3 days at sea a bit much with limited amenities on ship. Crew and expedition guides were first rate. Cabin was huge. Meals were excellent, ports were very interesting.
Pros Professional expedition guides, huge cabin, excellent meals, quality staff

Excellent itinerary, superb service, excellent food, excellent naturalist and historian expedition staff. Our only criticism is that the ventilation on this ship is below par for truly customized control for one's cabin: it appeared that the ship turned off the air conditioning at 11 PM and didn't turn it on again until around 0730 AM which at this price point is ridiculous. Cabin butler and reception staff were as responsive on this issue at they could be, it appeared that the decision was being made at a centralized engineering level. Ship is to be refurbished in the Fall and to be put on charter next year once Silver Cloud becomes an expedition vessel so this may be a moot point in the long run.

Exciting expedition cruise across Bay of Bengal

12/2017 Phuket, Mergui archipelago of Myanmar, Andaman islands, 4 ports in Sri Lanka
    Full Review
Excellent expedition cruise to out of the way places. The ship's top speed is still quite slow. Ship is beginning to show its age - needs an overhaul. Very knowledgeable and friendly expedition guides. Informative, interesting lectures. Crew was outstanding. Huge cabin. Unfortunate that it landed several days in Sri Lanka.
Pros Service by crew, excellent expedition guides, interesting locales, wonderful food
Cons Ship is slow, lack of activities (other than lectures) during days at sea, too much trash on the beaches
