  • Special Dietary Needs - Advance Notice Required - Princess is happy to meet your request for low-sodium, low-fat, low-sugar, and vegetarian diets. Guests may visit Cruise Personalizer? on the Princess website (https://book.princess.com/cruisepersonalizer/) to indicate dietary preferences.

In addition, kosher meals and baby food are available upon advance written request. Any other special diet requests must be authorized in advance by the Princess corporate office.

Guests or their travel agent must advise Princess, in writing, of any special diet, allergies, or medical needs. Requests must be received no later than 35 days prior to departure for cruises to Alaska, Canada/New England, Caribbean, Hawaii, Mexico, Panama Canal and Coastal Getaways. For all other cruises, requests must be received no later than 65 days prior to departure. Once onboard, please check with the Maitre D' to confirm the request.

  • Internet Access - Internet access is available on all Princess vessels through the 24-hour onboard internet caf? and wireless network, which is available in staterooms and various public areas.

Guests can use the state-of-the-art computer systems located in the internet caf? to access their web-based email accounts or to browse the internet. Guests may also use their own wireless-enabled laptops to access the internet through the onboard wireless network.

Guests may contact the Internet Caf? Manager onboard for information regarding the charges that apply to internet and wireless services, and any other specific requirements.

Please note that internet access via satellite is significantly slower than high-speed connections on shore. Princess reserves the right to filter content accessed via the ship's internet services. High bandwidth consuming applications - such as voice over IP telephony, peer-to-peer file sharing, and streaming media - may be restricted onboard Princess vessels.

  • Medical Emergencies - The shipboard medical centers are primarily intended to provide acute care for illness and accidents that may occur while on vacation and are not intended to provide long-term care for patients with chronic illnesses or as a substitute for regular health care.

The medical centers are intended to provide quality maritime medical care for guests and crew members aboard the ships; initiate appropriate stabilization, diagnostic and therapeutic maneuvers for critically ill or mentally unstable patients; support, comfort and care for patients onboard; and facilitate the timely medical evacuation of patients, if appropriate.

Charges for medical services will be added to guests' shipboard account. Guests will be provided with an itemized account to submit to their insurance company. Please note that Princess ships are registered in Bermuda. Guests should verify with their insurer if coverage applies outside the United States, or purchase appropriate travel insurance.

  • Pregnancy Policy - Pregnant women entering the 24th week of pregnancy by the last day of the cruise are not allowed to sail.

All pregnant women are required to produce a physician?s letter stating that mother and baby are in good health, fit to travel and the pregnancy is not high-risk. The letter must also include the estimated date of delivery (EDD) calculated from both Last Menstrual Period (LMP) and ultrasound (if performed).

It is strongly recommend that pregnant guests review their health insurance coverage before cruising. Many policies, including Medicare, will not pay for services or hospitalization outside of the country or for emergency evacuation.

Guests may want to consider Princess Vacation Protection, which is available for purchase up to the time of final payment of the cruise fare. If the guest did not secure Princess Vacation Protection, it is recommended that they secure other travel protection.

  • Smoking Policy - Keeping the comfort of guests a priority, Princess has implemented the following smoking policy:

    Designated Smoking Areas
Clearly marked "Designated Smoking Areas" are available onboard and include a sufficient number of ashtrays that are emptied regularly. Generally, these areas include cigar lounges, a section of the nightclub and casino, as well as a portion of the open decks. As a safety precaution, passengers are reminded to properly dispose of cigarettes, cigars and pipe tobacco, which are never to be thrown overboard as this may be sucked back into the ship and cause fires.

    Stateroom Smoking Policy
Smoking is prohibited in all passenger staterooms and on stateroom balconies. Violations to this policy will result in a $250 fine for each occurrence, which will be charged to the guest's stateroom account.

    Electronic Cigarettes
The use of electronic cigarettes is permitted in all areas onboard with the exception of dining areas and the Princess Theater. However, should a fellow guest in the vicinity feel inconvenienced and complain, even after being told the difference between electronic and real cigarettes, the guest will be asked to refrain from smoking the electronic cigarette.

  • Wheelchair Access & Special Needs - Princess makes every effort to accommodate guests with disabilities. Guests can ensure a successful trip by working with them in advance. Guests or their travel agents should notify Princess of wheelchair usage, special needs, and/or service animals before the voyage. Notices and requests must be made in writing and faxed to the Princess Access office at 661-284-4408 at least 30 days prior to sailing. For answers to any questions about the program, please call the Princess Access office at 661-284-4521.

