  • Special Dietary Needs - Advance Notice Required - Princess is happy to meet your request for low-sodium, low-fat, low-sugar, and vegetarian diets. Guests may visit Cruise Personalizer? on the Princess website (https://book.princess.com/cruisepersonalizer/) to indicate dietary preferences.

In addition, kosher meals and baby food are available upon advance written request. Any other special diet requests must be authorized in advance by the Princess corporate office.

Guests or their travel agent must advise Princess, in writing, of any special diet, allergies, or medical needs. Requests must be received no later than 35 days prior to departure for cruises to Alaska, Canada/New England, Caribbean, Hawaii, Mexico, Panama Canal and Coastal Getaways. For all other cruises, requests must be received no later than 65 days prior to departure. Once onboard, please check with the Maitre D' to confirm the request.

  • Internet Access - Internet access is available on all Princess vessels through the 24-hour onboard internet caf? and wireless network, which is available in staterooms and various public areas.

Guests can use the state-of-the-art computer systems located in the internet caf? to access their web-based email accounts or to browse the internet. Guests may also use their own wireless-enabled laptops to access the internet through the onboard wireless network.

Guests may contact the Internet Caf? Manager onboard for information regarding the charges that apply to internet and wireless services, and any other specific requirements.

Please note that internet access via satellite is significantly slower than high-speed connections on shore. Princess reserves the right to filter content accessed via the ship's internet services. High bandwidth consuming applications - such as voice over IP telephony, peer-to-peer file sharing, and streaming media - may be restricted onboard Princess vessels.

  • Medical Emergencies - The shipboard medical centers are primarily intended to provide acute care for illness and accidents that may occur while on vacation and are not intended to provide long-term care for patients with chronic illnesses or as a substitute for regular health care.

The medical centers are intended to provide quality maritime medical care for guests and crew members aboard the ships; initiate appropriate stabilization, diagnostic and therapeutic maneuvers for critically ill or mentally unstable patients; support, comfort and care for patients onboard; and facilitate the timely medical evacuation of patients, if appropriate.

Charges for medical services will be added to guests' shipboard account. Guests will be provided with an itemized account to submit to their insurance company. Please note that Princess ships are registered in Bermuda. Guests should verify with their insurer if coverage applies outside the United States, or purchase appropriate travel insurance.

  • Pregnancy Policy - Pregnant women entering the 24th week of pregnancy by the last day of the cruise are not allowed to sail.

All pregnant women are required to produce a physician?s letter stating that mother and baby are in good health, fit to travel and the pregnancy is not high-risk. The letter must also include the estimated date of delivery (EDD) calculated from both Last Menstrual Period (LMP) and ultrasound (if performed).

It is strongly recommend that pregnant guests review their health insurance coverage before cruising. Many policies, including Medicare, will not pay for services or hospitalization outside of the country or for emergency evacuation.

Guests may want to consider Princess Vacation Protection, which is available for purchase up to the time of final payment of the cruise fare. If the guest did not secure Princess Vacation Protection, it is recommended that they secure other travel protection.

  • Smoking Policy - Keeping the comfort of guests a priority, Princess has implemented the following smoking policy:

    Designated Smoking Areas
Clearly marked "Designated Smoking Areas" are available onboard and include a sufficient number of ashtrays that are emptied regularly. Generally, these areas include cigar lounges, a section of the nightclub and casino, as well as a portion of the open decks. As a safety precaution, passengers are reminded to properly dispose of cigarettes, cigars and pipe tobacco, which are never to be thrown overboard as this may be sucked back into the ship and cause fires.

    Stateroom Smoking Policy
Smoking is prohibited in all passenger staterooms and on stateroom balconies. Violations to this policy will result in a $250 fine for each occurrence, which will be charged to the guest's stateroom account.

    Electronic Cigarettes
The use of electronic cigarettes is permitted in all areas onboard with the exception of dining areas and the Princess Theater. However, should a fellow guest in the vicinity feel inconvenienced and complain, even after being told the difference between electronic and real cigarettes, the guest will be asked to refrain from smoking the electronic cigarette.

