to SF and realized the next day that my IPOD had been stolen from the center armrest storage. I thought since they had the key and were watching the car it would be OK. I know they will not stand behind it, but I was in business for myself for thirty-seven years and I know my intolerance for thieves. I would not recommend the parking garage at 55 Francisco to any of your future customers

Cruise Alaska review

| Juno, Skagway, Ketchican, Victoria
Princess delivers a fine cruise! My only complaints hover around the dining room. We had "anytime" seating. One night the Capri dining room was crowded so we were moved to the Amalfi dining room. Comparing the 2 dining rooms it was my observation that the service in Amalfi was better, maybe there were more people on staff, and much faster. We were served and finished in one hour. In the Capri we were never finished in less than 2 hours! One of those meals the dining room was almost empty and the waiters were just hanging around, chatting, and ignoring the fact that we were staring at our empty plates. My other complaint was the food choices. I would have liked to see an occasional choice of "plain" food, meaning food that could be delicious without drowning in a sauce. I have to be very careful of my salt intake and the menus offered nothing I felt were safe for me to eat. I found myself wanting to eat all the time in the buffet where I could prepare a salt-free salad. I understand that the use of sauces helps keep the food moist, especially in a banquet environment. I don't know what the answer would be yet I am sure I am not the only one with the issue. I'm not supposed to lose weight on a cruise!!!

Hawaii Cruise 2017

| Hawaii
This cruise was very relaxing, enjoyed the sea days as well as the port days- thought I might find myself bored with so many sea days, but with the ports in between, we thoroughly enjoyed the sea days with activities or lounging on the deck. The service exceeded our expectations. We ate in the open dining room for dinner, the food was great with multiple options to choose from. Our waiters were top notch, so much so that we went to the same table every night just to have the same waiters. The hostesses were very friendly and welcoming, they knew where we would be sitting and made sure our table was ready. Would definitely recommend the Crown Grill, their food was outstanding and service was excellent. Our group agreed we would definitely do this same cruise again. Hopefully sooner than later!

Princess was KING!

| Alaska Land Tour and Cruise
The entire process Princess employed in moving people through the many land and water based venues was executed with excellence. Every single employee was extraordinary, just the "right person" for the role, happy and appeared to genuinely care for everyone and everything they dealt with.

The entire Princess experience was amazing.

Amazing Alaska

| Ketchican, Juneau, Skagway, Denali, Mt McKinley
Overall we are very pleased with our choice to go with Princess Cruise line. The ship was clean and our staff that took care of our room and other things were stupendous. We would definitely use them again

Mexico trip

| Mexico
For those traveling for a food experience this was great, but I rather prefer a mid size ship for travel. With almost 3000 people on the ship and so many handicapped it made things move slower than expected. However, the service was great in most cases and the service people very helpful and friendly. Eating in the dinning area seemed like a factory with so many people to feed at one time and service people rushing around. Was hard to relax and enjoy your meal. We did go to the "service charged" dinning rooms and felt more at ease and relaxed and the area was quiet and more to what you would expect on a cruise.

Enjoyable cruise!

| Alaska
Overall we had a great trip - we were disappointed that we couldn't take our tour in Ketchikan due to weather but enjoyed our alternative tour.

16 Day South America Adventure

| Chile, Peru, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Puerto Vallarta
We would definitely do this trip again.

Great times

| Mexico, Hawaii
The worst lectures I have ever sat through aboard a ship. The LGBT Group was great. Many incredible meals. The movies shown in the theater were excellent.

Cruises in January

| Hawaii and Mexico from L.A.
Had my expectations set too high. Sea days are not as fun when it is too cold, rainy, and windy to get out on deck. Why can't the ship ever spend a nite or two in port ?

Alaskan Vacation

| Alaska
Had a wonderful time, excursions were nicely run. Would liked more variety of food choices for gluten allergy. Ship did a good job with accommodatng butneed a lot more variety and better desserts. All in alla geeat trip. Age range was much older crowd, no nightlife due to this.

Star Princess

We were unable to dock on Kaui because of wind. the ship circled the island, but visiblity was poor. The wind on Maui was very strong and cut off tender service miday. Most people who wanted to get off did.

Overall we enjoyed the cruise. Our weather wasn't good but who can predict that. Entertainment was okay. Lecturers were excellent.

Sailing to Hawaii for the Holidays

| Alaska
Boarding in San Francisco should have been easy but due to a dock workers conflict, it turned out to be very stressful. Ensenada is Ensenada but the beer and guacamole made up for the time we were there. Wish the weather had been better, 17foot swells on the way to Hawaii! Next time we will definetly reserve staterooms midship, less rocky rocky. Really enjoyed the stops in Hawaii, just wish there was more time. The weather was beautiful the whole time we were there. The return trip was rocky but not quite as bad as the trip over.