All Princess ships have wheelchair-accessible staterooms, but it is highly recommended that guests bring collapsible wheelchairs, as the widths of the stateroom doors vary. Guests may bring their own, or they can pre-reserve a wheelchair and have it and other medical equipment delivered to the ship by contacting Special Needs at Sea at 800-513-4515 (outside the US 954-585-0575), or by visiting Special Needs at Sea's website (http://www.specialneedsatsea.com/). Alternatively, guests may contact CareVacations at 877-478-7827 or cruiseshipassist.com. Some areas on some ships are not wheelchair accessible.

Passengers utilizing mobility devices with batteries are advised that the batteries must be a dry cell type, and must be stored and recharged in the stateroom. Mobility devices of any kind, like any other items, may not be left outside the stateroom. Because of staffing limitations, it is recommended that guests travel with a companion who is physically able to assist them both onboard and onshore.

Travelers with disabilities should check in with the onboard Tour Office to ensure all shore excursions can accommodate them. Not all port facilities are accessible for those using mobility devices. Ports may be accessed by a variety of methods including a ramped gangway, a series of steps or by tender. In some cases, you may be able to access the tender, but the shoreside facility will not be accessible. Many ports of call use a mechanism known as a ?stair climber? to assist passengers up and down the gangway. Passengers must transfer to a Princess wheelchair, which is connected to the stair climber and operated by the ship?s personnel. Guests may be precluded from going ashore if they cannot transfer or if their personal mobility device cannot be easily disembarked. With the safety and comfort of guests in mind, the decision to permit or prohibit passengers from going ashore will be made on each occasion by the ship?s Captain, and the decision will be final. Ports that normally use tenders to access the shore are noted on the itinerary.

The maximum weight of the wheelchair including guest cannot exceed 600 lbs. on transportation lifts. If the guests has purchased a Princess Transfer at the start or end of the cruise, they must be made aware that lift-equipped transportation may not be available in their port of embarkation or disembarkation.

    Tender Port Policy
The goal of Princess Cruises is to provide a safe comfortable cruise experience for all guests. If a guest will be using a mobility device during their sailing, it is strongly recommended that they travel with a person physically fit to assist with the guest's needs both onboard and ashore. Embarking and disembarking can be challenging for those with limited mobility. Many major ports of call provide easy access for wheelchairs and scooters. However, due to various conditions - steepness of the gangway, weather, shore-side facilities, tidal and sea conditions - passengers using mobility devices may be required to transfer to a stair climber or be precluded from going ashore. Princess staff will make every effort to assist but are not allowed to individually physically lift more than 50 pounds (22 kg).

Some ports of call require the ship to anchor off shore. Passengers are then taken to shore by small boats or tenders. When tendering is required, passengers using mobility devices will not be transferred into or out of the tender, if lifting in excess of the above limitation is required. Many tender ports do not provide wheelchair access so even if the passenger can board the tender they may not be able to disembark ashore. Again the shore-side facilities, movement of the tender, weather and tidal conditions can also preclude tendering.

The decision to allow any passenger to board a tender or disembark the vessel will be made by the Captain on the basis of the safety and welfare of all involved and is final. If passengers are unable to tender or disembark because of circumstances outlined above there will be no refund or credit for missed ports. While Princess recognizes guests' disappointment, the safety of both guests and crew takes precedence.

Entry regulations for service animals vary by port. Passengers are advised to consult authorities at each port prior to departure for more information. Princess does not have food onboard for animals. The choice of dog litter material is limited and varies by ship.

    Electronic Assistance Devices
Princess ships are equipped with ?All-in-One Kits? with TTY that can be used in most passenger cabins and at Princess wilderness lodges. Most televisions onboard provide closed captioning and most onboard theaters have assisted listening devices. Electric outlets in most staterooms are limited to one and it is helpful to travel with an extension cord for electrical equipment. Princess also offers JAWS Professional software with a KOSS-TD/80 headset on one terminal in each Internet Caf? on every ship.

Lovely Time!

| Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, Cabo
My first time on a Princess ship and would definitely sail with them again.

Great Memories

| Alaska
Great experience. Made lifetime memories. The train ride was to slow a pace and I would not recommend the long ride. I was told that even the half a train ride got a bit boring.

Quality Time!

| Alaska
Interactions with the crew were really good. Had one small problem and they really worked to fix it and did.