  • Wheelchair Access & Special Needs - Princess makes every effort to accommodate guests with disabilities. Guests can ensure a successful trip by working with them in advance. Guests or their travel agents should notify Princess of wheelchair usage, special needs, and/or service animals before the voyage. Notices and requests must be made in writing and faxed to the Princess Access office at 661-284-4408 at least 30 days prior to sailing. For answers to any questions about the program, please call the Princess Access office at 661-284-4521.

All Princess ships have wheelchair-accessible staterooms, but it is highly recommended that guests bring collapsible wheelchairs, as the widths of the stateroom doors vary. Guests may bring their own, or they can pre-reserve a wheelchair and have it and other medical equipment delivered to the ship by contacting Special Needs at Sea at 800-513-4515 (outside the US 954-585-0575), or by visiting Special Needs at Sea's website (http://www.specialneedsatsea.com/). Alternatively, guests may contact CareVacations at 877-478-7827 or cruiseshipassist.com. Some areas on some ships are not wheelchair accessible.

Passengers utilizing mobility devices with batteries are advised that the batteries must be a dry cell type, and must be stored and recharged in the stateroom. Mobility devices of any kind, like any other items, may not be left outside the stateroom. Because of staffing limitations, it is recommended that guests travel with a companion who is physically able to assist them both onboard and onshore.

Travelers with disabilities should check in with the onboard Tour Office to ensure all shore excursions can accommodate them. Not all port facilities are accessible for those using mobility devices. Ports may be accessed by a variety of methods including a ramped gangway, a series of steps or by tender. In some cases, you may be able to access the tender, but the shoreside facility will not be accessible. Many ports of call use a mechanism known as a ?stair climber? to assist passengers up and down the gangway. Passengers must transfer to a Princess wheelchair, which is connected to the stair climber and operated by the ship?s personnel. Guests may be precluded from going ashore if they cannot transfer or if their personal mobility device cannot be easily disembarked. With the safety and comfort of guests in mind, the decision to permit or prohibit passengers from going ashore will be made on each occasion by the ship?s Captain, and the decision will be final. Ports that normally use tenders to access the shore are noted on the itinerary.

The maximum weight of the wheelchair including guest cannot exceed 600 lbs. on transportation lifts. If the guests has purchased a Princess Transfer at the start or end of the cruise, they must be made aware that lift-equipped transportation may not be available in their port of embarkation or disembarkation.

    Tender Port Policy
The goal of Princess Cruises is to provide a safe comfortable cruise experience for all guests. If a guest will be using a mobility device during their sailing, it is strongly recommended that they travel with a person physically fit to assist with the guest's needs both onboard and ashore. Embarking and disembarking can be challenging for those with limited mobility. Many major ports of call provide easy access for wheelchairs and scooters. However, due to various conditions - steepness of the gangway, weather, shore-side facilities, tidal and sea conditions - passengers using mobility devices may be required to transfer to a stair climber or be precluded from going ashore. Princess staff will make every effort to assist but are not allowed to individually physically lift more than 50 pounds (22 kg).

Some ports of call require the ship to anchor off shore. Passengers are then taken to shore by small boats or tenders. When tendering is required, passengers using mobility devices will not be transferred into or out of the tender, if lifting in excess of the above limitation is required. Many tender ports do not provide wheelchair access so even if the passenger can board the tender they may not be able to disembark ashore. Again the shore-side facilities, movement of the tender, weather and tidal conditions can also preclude tendering.

The decision to allow any passenger to board a tender or disembark the vessel will be made by the Captain on the basis of the safety and welfare of all involved and is final. If passengers are unable to tender or disembark because of circumstances outlined above there will be no refund or credit for missed ports. While Princess recognizes guests' disappointment, the safety of both guests and crew takes precedence.

