3-day to Ensenada

If you book an inside cabin, bring an electric candle as the room is very dark.

Inside passage - Alaska

Staff was always very friendly and helpful. We liked the daily info that came to our cabin the night before. Wished that we had known more about the daily photos. We never seen a photographer until we left the ship on excursions.

Quicky Cruise

| Ensenada, Mexico
We wanted to take advantage of the little time we had to enjoy a cruise starting from close to home. We knew we would enjoy the food, entertainment, and service because we have cruised many times before. Fantastic value for the money!

RELAXING 10-day CRUISE :-)

| Mexico
We really enjoyed and appreciated our travel agent. We have traveled with Princess prior to this cruise, and liked the previous ships better. But then they may have been newer, or where we traveled made a difference. We really loved our location on this ship, as it worked perfectly for Mr. Harris' physical limitations. Every staff member made an effort for his/our every comfort. We wouldn't trade any of them for any others on other cruises we have been on before. We traveled to and from the departure dock in San Pedro via bus with nearly 100 other passengers: Way to go for us now days! and everyone so wonderful. Made for an extra good experience, even on the ship. George and I even learned a new game (Joker) because of the kind invitation of Laura and Sherrell. "Thank You both:-)

Dated Staterooms, but good service throughout the ship

| Alaska- Whittier, Glacier Bay, Skagway, Juneau and Kechikan.
We boarded the ship after 4 days of a land tour at Princess properties in Fairbanks & Denali. Boarding was uneventful and easily accomplished, but when we went to the buffet for dinner on the day we boarded, the food was not good. We learned that we anytime dining also allowed us to dine in Donatello's so we dined there almost exclusively for the remainder of the tour. We had great waiters named I. Made and I. Wayan from Indonesia. In our opinion, they saved the entire trip for us with great service. Our stateroom was very dated and the mattresses on the queen bed as well as the foldout couch and bunk were somewhat uncomfortable. The door to the balcony could not be secured (locked) at all. We had a fine cabin steward, and he assisted us several times in determining where we might need to go on board, for various activities. In looking over the side of the ship from my balcony, and from the 7th deck around the ship, there were a lot of spots where rust showed giving the ship an even more dated feel. It seems that only the common areas inside the ship had been remodeled in recent years.

Awesome experience. Disappointed in activities on board the ship.

Alaska golden princess

Would prefer some of the other lines for the aforementioned cons, but would use princess again if it fit the schedule and timing needs.

a wonderful 10 days

Had a wonderful time. Alaska was wonderful

Great Alaska Cruise and land package

| Alaska- Fairbanks, Denali, Mt. McKinley, Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan,Vancouver
We had a wonderful time. All the employees were exceptional both on land and cruise portion of trip. It was an amazing vacation.

Alaska Cruise

Excellent attention given by on board staff. Sodas and coffee should be included in what was paid for the cruise.

5408N - 28 days Hawaii-Tahiti

| Hawaii, Samoa, Polynesia
This was probably one of the finest cruises we have ever experienced. The ship, crew and every aspect were outstanding.

Came back renewed

| Whittier Alaska
I highly recommend this cruise and this cruiseline. What was promised was delivered and then some.

Princess Cruise to Alaska

| Alaska
Actually, the food in the buffet was better than in the dining rooms and specialty restaurants. Quite disappointing. The entertainment was average. The piano man on Deck 7 - Juan - was the best entertainment and we were lucky we found him.

Great trip!

| Vancouver and Victoria British Columbia; San Francisco CA
Had a fantastic time. This is our third trip with Princess and we will continue to use them. The TravelStore, out of Sacramento CA, along with Marta Day our travel planner, were awesome in their pre-travel preps. Kudos to all??

Cruise experts Alaska cruise tour

7 of us had a wonderful 2 weeks exploring Alaska. All the tours that our agent arranged for us were great. We had travelers ranging in ages 27 to 69 and we all had the best experience ever. Princess and my agent in cooperation made for a perfect pair. It helped that we had great weather. Highly recommend the last of May. Crowds are not huge no bugs and flowers were blooming. This was our second vacation with my agent's planning and there will be more!

Alaskan. Cruise

| alaska
Overall, we enjoyed the trip and the minor issues. We spoke to the cruise director, Billy London, after a fight broke out during an evening program a man was filming with a big iPad and disturbed a lot of people. The man should have been ejected, as he continued to be obnoxious. There was a lot of discourtesy in this manner.

Alaska Cruise

See above. Ship too big for my taste. Stopping in Haines was a waste of time. Felt we were short changed by only having a half day in Victoria.

Excellent on Food and Services by all the staff

| Alaska
We enjoyed our trip with the Golden Princess to Alaska. Wonderful weather, food was excellent, the evening shows were very professional and entertaining and the daily guide news Patter will keep you on tract. Stateroom was always neat and clean. Over all staff was great. We had a great time and we are coming back again.