Cruise of March 15-20 2014

| Mexico, Grand Cayman
Overall everything was good and the staff were very attentive. There were four of us who dined together in the dining room late evenings at table 31 and the staff were so attentive, James and the young lady I have forgotten her name, Helena? We could not have desired a better service, they were outstanding. Please give them our regards and tell them how much we miss them, now we have to plan our own meals. I wish them well and hope they are recognized as employee of the month

review of ship

| San Francisco, Santa Barbara, San Diego, Ensenada
The best food was the optional pay for restaurants. The disembarkation was handled in the most excellent manor. We've never gotten on or off a ship so smoothly.

Had a wonderful time! Loved it!

Seven day inside passage cruise with three shore excursions

| Alaskas Inside Passage
The food and service at the "Crab Shack" on the ship was terrible and we paid two cover charges of $ 29 for that dinner which was too salty and the waiter tried to rush us.. There was no menu. The food and service at the Crown Grill on the ship was excellent and we ate dinner there twice The food and service at Michelangelo restaurant on the ship was excellent and we ate dinner there three times with the menu changing each time Unhappily, there was nobody to help me get from the end of the ship ramp to the pier at any of the three ports. In Ketchican we had to get off the ship at low tide and the ship ramp went down a steep slope(I was wheeled down that ramp) . However, the pier ramp went up a step slope and I had no help getting up that ramp. It was a very difficult struggle, but I made it to the pier.so that I could take the first excursion.

Princess Ruby Review

| British Isles
The Ruby Princess was a nice ship and clean, however, it was not up to par as far as the other Princess ships we have traveled on. It seemed that the ship was so large that no one knew what was happening, and there seemed to be no concern. The head waiter in the dining room was not too concerned when we asked for a certain waiter on several occasions. We were not put with that waiter at all. Wonder if it was because there were three women and a man traveling together and we were being discriminated upon? My friend fell on one of the side excursions, and it was a major ordeal to get proper paper work completed and doctor paper work completed as she was not able to continue on another scheduled trip to Switzerland with us on Insight. As I said, there was no concern. This was my friend's first adventure on Princess, and needless to say, she was not impressed. Also, the side excursions were too rushed and there was no time for shopping in the local shops. It was always "be back to the bus in 10 minutes." The entertainment on the ship was not up to par either. We were very disappointed almost every night we went to the Princess Theater. There were many small things that led us to believe that the ship was not up to Princess standards. Princess can do better.

Welcome Home

Great Vacation

Experiencing n exploring

| All of them
Being this is our first cruise trip, we were so amazed of experiencing the lifestyle of vacationing on a cruise ship...wow!!!!! Meeting people from all over the world and exploring the different varieties of cultural foods. We would definitely share our experience to friends and families about exploring the cruise ship life and venture again to see n explore the world. The princess ruby has awesome people and staffs as part of her ohana (family) Much mahalo in making our trip an adventure that never be forgotten... Until we meet again...mahalo nui loa

Best Vacation Ever!!

| California Coastal
Kudos to Ruben and Bruce, Crooners Bar, they were very entertaining and took good care of us and all our new friends. Excellent entertainment, food, service - top notch staff, very organized.

Outstanding cruise

| Alaska 7 days on the Ruby Princess
Princess is an outstanding company they do things right and are well organized. The first day of breakfast on the ship I was not impressed with the food, however, they managed to get it together the rest of the cruise. The formal dinners were excellent and they said it was formal I went to the trouble to bring a suite andadded weight to my suitcase. I was very disappointed they didnt enforce the formal dress code they allowed people in dressed in shorts and not the required formal attire as indicated in the princess requirements for formal attire. The excursions were excellent the people running them on land were always on time and made you welcome!! Princess cruise management is excellent and very well customer oriented. The best at what they do. Internet on ship was available and if you can live without talking on the phone until you reach your destination just use the internet for everything else. One you reach port I have At&T coverage for the most part was excellent in town and once you leave to go on an excursion you may not have any service until you get back close to the port. I cant say enough about our trip it was incredible to see Alaska a once in a lifetime trip.