Entry regulations for service animals vary by port. Passengers are advised to consult authorities at each port prior to departure for more information. Princess does not have food onboard for animals. The choice of dog litter material is limited and varies by ship.

    Electronic Assistance Devices
Princess ships are equipped with ?All-in-One Kits? with TTY that can be used in most passenger cabins and at Princess wilderness lodges. Most televisions onboard provide closed captioning and most onboard theaters have assisted listening devices. Electric outlets in most staterooms are limited to one and it is helpful to travel with an extension cord for electrical equipment. Princess also offers JAWS Professional software with a KOSS-TD/80 headset on one terminal in each Internet Caf? on every ship.

Cruise was enjoyed by one and all in our group.

Everybody was very well trained and professional. All smiles and courteous and promptly responded to my every requests. Truly top notch services. I will return for another cruise when I need one.

Panama Canal

| Panama Canal
There were a lot of people on board that had colds and coughs. While everyone seemed good about washing their hands and using the hand sanitizer we never once saw any crew member wiping off the the hand rails on the stair way or the railings in front of the elevator. Would seem to me that this might be a good step in helping to prevent the spread of germs. This was our fourth cruise with Princess and again we found that all the crew members were friendly and very helpful. We did miss the television channel that continually ran The Love Boat shows

Island princess

It was so well organized. No surprises.

Amazing Alaska Vacation

| Fairbanks, Denali National Park, Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan
We were fortunate to have exceptional weather in Alaska during our stay, allowing us to see Northern Lights and Denali multiple times. Both of the lodges in Denali were well placed for excursions and comfortable. We booked Club Class mini-suites and would do it again for the ammenities, staff, food and service. The new beds in Club Class are wonderful! The Island Princess is showing her age but still provided all the comforts you would expect. The dining rooms were beautiful, had great food and great staff - highly recommend them over the buffet when possible. The Wheelhouse is the best lounge on the ship for drinks, staff and entertainment. I would encourage Princess to update the bathrooms when possible because the tub is too narrow and the shower is too low.

Elegant ship

| Panama Canal
The ship had to have been one of the most comfortable in the fleet, until they redesigned it to add more cabins. Venues seem to be out of place now, and the gym has no more windows, making it feel like a dungeon. Unless one pays for use of the Sanctuary, there is no way look out over the stern of the ship, which is a big negative while going through the Panama Canal locks. The theater is the only large meeting place, which makes the ship feel crammed, especially during disembarkation when everyone has to be out of their cabins. The ship must have left the last dry dock in a hurry, because it seems to have pervasive problems with disconnected plumbing. There were quite a few hallways along the cabins, where there was a strong sewage odor. Water was leaking out from under the cabinets in our suite, leaving a foul odor and forcing us to leave the balcony door open 24/7. Foul-smelling liquid was also dripping, sometimes gushing, from the ceilings in the hallways. The first thing one saw after logging onto the internet was Google, Italy. Any keyword search went directly to Wikipedia, Italy. It took several minutes to change the language to English. The Indian IT guys were clueless ... that Italian thing must have been going on for a while. The food quality and selection at Sabatini's was not nearly as good as the ones at the restaurants or at the Horizon Court. Each day, the same boring Sabatini menu, limited pastry selection, and watery Cappuccinos, while the Horizon Court served a cornucopia of goodies, including Dresden Christmas Stollen ... Wow! The same goes for the Platinum/Elite cocktail hour. There was a better one for all of the passengers at 3 PM. So, no need to upgrade for the alleged benefits. The itinerary was disappointing. Puntarenas and San Juan del Sur were miserable abominations. Between Costa Rica and LA were two stops and five sea days. They should stop in Puerto Vallarta and bypass open-air-landfill Nicaragua. The greatest asset of the ship was the Captain. He was the most outgoing officer we have yet encountered. He came by the dinner tables twice and made himself visible throughout the cruise. His communication skills were second to none.

we had mostly good weather, so this helped greatly in our enjoyment of this alaska trip.