Our Alaskan Cruise with Princess Cruise Lines

| Port of Call: Seattle w/destinations to Juneau, Skagway, Glacier Bay National Park, Ketchikan, Alaska and Victoria, BC
This was an amazing vacation from beginning to end. My wife and I were invited on this cruise by our friends in El Paso, TX. They put me in touch with their travel agent. What a godsend. Their travel agent attended to every detail of the trip and made the planning stage a walk in the park for us. We cannot thank her enough. As for Princess Cruises, I rate the ship and their services as top notch. Everything from their in-processing procedure to their disembarkation process went without a hitch. When we arrived at Port, Princess personnel were there to guide us every step of the way--no confusion whatsoever. The baggage handlers quickly took our bags, and we spent our short time in line chatting and laughing with other excited passengers. When we arrived to our stateroom, we were greeted by our cabin steward, who responded to our every whim. There was nothing for us to do but sit back, eat, drink, and be merry. The food was exceptionally delicious and beautifully displayed. The serving areas were always clean and the line flow was well managed by hosts/hostesses to avoid bottlenecks or congestions at the various stations. If children were in the lines unattended by a parent, a host/hostess was there to assist them. The tables were quickly clears as passenger finished their meal and the floors were kept free of food or debris. Cleanliness was a major factor for us, and it seemed to be with this cruise line as well. The cabin steward ensured that our living area and the bathroom, especially, was always kept neat and clean. The onboard entertainment was spectacular. Never once did we find ourselves wondering what to do while at sea. This cruise rates at the top of our "Best Vacations Ever" list. Kudos, kudos, kudos all around.

Trip of a Life Time

| Alaska/Canada
Super experience

July - Golden Princess

| Alaska
I hate to say this, but the Golden Princess should not be sailing in the condition it is in. The furniture/upholstery/bed mattresses all need to be replaced. The ship was very run down. We were unable to have the shore day in Victoria because the engines weren't running properly and we crawled back to Seattle. I took this trip with my two granddaughters as a graduation gift. I booked this cruise because it seemed the best value for the money....to summarize it - you get what you pay for.

Alaskan Cruise-inside passage

| Seattle, Juneau, Skagway, Ketchakan, Victoria
Beautiful ship. Enjoyed excursions. Connections at port always on time. We had beautiful, sunny and unusual warm days in Seattle, Juneau, Skagway and Victoria. one day of rain. Cruising is an easy way to vacation. Ships transfer to airport for return trip home handled very smoothly.

Excellent Ship

This was a wonderful cruise and a great trip! I highly recommend!

Trip to New Zealand. was wonderful.

Great overall experience

| Alaska
We enjoyed our recent cruise on the Golden. We had an inside cabin and it was actually very spacious. Our cabin steward was Marvin on Dolphin deck and he was awesome. We enjoyed the food and different bar areas, as well as the coffee bar on the fifth floor. The coffee card is a great deal and you can take it to other ships. We did the traditional seating and our service was ok. The combination of our two servers didn't work super well, so service was slow at times. This was no big deal for us but we had five kids in our party and that was troublesome at times. Overall, we really enjoyed the ship. The price was decent and we enjoyed the art auctions and trivia times.

Alaskan Cruise - Princess Cruiseline

| Seattle, Alaska, Victoria BC
We loved our vacation. Beautiful ports and sites in Alaska.

Alaska Cruise

| Skagway, Juneau & Ketchikan Alaska and Vancouver, Canada
Everything about the cruise was outstanding with the exception of the room size. We had an outside stateroom. The head of the bed was under the window which required climbing on the bed in order to look out the window. The king-size bed took up almost all of the floor space with one side being against the wall and barely 18" on the other. This necessitated one person climbing in bed from the foot end. A queen size bed would have fit the room much better. There was ample closet space. The bathroom was adequate but the shower was tight. The refrigerator was accessible only by moving one of the chairs out of the way. There was adequate drawer and shelf space for clothing storage. The safe was a nice feature for securing valuables.

Alaska Southeastern and inside passage cruising

| Hubbard Glacier, Glacier National Park, Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan, Vancouver
Watching whales, glaciers, glacier calving and bald eagles were the highlights of the tour. We did get to try many new experiences such as float rafting, float plane flying and our first time cracking crab legs from freshly caught Dungeness crab.

Relaxing and satisfying!

| Alaska
Since I recently retired, this was my first, "Off Season" cruise, and also my first cruise of more than 10 days. So relaxing! Such a nice, unhurried, unharried pace! And best of all, NO unruly, un-parented, undisciplined teenagers milling around and causing havoc ! First time I've experienced that, it and it was a pure joy! The Golden was refit in April, and it truly looks it with expanded room in the Horizon Cafe and other public areas. In the past 5 years, I've seen a marked decline in the quality of the food in the dining room, but not this time! It was outstanding! I've traveled on the Diamond, the Crown, the Ruby and now the Golden, and of those Princess ships, the Golden is my favorite!