Awesome Alaska

| Ketchican, Juneau,Skagway , Alaska
We really enjoyed theis cruise. Embarkation easy, dining great, shore excursions great, the staff was super friendly and helpful. My husband walks with a cane and they were very helpful to him. Everyone was so pleasant. We loved Bob the Cruise Director. Shows in the Princess Theatre were enjoyable. We saw a vocal impressionist Tyler Bryce. He was awesome!! Best cruise we have ever gone on. This is our 9th cruise.

| Porta viarta Mazatlan in Cabo San Lucas
How Cruise was amazing lots of entertainment lots of dancing lots of things to keep me busy the ship was beautiful everybody was very nice and pleasant to work with

Our 15 day Hawaiian Vacation

| Hawaii
We really enjoyed the cruise. If we had it to do over again we probably would have flown and spend more time on the islands. We had never been to Hawaii so 4 days was a little short to see the islands. Would have liked to go to a luau but it would have costs $100 each. The cruise ended up costing about double the base price which was $1300 each. With insurance, gratuities, port tax, and tours we ended up spending $5000. This will be our last cruise as we can't afford anymore.

Excellent Cruise Experience

| Mexico
Cabin steward, Andrei Bandara , R741 was excellent; very helpful, took care of all of our requests. We also love the International Caf. The staff are all excellent.

Our cruise

| Princess Cay and Turks
it is important to find out if the cruise in port days are in an existing town or just a man made group of tourist shops. I know when previously visiting St Maarten and St Thomas the port stops were better. I guess as we get older the stops with more strenuous activities become less interesting. Entertainment was fair. best was a singer at Crooners lounge, Tommy McPhee. Food on Princess in dining room becomes more average as time goes on.

New England / Quebec

| New England / Quebec
Overall a great experience. Dining room anytime dining was cancelled one evening without telling us while we waited. Several times the silverware and plates were dirty. The stateroom bedding and carpeting was tired looking as compared to our cruise on the Ruby in 2011. Our stateroom steward, Genghis, was very accommodating, organized and kind. Michelangelo Dining room staff not nearly as happy and fun as with previous cruises. Bedroom chocolates were like paraffin. Excursion and tender staff were excellent and organized. Gathering suitcases from port upon disembarkation was chaotic; people going in and out the same direction. This was dangerous for some to possibly fall over those pulling carry-on luggage. The overall food was good, but not as good as with previous Princess cruises. The overall trip was good, but the service and food were somewhat below our previous Princess cruises.

Jeanne Smiley

| Ensenada and Catalins
Enjoyed this short four day cruise very much. It was a lot of fun.

Dining Room Waiter/Waitress

| Puerto Vallarta and Matzatlan
Jigger and Magnolia provided us with excellent dining room service.

Wonderful cruise!!

| Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan, Glacier Bay, and Victoria, BC
Wonderful trip! Great food! Excellent service from all wait staff and our room attendant. The naturalist, Michael Modolewski (sp?) was excellent! He is very knowledgeable, and such a such a great speaker. He is a wonderful addition to the cruise. Please make it more clear to first time cruisers where you can eat without an additional charge. That is not clear once you board the ship, and not clear in the Princess Patter. Food gifts: please provide storage containers or smaller plates with covers. My sister and her husband couldn't eat it all upon arrival, and there was no way to store the food - the plate and cover didn't fit in the small room frig. Do you have to push all that jewelry and leave all those cards in the room mailbox regarding jewelry? What a waste of paper, and I didn't take the cruise to be bombarded with jewelry ads. It became annoying. I attended the shopping seminar for Alaska made things and salmon, not jewelry. I hope you recycle all that paper! Otherwise, this was a wonderful cruise, and we're very happy with Princess. Great weather helped, too!

Great trip!

| Alaska, British Columbia
I took my two grandkids ( ages 16 and 17) on an Alaska cruise to celebrate graduation and birthdays. We all shared an interior room which proved to be more than sufficient for the three of us. The beds were very comfortable and our steward very friendly. My grandaughter was especially delighted with the daily "Princess Patter ' newsletter ad quickly learned how to navigate throughout the ship. We lucked into excellent weather which made our shore excursions even more enjoyable. All staff were extremely friendly, particularly those in the ships restaurants. The food was good both in the buffet and in the dining rooms and given that I was traveling with two teens, the pizza/ice cream bar proved very popular. The disappointing parts were the lack of entertainment options that interested a younger crowd- bingo and art auctions aren't exactly their cup of tea. While there was a youth room, their visit to the room didn't interest them. They loved all shore excursions. Would have loved to have more time in Victoria, B.C. which is a beautiful city but the 4 hours available in the evening was not enough to truly enjoy it.There is quite a bit of 'sales pitch" while on board, particularly related to purchasing jewelry at ports of call which was a turnoff. Favorite activity of the teens was going whale watching, my favorite day by far was the day on the ship in Glacier Bay- stunning!