Great holiday trip on the Island Princess

| Mexico, Nicaragua,Costa Rica, Panama Canal, Cartagena, Grand Cayman, Ft. Lauderdale
We met some wonderful people, both crew and passengers. The Christmas celebration was filled with fun and warmth. Santa made a special appearance on Christmas eve by climbing down a smoke stack. New Years was marred by some bad weather but all the celebrations were quickly moved indoors and enjoyed by many. Had a great time!

Island Princess - Panama Canal

| Panama Canal
Everything was first class, even tho the ship itself is starting to show its age. The evening entertainment was spectacular as was the food and service. We had one disappointing shore excursion but the remainder of the trip was relaxing and enjoyable. Your bus service was much appreciated as there was no transferring to airports, etc. However, I think the bus trip itself could have used some excitement or entertainment. How about a movie while enroute? Or some games...anything to break the monotony of watching cactus and wind farms. (Just a suggestion.)

Island Princess

| Great places... Loved Panama, we must return!
We have cruised with Princess for years (4 cruises in the last year!) the ship is smaller than we are used to because of it's Panamax designation (built to be the largest which can pass through the Panama Canal) so, for us, it took a little time to find places.

Best Cruise Ever

Great cruise. Everything was fabulous. Food was great, service was great. Every staff member was wonderful. We had a really fun and memorable time.

Wonderful cruise otherwise.

Panama Canal Cruise

| Aruba, Colombia, Panama Canal, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Mexico
A few of the tours were cut short because the guides were late picking us up. One of the activities from the spa was cancelled because of illness, but the staff didn't inform us until we had waited around for over 25 minutes.

Great weekend getaway.

| Cozumel
Getting on and off the ship was well organized. Fast and efficient.  Had a great time. A much needed rest. It's always fun traveling with you and friends.

Island Princess Transatlantic cruise

| transatlantic to Madeira, Barcelona, Rome, Naples, Venice
We had a great time. How can any cruise be bad. Saw lots of good movies, enjoyed relaxing on our balcony, beautiful days at sea and interesting places on shore. Life is good on a cruise.

Traveling on Princess

| Alaska inside passage, Denali National Park, Mt. Mckinly Wilderness Lodge
Loved Princess and will cruise with them again

Island Princess

| Panama Canal
The ports of call were excellent along with the tours. First class and met our needs.

80th birthday cruise

| Los Angeles
Very happy with the organization and speed of check-in in Vancouver! Enjoyed the cruise very much and the special birthday dessert for Mom. Enough already with the spa/artwork/etc. upselling and junky jewelry "deals". Also, too bad that the promenade deck doesn't allow you to go completely around the stern: you have to walk through the interior to keep going! My mother was agitated when she couldn't find cribbage pegs in the library to play her favorite card game (not a drinker, gambler, or stage show fan).

Alaska Cruising

Staff was really nice, would like to have more current day music in the lounges.

Very Nice Itinerary

| Alaska southbound from Whittier to Vancouver
enjoyed cruise itinerary because Alaska is a beautiful and somewhat exotic location. staff was very helpful, and there was a good ratio of staff to passengers. this was the first time I was in Alaska, and would recommend the land portion as an add-on to simply cruising because it provides a well-rounded picture of Alaska.

Big kuddos to Joey and Charles (Assistant Waiter and Waiter) in the Bourdeau Dining Room. Their service was impeccable!!!! Truly made our trip!

Love the Princess Line

| Panama Canal
The Island Princess is smaller than many ships, but we were able to go through the Panama Canal locks which was amazing. Also, we met more people than we would have on a larger ship. Most of the passengers were retirees, maybe because the cruise was 10 days long during the school year. The entertainment was outstanding!

Awesome

| Alaskan cruise from Whittier to Vancouver through the inside passage.
Rain and fog everyday, but a welcome change from Arizona. Would love to have seen a whale, and although some passengers did, we were always on the 'wrong' side of the ship. Our cabin attendant, Constantine, was friendly, accommodating, and readily available, even providing a few extras. Alaska is absolutely unparalleled in beauty. We were surprised at the number of islands along our trip, and all the villages scattered among the trees were enchanting. We would go back in a heartbeat!