San Francisco to Sydney, Australia

| Hawaii,Papeete,Bora Bora,Auckland,Wellington, Port Chalmers,Fiordland,Sydney
The ship's crew went out of their way to make sure that everything was in order and on time. The food was outstanding as well as the entertainment. One of the entertainment groups were not able to meet our ship because of weather issues, so singers, who were very talented, from the ship's crew filled in to make a very professional performance. The 4 stars rather than 5 in the entertainment section is not a reflection on the performers of the ship's crew. Captain Niccolo Bommarco and his crew, guided the ship around severe storm cells to make the cruise most enjoyable. We stayed 3 nights in Sydney after the cruise ended. Sydney is a beautiful and very busy city with many things to do.

Our vacation on Golden Princess

| Alaska-Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan, Glacier Bay and Victoria B.C. (Inner Passage)
Booked the cruise for my husbands 50th birthday. Had always been his dream. For me I wasn't so sure - I'm more of a warm weather fan. Now I would absolutely recommend this cruise to everyone. Pictures don't do it justice. Too beautiful to describe. It's a definite must take vacation.

Alaska

| Skagway. Juneau. Ketchikan. Denali. Fairbanks
Amazing that you don’t transport your own luggage from the time you get to the ship until you are at the airport to come home the logistics is mind boggling considering we were in 3 separate places for overnights after leaving the ship

Great experience

| Alaska
Nanci Browning, my travel agent was incredibly detailed in all the preparation, information, reminders and follow up - I will be recommending her to ALL my friends!

Golden Princess Land and Cruise Tour

| Hubbard Glacier, Glacier Bay, Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan
Great experience. Alaska sights are unbelievable. Princess Lodges are very well located and very scenic. Cruise ports were tremendous and get ship to sail on

Cruise to the Sea of Cortez

| San Diego, Cabo San Lucas, La Paz, Loretto and Puerto Vallarta
When I heard that the ship was to be re-fitted it seemed that it was about time. A wall panel fell down int the middle of the night. I told the young woman who was cleaning the room. She picked it up and pressed it back on the wall. we had to sleep, not knowing if it would come crashing down again. Not to relaxing!

"Alaska Inside Passage

| Juneau, Skagway, Glacier Bay, Ketchikan, Victoria, BC
The Inside Passage is a great way to see Alaska for your first time. The whale watching excursion in Juneau was like a having a front row seat in a National Geographic expedition. Just amazing watching the humpback whales during their "bubble net" feeding. The Golden Princess was a nice ship and it was very clean. The weather at the end of July is was just right. The seas were very calm for cruising.

Would do it all over again!

| Alaska
Our waiters were soooo pleasant and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. Dinner was one of the highlights of our day. Our room was seen to twice daily and was meticulously clean. We had been told that there would be limited space and storage in our room. So wrong. There was plenty of storage and plugs.

Amazing vacation!

| Alaska
This was an excellent choice for our family- 6 of us ranging from tween boys to grandparents. Plenty of options for activities to do together and separately. Rooms were surprisingly spacious, quiet, and SO CLEAN! The food was amazing, and overall this was the best service I’ve ever seen. The price tag was quite reasonable for this luxury experience!

Alaska; Trip of a life time!

| Alaska Inside Passage with Denali Land Tour
I would definitely recommend the sea/land tour if you are interested in visiting Denali during your Alaska cruise. We loved the ship. It was smaller in size which made it very easy to figure out the layout. The staff was very friendly. Customer service is obviously a priority. We had a cabin with a balcony which seemed larger than similar cabins on other cruise lines. I loved the large closet and room layout. The entertainment was very good with the exception of the comedian. I think he struggled to deliver material that was appropriate for the older crowd. The ports are very interesting and provide you with a great view of the inside passage. We bought the princess cruise companion book and map on the cruise. It would have been helpful to have the book when we were planning the cruise. The map was very helpful to track our progress up the passage as well as identifying areas to watch for wildlife. If you don’t get the book in advance make sure you purchase the map on Day 1 of the cruise as they sell out fast then you must buy the book in order to get the map. There was a naturalist on board and she did a great job narrating during the glacier bay and college fjord portions of the cruise pointing out wildlife along the way. We saw lots of whales and sea lions. The Captain did a great job in getting us as close as possible to the glaciers. The naturalist also conducted 4 separate educational presentations during the cruise providing information about glaciers, whales, wildlife, and The Denali National Park. I definitely recommend the 8 hour Wilderness Tour at Denali National Park over the 5 hour Natural History Tour. During our wilderness tour we saw a lot of additional wildlife that we would have missed on the shorter tour. The views are spectacular and the time flies by. Princess does an outstanding job transferring you from the ship to the train to the lodge. Everything is seamless. Bags are waiting in your room when you arrive. You don’t have to worry about lugging bags they do it all for you. You receive check in packages along the way with room keys and luggage tags. You always know where and when you need to be for your next activity/transfer.