Inside Cabin More Roomie than Most

| Hawaiian Islands and Encenada
By placing the beds against the far wall facing the door and running the desk and closet parallel to the foot of the beds, you have a lot more room to move around. Another pro is that you can set up an electronic account in the casino so you don't ever need to carry cash--everything is charged to your room.

Ruby Princess

| Alaska
Excellent time ! We enjoyed the cruise immensely!

Ruby Princess Review

| Alaska
A great experience....everything we had wanted it to be for our children, many of whom were first time cruisers. So glad Princess had not cut their amenities like to many other cruise lines.

Cruising Fun

| Cabo
This is my 5th cruise on Princess. I would sail anytime, anyplace with this cruise line. Personally, I like more port stops but I selected this cruise so my error. Ship is run very efficiently. Everything moves on schedule.

Fantastic Voyage!

| Alaska and Canada
We needed a vacation, and we received an Excellent one with Princess Cruises!

Celebrating 2 Birthday's !

| Puerta V. Maz and Cabo
All was great, we had a blast and can't wait till we do another cruise.

Wonderful Cruise

| Mexican Riviera
All in all, a very nice cruise with plenty of onboard activity options. Missed the honey-roasted peanuts in Crooners lounge. Didn't care for the Soul Rockers group although other live entertainment was good. Enjoyed the culinary demonstration very much--was informative and very entertaining.

Excellent

| Puerto Vallarta
Good value

Excellent Vacation

| Sydney, Australia and several ports in New Zealand
We really enjoyed our cruise on the Ruby Princess. The staff were excellent. Special accolades to our Cabin Steward, Arnold, our favorite Michelangelo Dining room Wait Team, Gari and Winston, our Crown Grill Waiter Miriyana, and Pop Choir Director, Jeremy.

Ruby Princess

| Rivera cruise to Mexico
Amazing!!! Well done!!! We LOVE it... We are ready for another cruise ??????

Third cruise, first time to Alaska.

| Alaska, Victoria, Seattle.
The only suggestion I can make is to arrive at the Butchart Gardens in Victoria a bit earlier. Picture taking is hard in the dimming light of evening.

Mexican Holiday

| Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Cabo San Lucas Mexico
We scheduled our own shuttle to LAX airport. Next time would use Princess shuttle bus to save time and hassle.

Alaska Inland Passage

| Inland Passage - Alask
Two groups (just the garden tour and the butterfly/garden tour met in the same area to disembark, but there was only one cruise representative coordinating both groups. There were no signs directing each group to a certain section of the room. The representative was not customer service oriented at all! She was a little abrasive and curt when questioned. She also indicated that she could only talk so loud, and therefore, many were having trouble hearing her directions. Ultimately, there should have been more employees to coordinate such a large group of people. Then, when we left the ship, there was NO signage indicating where we were supposed to congregate. After questioning someone with another tour, we were directed to the line of buses, which were also not very clearly marked. I also felt that the excursion was very rushed, especially at the gardens. I had heard about the beauty of the gardens, but we had very little daylight in which to enjoy them.

overwhelming

| bahamas, cozumel. ocho rio
All expectations were exceeded!!

7-day Mexican Riviera on Ruby Princess

| Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, Cabo San Lucas
We discovered The Sanctuary on this cruise and it was worth every penny as the ship was sold-out over Spring Break with 3,550 passengers and tons of kids.

California coastal cruise

| San Francisco. San Diego. Ensenada.
We had an enjoyable cruise and went on fun excursions. We missed out on seeing Monterrey due to bad weather and choppy seas. But had an extra day in San Diego so that made up for it. Enjoyed our anniversary dinner in the Michelangelo Dining room. The waiters gave us a cake treat and sang happy anniversary to us. It was a fun evening I thought the staff was going to put a happy anniversary sign and balloons on our stateroom door like they did for other passengers but they didn’t. It was a fun trip Overall.

Canada and New England

| New England, Canada Cruise
Once again we had an excellent cruise. All went smoothly. Had a great time.

Don't understand

| Alaska
Delicious food, nice cabin, impressed with our waiters and room stewards. Loved the 2 musical shows in the showroom. Ports and weather good. Excited to cruise again with Princess.

Alaska Cruise

| Alaska
We were first time cruisers and cannot say enough good about this entire experience! It was the most relaxing way to travel and see so many different places. One of the best parts was not having to live out of a suit case. You unpack once. The staff were amazing. They were so friendly and helpful. We are already booked for another cruise in 2018!