Princess Cruises and Alaska--it couldn't get better

| Fairbanks, Denali, Skagway, Juenau, Kitchecan, Vancouver
The inland tour and the cruise to Alaska was out of this world. Alaska is a beautiful state, people are friendly. Princess did an outstanding job of coordinating everyone's itineraries, rooms, luggage. The hotels we stayed in at Fairbanks, Denali and Vancouver were great. Service and food on the ship were A-one!!!

Alaska Inner Passage

| Alaska
Overall this trip was an "A", Princess took care of everything and ship's personnel were quite a joy to be with. An improvement is needed in food during Conniseur (?) welcome breakfast, Riverboat lunch and Denali Dinner theatre.

Island Princess is ok, go with low expectations

| Cartagena, Panama Canal, limon Costa Rica, grand Cayman
We did the Panama Canal and Caribbean 10 day cruise out of Ft Lauderdale. The itinerary was great. Service was mediocre, it was slow and many times it felt like you were a nuisance to the crew. There was not a large variety of activities, unless you want to shop or participate in some form of gambling. Seems like they expect passengers to just be at the pool, baking in the sun or drinking alcohol. There is no movie theater, just on TV or a few times on the big screen on lido deck. The comedians were funny. There was limited stage shows and they aren't bad, but more music based. Voice of the Ocean is horrible. Balcony room was good size, but showers are small. Food quality was average, as well the selection. Pizza was really good. There is no fresh food option in the atrium like on Star Princess nor was there a terrace pool.

Great Customer Service

Arthur, our room steward was awesome along with Michael J and Nikki in the Provence dining room who made our experience unforgettable. Thank you for all you did for us! Excursions were coordinated well.

Alaska Land and sea tour

| Fairbanks, Denali , Mckinley , Skagway , Glacier bay , Juneau , Katchikin , Vancouver
Have always wanted to see Alaska and the land and sea tour seemed the best way to go .

Superb

| Alaska
Our entire trip from beginning to end was outstanding. It was nice to see how things were done o time, when scheduled. Enjoyed all the special meals we had and 1st dining was perfect time of dining for us - All meals and desserts were extraordinary. The entertainment was good and family friendly which makes it very nice to attend. Really enjoyed Libby's talk about how she became the first women to win the Alaskan Dog Race. In fact we enjoyed all the educational talks and learned a lot. Everything was well planned out and every moment enjoyed. We have been on many other cruises and would rate Princess the best - they take care of you 1st class from beginning to end. You will not go wrong booking with them.

Wonderful Panama Canal cruise

| Ft Lauderdale through panama canal to SF
Really enjoyed ports, especially Canal crossing, Aruba, and Cabo. The cabin steward was excellent!! Loved the Art Auctions :)

Happy Cruiser

| Alaska
Princess Cruises took great care of us in every way. The Island Princess was like a floating resort.

Good, but not great

| Alaska
Food available almost all the time was adequate, while food in regular dining rooms was much better. But tiny "king crab" legs looked more like crab fingers. Service was excellent throughout (except the one time we ordered room service and hot water was brought without the tea bags). Very enjoyable port calls. Princess' logistics organization was outstanding. Billing was less than adequate: manager assured me that an incorrect double charge would be removed w/i a day; it wasn't (and was on my final checkout statement). That charge was small, but convinced me to not sail with Princess again. Also, we were a party of eight and five of us got somewhat ill after a very long train ride from the ship to the Princess lodging during which everyone on the train car complained about how very cold it was.

Panama Canal Experience

| Cabo, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Columbia, Aruba
Nicaragua excursion left a bad taste. Lack of toiletries. No information about that provided by Princess. Should have had more time in Aruba. Costa Rica was nice. Panama Canal was really wonderful. Good experience.

