We are here. Made it fine! Florence is amazing! Rome wasn't quite our thing but Florence is slower paced, prettier and the hotel is OVER THE TOP!!!! Probably one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed in! They said the just opened last week! Its been redone top to bottom.
You can refer anyone to the St. Regis Florence. It is amazing! Just a regular room is almost like a suite, ornate, tons of detail, service wonderful, within walking distance to everything, on the Arno River. Perfect!