Alaskan Inside Passage Cruise

| Juneau, Skagway, Glacier Bay National Park, Ketchikan, and Victoria (British Columbia)
This was an absolute trip of a lifetime! The Ruby Princess is a beautiful ship, and our food and service the entire time was impeccable. The views were unparalleled, with absolutely stunning and breathtaking scenery. We would definitely do this particular cruise again, on the same ship!

Cruise No. 35

| Nassau, Princess Cays and Grand Turk, Cacios
I would highly recommend this cruise to everyone.

Great Ship!

| Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, Cabo San Lucas
Puerto Vallarta was fun - Dona Estancia Tequila Factory especially; Cabo San Lucas was fun - snorkeling in Santa Maria Bay from a yacht; the Ruby Princess was lovely, though beginning to show her age. We heard that Ruby Princess had the best food in the fleet, and we agreed completely! The cliff divers in Mazatlan were amazing, the church was pretty, but our buffet lunch at some resort hotel was terrible. We were crowded in to a room too small (ten chairs at each table for eight), had to wait in line for 20 minutes to get our mediocre lunch with bitter margaritas. The folkloric show was decent, but definitely not worth the $139 price tag for the day. Overall the ship's itinerary was a lot of fun. You do have to enjoy days at sea since they are four out of the seven days, but Princess Champagne Breakfast on the Balcony and their informative wine tastings, good entertainment options, plus the Lotus spa make those sea days fly by! Definitely recommend this cruise.

Ruby Princess, Alaska

| Alaska
Our family of 12 took the Alaska cruise out of Seattle. This worked very well for us as we were able to drive and save the air fare. The parking at the pier in Seattle is a little pricey, but not compared to an airline ticket. The Ruby was beautiful and the cruise was great. All had a wonderful time.

Alaskan Adventure

| Alaska
I went on this adventure with my mom. There was plenty to do for both of us. We had a phenomenal experience!

Ruby Princess 4 day cruise

| Ensenada
Although Princess had advised you they could not guarantee to get us there for a noon flight, we contacted Passenger Services as you advised, and they placed us with a 8:30 am disembarkation group, which got us to LAX in plenty of time. I cannot understand Princess' mis-information that caused us to get a refund from the previously paid transfer reservation, and leave it up to us to make our own arrangements! There were hundreds of people leaving the ship even earlier than we did. I'm very disappointed that Princess mislead us and think that was a regretful disservice to us that caused me unnecessary anxiety as to how we were going to manage for ourselves!

Wonderful Family Cruise

| Seattle, Skagway, Tracey Arms, Jumeau. Ketchikan, Victoria, Seattle
Our 3 generational family of 9 totally enjoyed this cruise. We think Princess has the best food compared to the other 5 cruise lines we have used. Their seafood, steaks, and desserts were outstanding. Anything chocolate is simply delicious. The ship is large and never seemed crowded. There are many pools and hot tubs. We enjoyed the children's program, the saunas, and the fitness room. The ports are so diverse with plenty to do. Will definitely sail on Princess again.

What an Awesome Trip !!!!!!

| San Francisco, Monterey, San Diego, Ensenada
Out of all the cruises I have been on I must say that Ruby Princess out shined the other cruise. The level of service was exceptional. All the employees were attentive even if you were not asking a question about their area. I was very impressed with the shows given in the Princess Theater. There was never a dull moment. My Senior Travel group is taking the same trip in March 2018. I'm going to try real hard to be on it because it will be during the week of my birthday. My roommate was every impress with the attention she got for her birthday on this cruise. She stated you made her feel special.

hawaii

| hawaii
loved the ship and our trip would have enjoyed more recent movies that pertained to the age of the passengers on the ship...didn't have a variety of movies.. evening entertainment was lacking

abc

| Alaska
Vectoria Garden excursion timing (8 pm) at night was ridiculous since it was dark and can't see the garden! The excursion at that time should be with 75% discount or at least with a warning that we are going to miss the garden.

Ship and Itineary

| Nassau, Princess Cays, Grand Turk
The cruise was great. We loved Princess Cays and Grand Turk. We also visited Atlantis on Paradise Island on our stopover in Nassau. What a place! The ship was really nice. Aside from having a wonderful time, the only thing that we didn't like was that the cruise director never said what was going on. We did have the Princess Patter, but on past cruises the cruise director kept everyone informed as to what was going on at different times of the day. We had to carry the Patter so we would keep checking on things to do. Aside from this minor thing we really enjoyed everything else on the ship and stopovers.