ALASKA, Cruise and Land Vacation Sept. 2016

| Alaska, with several stops in towns and cities along the Inland Passage.
I think I said enough above. I'd highly recommend this trip to everyone who would like to see and hear all about the fabulous outback of the real North country. The beauty of Alaska is beyond belief. Monica, you could not have put together a better trip package for us. Thank You, Mike Wallace.

MIXED BAG

| PANAMA CANAL
THE SHIP GOES IN FOR REFURBISHMENT IN FEBRUARY. SEVERAL TOILETS DIDN'T WORK IN SOME PUBLIC RESTROOMS. SOME FURNITURE IN THE STATEROOMS SHOWED MUCH WEAR. HOWEVER, I WOULD GO AGAIN TOMORROW, IN A HEARTBEAT.

Alaska 2017

| Alaska
Overall the trip was great, we had misty cold weather except for last day so we were unable to enjoy what was out on decks (movie nights, pools, games, etc). Very little to do indoors besides drink and eat.

Christmas cruise

| Panama Canal,Limon Costa Rica,Cartegna Columbia,Aruba
We learned that the Island Princess is going into drydock for remodeling. The sooner the better. Power problems i.e (lights went out during dinner) and leaking water in the staterooms and hallways created discomfort for some passengers. Lots of wear and tear in some parts of the ship.

Inside Passage Cruises

| Alaska, the inside passage
Deepak Naik and William Roddrigues were amazing waiters! Fun, friendly and so knowledgeable. Amazing qualities especially since they all work such long hours. They were great! Loved everything about the cruise.

Alaska Cruise

| Alaska
Would have liked updated map of itinerary similar to what Holland America has. Enjoyed the naturalist talks and commentary on board. Make the library and quiet space larger. Stateroom steward was excellent.

Great Cruise

| Panama Canal
Just returned home very satisfied after the cruise. Time to look forward to next years cruise.

We love this ship

| Jamaica, Cartagena, Panama Canal, Grand Cayman, Costa Rica
This was our second cruise on Island Princess and we loved it! I love the classic woods and muted colors which reminds me of the glamorous ships of previous times. I also like the size of the ship--like the three bears--just right! The service was very good, our balcony was large and mostly shaded all day. The internet worked very well and the food was quite good although we were disappointed in Sabatini's. We would like a wine bar and a patisserie that provides more than coffee. We miss the sandwiches and pastries found in the one on the larger ships.

Alaska Cruise and Land Tour

| Alaska
Pros: Overall it was great. Of special note are the staff. They were wonderful. Can't remember all the names. Jose was our steward and he was excellent. Everyone else went above and beyond. It was a pleasure. Also, it was nice to have no smoking gambling night...we don't gamble much...but ventured in when there was no smoking. Pro: Organization...Princess has it down....organized from boarding, disembarking, land tours, etc. It was great. Cons: No College football coverage. My husband loves football and the seasoned opened while we were on the cruise. It would have been good to have ESPN, etc. Laundry: It was wonderful to have it on each deck. However, the coin machine on Aloha deck did not work. Then, when I went downstairs to the other one...my card did not work. The first time my steward (Jose) brought us tokens. The second time I had to call guest services who seems a little annoyed that I needed them and said I would have to come down to get them. I told them that they had been delivered last time...so they said they would. I never received them. Annoying but not a major deal. Sales, Sales, Sales...you know...I don't need any jewelry, any perfume, clothes, etc. And, the massage that I got was wonderful...but I did not need a sales pitch there either. I understand you need to make money but the pressure to buy, buy, buy, buy, buy was a little much. I would rather have more educational things or even dorky things that you used to have (so I have heard)...classes in napkin folding is the one I remember...which is a little dorky...but would be fun. I would also like more info on how you manage to make it all work......from food, to supplying the ship, turning it around in one day (we get off and another group gets on), refueling, etc. I missed the kitchen tour...was having a massage. Mixed: We signed up for fixed dining..at 5:15. It was just too early and so we only made it once. I should have signed up for anytime dining. We did not even check to see if we could have changed...probably could have...just didn't think about it. Mixed: Entertainment. The naturalist was good......would have liked more of that....