I am happy we went to Alaska but would not go again. Also was somewhat disappointed in Princess. For the money it was lacking. But the biggest difficulty was the plane reservations. My husband still has not received his luggage, maybe today. Maureen

South American around the Horn

| Around the Horn of South America
The Captain of the ship was very approachable as he made his rounds of the ship twice daily. He seems very thorough as he keep the passengers up-to-date on what was happening as we proceeded into rough seas. He closed off the outside areas as the seas become rough. I was very impressed with his safety of all. Did notice the ship dress code for dinner was more laxed than my last cruise. Overall the trip was great.

Princess 15-day Hawaii Cruise

| Hawaii
Our recent cruise to Hawaii on the Star Princess was wonderful. The ship's staff was excellent in every area; the dining rooms were well-run and provided excellent food and service. This cruise is for experienced "cruisers" only because of the length of time at sea.

I found that the class of boat (Golden, Grand, Star) just fit what I enjoy. Not big, not crowded, fancy enough for me. Easy to get around. I do enjoy the Food Court. I like the variety and the convenience of having food at your beck and call all day long. I am not a person that really enjoys dressing up so I feel comfortable on these boats. Besides, they are in my home ports in California. No flying.

GREAT WAIT STAFF

It Was OK

| R/T LA to Hawaii
Older ship; really liked all the space to hang clothes and all the hangers!! Wow! Usually have to request more. Balcony furniture in bad shape; bed was comfy, nice pillows. Prompt room service. Entertainment below par; had some good lectures.

Amazing Cruise

| alaska
I would have given 5 stars except I was very tired of all the sales pitches. It's like the staff is commissioned sales team. Do not like that and for that reason giving 4 stars. Photographer - Mr T so wonderful and his activity best on board. He is patient and good teacher to take photo's of gray, cloudy glaciers. Would have been nice to have more offerings in photo lessons. Assistant Activity Director - young blond woman from South Africa was the best! So much energy and great sense of humor. Dinner - last night cork broke when waiter opened the 100 dollar bottle of wine we ordered. He continued to serve it with cork pieces in each glass. When we mentioned it he brought a strainer device but still had cork pieces in it. Should be trained to immediately replace it with new bottle and not try to serve up wine with cork bits in it. That was only incident or negative comment about meal time. l

Wonderful Cruise

I had a great time. From pools and recreation, to shows and entertainment. One of the best times on a cruise I have had. I like the time at sea and the rough waters and wild winds. My wish came true, riding the waves at sea. Also met a lot of people on the ship from all over the world, along with meeting crew members. I can't believe how many people new me and called me by name. Conversations were really interesting at the dinner table, where we enjoyed each others day adventure. The fire in the kitchen was also neat. Captain even mad a joke about it. It was a coffee maker.

Alaskan Cruise

| Inland Alaskan Cruiese
We took this cruise with our 5 daughters and their husbands, in celebration of our 50th Wedding Anniversary. The service was exceptional and the anniversary celebration for us and two of our five daughters who were celebrating anniversaries, as well, was memorable. The two dinner waiters joined in our fun and we became close friends. The weather was exceptionally mild for this time of year, which added to our enjoyment.

Great Trip

| Hawaii
Of all of the cruises we have taken this was probably the most relaxing. Four sea days each way we're no problem, they had outstanding lecturers on board to provide education. Many activities to keep busy if that was what you wanted or reading and relaxing if that was your choice. It is a trip I might consider repeating in the future.

Enjoyed our dining room server, he was very attentive and he would do magic tricks for us Our room steward was as friendly as can be

First-time fun

| Santa Barbara, Ensenada
Food was wonderful of course. Colder weather meant we had adult pool/back bar area almost to ourselves for most of the cruise. Most of the staff was wonderful, a few not so great, but the good outshone the bad. Specialty dining was a beautiful setting, but not really worth the extra charge. Food & service were actually a bit better in the "regular" dining area. Glad we tried it, but wouldn't do it again on this ship. Production show was really fun.

The lady who took care of our Stateroom did a very good job and was always very pleasant, with a smile on her face. Thr crew made you feel like you were the only people on the ship always very accomdating to our needs. Second time to Alaska. Southbound trip was really the best way to go for us. Doing land tour first, then relaxing on the ship. Glacier Bay scenic cruising was really amazing. Should be a "Must See" on the ships itinerary. Weather was good, only one rainy day out of the 13 day trip.

Cruise to Alaska

| San Francisco to Alaska
My wife and I really enjoyed our trip to Alaska. The ship was beautiful and the service was wonderful. For the most part we enjoyed our excursions with the exception of the train ride in Skagway. The train broke down and they had to back down the mountain to change to another engine. We wanted to get off for medical reasons but, no one was in our car to address the issue. We filed a complaint with the Star Princess shore excursions office but never received a response, or refund. The other issue was the traffic jam getting to and from the ship. It was a cluster. The weather was beautiful, sunny with no rain, and the seas were very calm. We saw plenty of wild life from our balcony. I would still recommend this trip.