Alaska Cruise

| Skagway/Juneau/Ketchikan/Vancouver
It was a blast!!!

Excellent service

| Alaska
There's a lot to say about the Ruby... -I traveled with my handicap mother and they treated her like a queen. They assisted me with every need she had. -They were so helpful - had itineraries for the day, assisted in checking in at the airport, assisted with anything and everything. - My one suggestion would be to have the food labeled gluten free. I had to ask a lot of questions about the food - the only thing that was labeled was the deserts.

Beautiful Trip

| Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, Cabo San Lucas
The Ruby Princess is one of the most beautiful ships I've ever sailed on. The staff was great and the locations we visited in Mexico were all beautiful as well. I only wish there were more dairy alternatives available (ie, almond milk, coconut milk, coffee creamer substitute, etc).

Ruby Princess - Inside passage with Glacier Bay

| Alaska, British Columbia
Loved the nature talks with local professionals. It was very interesting to hear first hand information about living in Alaska.

Our Four Back to Back Cruises!

| Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas
We believe the Any Time Dining issue was due to the new Club Class that Princess is trying out on the Ruby. Unfortunately due to the fact they blocked off a large number of tables in the dining room for the suite and mini-suite passengers the rest of us had long wait lines into dinner. There were not that many suite guests using the Club Class option for dinner and we could see many empty tables while the rest of us had to wait to get seated.........it is not working!

Wonderful cruise!!!

| California coastal
Our wait staff was exceptional!!! The food was wonderful!! My cabin steward was great!! My cabin was always refreshed. The bed and pillows were unbelievable!!!! Usually on vacation, I can't wait to get home to my own bed, but not this time!!!! That bed will keep me coming back!!! The ship was always spotless and the staff were great. Morris-Murdock, especially our hosts Kim and Holly, were terrific!! A very enjoyable trip!!!

Expected more

| Alaska
Staff was for the most part friendly, Food was good, ship is very dated in fact maintenance had to be performed in our children’s room next to ours they did upgrade the kids to a mini suite and told us since we wanted to be next to them they would try to get us moved so we could all be together, but the staff never followed thru with keeping our family together. Elevators need to be programmed to accommodate the crowds demand. There was a good variety of food but not anytime, hours vary. Entertainment was mostly comedy which was good we just expected more. The coffee at the coffee bar of which we drink mostly white mochas tasted like water and foam every time we tried it. It was constantly bad. I will go on another cruise because of the spectacular views and the different ports of call were very nice. It will most likely be on a different ship so I can truly rate the experience.

Outstanding Journey

| Mexican Rivera
Awesome experience. Very well organized. Wonderful experience. All the staff was wonderful.

Good Cruise

| Alaska & Canada
Overall a good cruise. I was a little surprised to see where the staff hardly went the extra mile to make memorable service experiences. Three employees were exceptional and I was extremely grateful for them!

public areas

| Hawaii
Public areas were too crowded, specialy the Princess Theater which filled up too early for the first seating dinners.

Alaska

| Alaska
Love and will be going back one day

service

| San Francisco, San Diego, Ensenada
The bar service was not very good, waiters kept getting order wrong. Seemed like they were new people.

Cruise Review

| (Western Caribbean) Mexico, Honduras, Grand Cayman
Thought the service was very good. Very attentive wait staff. Could have had more dinner selections in dining room, but all in all the food was good.

Unexpected but Great!

| Cabo San Lucas
My wife and I expected nothing special on a 5 day cruise, but boy! Were we surprised! And in a good way! Everywhere we went, every venue, every event, the staff was warm and friendly, so passionate and so caring! We are long time Royal Caribbean cruisers, (currently Diamond Plus), but it is important to note that we have now switched our loyalty to Princess. Why? That's easy! Princess cares! All of their passengers are treated so warmly, so respectfully. They go about their jobs with passion and energy. Unlike our last 3 Royal cruises where my wife and I agreed, they were just going through the motions. It was a sheer joy to be with this company and their staff!

dining room service was very slow and room service was error ridden

California coastal cruise

| California coastal cruise & Ensenada
Will never do inside cabin again--thought as this was our 5th cruise we would get on board credits

Help, don't understand

| Alaska
It truly was the vacation that everyone should experience in there life. It was even better than I had expected.

Great trip

| caribbean
Ship could use a little "face-lift"

Girlfriend Reunion

| Cabo San Lucas
Overall great time.