Our agent had many suggestions about our cruise and took a lot of time with us. She answered all our concerns and did a great job in taking care of us.

Grand Mediterranean Cruise

| Toulon, Florence, Rome, Naples, Mykonos, Istanbul, Kusadasi, Athens & Venice
We had a fantastic trip. The ports were great, the excursions wonderful, the food delicious, the shows well done, the help was professional, courteous & fun. Overall, it was an awesome trip.

15 Day Panama Canal Cruise

| Cabo San Lucas, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Columbia & Aruba
The port lectures were done by a man named Bill & he was very informative. We took some tours on our own & 2 off the ship & we were happy with all of them. The day going thru the canal was spectacular & Bill talked from 6:00 A.M to 6:00 P.M. It was wonderful. Wish we could have seen the monkeys but we did see lots of crocodiles on the river cruise in Costa Rica..We originally signed up for 5:45 dining with a table of 6 but when we arrived in the dining room they had us at a table of 10 & the time had changed to 5:15 P.M. which we couldn't change but they did change us to a table of 6 & we enjoyed our other 2 couples very much but we found 5:15 a little too early. All in all, a wonderful cruise.

Wonderful trip

| Panamal Canal
I would like to do this trip again in the future.

Panama Canal on the Island Princess

| Aruba, Colombia, Panama Canal, Costa Rica, Nicagargua, Mexico, LA
We had a great time on board. The crew were welcoming and friendly. Lots of options for things to do and places to go. The Panama Canal is amazing. So much to see and wonder at the technology developed 100 years ago.

Vancouver to San Francisco - Some Good, Some Bad

| Victoria BC, San Francisco, CA
The disembarkation was a nightmare. There did not seem to be any organization or thought on how to get people off the ship in an orderly manner. They gave you a time to leave the ship and ours was over two hours late. Older people were asked to sit on stools with no backs for several hours. They should have been taken to the theatre where the could have sat comfortably until called. We made a reservation at the Bayou Café for 9 people and it was accepted. We got there and they basically ignored us. We kept asking about our table and eventually left after waiting over 45 minutes. The staff at our table in the Provance Dining Room was superb. The were cheerful, helpful, professional and fun! Bene and Luis should be commended.

Excellent trip, except for not enough bathrooms in the princess theatre. With so many people the need for more bathrooms is imperative. Other than that the employees were very will trained. Enjoyed it very much.

A Great Trip

| Panama Canal
Felt overall population of passengers a little elderly. Entertainment was excellent. Very enjoyable cruise.

Cruise/Tour

| Alaska
6 nights tour - lodges are gorgeous. Food could have been better at a Fairbanks but others were very good. Interesting excursions. Cruise was all good. We liked having speakers come aboard like Libby Riddles, the first woman to win the Iditarod.

Alaskan land and cruise tour

| Boarded ship in Vancover, got off at Wittier. Went to Denali and Mt Mckinley and on to Anchorage.
Connections of flights were great. Hotel rooms were very good, except the room in Vancover the carpet was old and worn. Our room in Denali had paint peeling off the ceiling and the pillow case had blood all over it and the front desk wasn't concerned about it at all. Other than that everyone was very accommodating.

Good trip

| Alaska
Everything was good, no complaints except one. We like to dance and there weren't enough opportunities..Otherwise, food & service were excellent and ship was run very efficiently.

Island Princess was built to Panamax size – this means she can offer you the exclusive experience of sailing through the Panama Canal!   A high percentage of balcony staterooms give passengers the chance to view this feat of engineering up-close, or take in stunning views of spectacular glaciers during cruises to Alaska.  Featured on just one other Princess ship, the Bayou Café and Steakhouse is a unique dining venue onboard in which to enjoy authentic New Orleans cuisine accompanied by live jazz.