Excellent service and experience

| Alaska
never felt at home always felt like I was being spoiled to every degree. Food, entertainment, staff, ports and everything else was special.

loved this cruise!

| Alaska
We went to Alaska in a club class mini suite..... it was great. I would recommend this to everyone. We had a wonderful wait staff in Dining room and I can't think of a single thing that I was not happy with that Princess could have any control over. They were wonderful and we will travel with them again,

Ruby Princess August 2015

| Ketchkan, Tracy Arm, Juneau, Skagway and Victoria.
The room steward, head and assistant waiter were very good. I just thought the choices didn't seem to me to be as good as the last Princess cruise. Food quality was good. Disembarkation was as good as it could be considering a full ship and another (Holland America along side with bags separated only by a walk way. Stop in Victoria only 4 hours..mandatory yet why not longer to enjoy that beautiful port.

cruise

| canda
They quarantine my friend for having a upset stomach.

Mexico

| Mexico
Princess offers a drink card for soda, why not a drink card for water?

Great First Cruise!

| Grand Cayman, Cozumel
This was our first cruise and it was a wonderful experience! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. We took our two teenage sons and they had plenty of activities to keep them busy. The excursions were wonderful as well.

WONDERFUL

| Mexico
what a great time

Alaska

| Katichan juneau skagway
Had a great time and loved Alaska. Very disappointed at missing the Tracy arms glacier. Was first reason to go to Alaska. Had fantastic staff and services

Memories of a lifetime

| Alaska
Wonderful trip will do it again!!! Great options for port activities.

A GEM OF A SHIP TO ALASKA

| Alaska inside passage
The staff was very accommodating, personable and efficient. Cabins were comfortable. New mattresses are like being at home. A good night's sleep makes a big difference. Flexibility in dining.

Alaska cruise with Ruby Princess

| Juneau, Skagsway, Glaser Bay, Ketachan
Michael Gonzales or Hernandes can't remember but was always at our beck and call and always reminding us of what was happening. Did a great job for us in room R505. We'll forever remember the good times we had and highly recommend Ruby Princess!

Cruise Experience

| Princess Cays, St Martin, St Thomas, Nassau
From the time that I met at the designated place for disembarkment til I was on the bus to the airport was a total of 20 minutes. The entire process was well thought out and organized.

My experience on the Ruby Princess

| Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
On the most part, the food was enjoyable. But, I felt the breakfast pastries were stale and limited. I was hoping to have a fresh big cinnamon bun or an apple fritter.

Alaska Cruise

| Alaska

Had Some Problems

| Hawaii
A problem with sewage on a couple of days and the smell was horrible on the 15th deck while we were trying to eat and trying to swim or watch movie under the stars. Food menus have changed, no large shrimp cocktails or lobster. Not a lot of variety in the choices.

Ruby Princess March Pacific Coast

| Pacific Coast
I gave the ports a 4-star because due to high winds and rough seas we were unable to port in Monterey, the port I most wanted to venture into. But, on the good side, we sailed on to San Diego and were in port a half day extra, so I did finally get to tour the Midway which had been on my bucket list.

North to Alaska

| Alaska
Don't over schedule your shore excursions, spend some time walking around the towns and visiting with the locals. The jewelry promotions were a little annoying but not bad. Prices in the gift shops on the ship and in port were actually very reasonable. In many cases the items were less expensive than they are at home. We would take this cruise again in a heartbeat.

Cruise to Hawaii

| Hawaii
Overall trip was excellent! Crew well organized and very professional. Food exceptional for serving over 3,000 people!

CRUISE EXPERIENCE ON THE RUBY

| MEXICAN RIVIERA
This was the best ship I have ever sailed on spectacular shows and a casino that actually paid off (a rare item on cruise ships). The service was unbelievably good. My next cruise will definitely be on Princess!

Mixed Review

| Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas
Overall good cruise, however, my comments above prevented giving a higher overall rating.

7 day Mexican Riviera Cruise

| Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, Cabo San Lucas
We had a great cruise on the Ruby Princess. All the staff was super friendly and went out of their way to help you. We highly recommend the Crooners Bar, the 2 bartenders Ruben & Bruce are top notch!!

4 Day Cruise aboard Ruby Princess

| Santa Barbara / Encinada
The entire family (16 people ) had a blast at this short cruise that we had. We had a good bonding time and everybody was happy and satisfied. For the new cruiser like my cousin in San Diego they said it exceeded their expectations.
