Apple Vacations and sister company USA3000 Airlines celebrated the arrival of their one-millionth passenger to Punta Cana Oct. 19. Flight #102 from Philadelphia arrived at Punta Cana International Airport at 11 am full, with 168 passengers. While Apple Vacations could not identify the individual millionth client to Punta Cana, using passenger count projections, it was estimated that the one millionth passenger was among those on board Flight #102. As a result, USA3000 Airlines and Apple Vacations celebrated all passengers on board as the one-millionth to deplane into Punta Cana. Passengers on-board Flight #102 were greeted with the following: commemorative t-shirts; complimentary mimosas, in-flight meals and commemorative champagne splits; captain's wings for all children; water salute by the airport's fire trucks upon arrival at Punta Cana International; complimentary immigration cards; food and cocktail reception at Punta Cana International; and complimentary Outback Safari Excursion. Executives from Apple Vacations representatives from Amstar, the destination management division of Apple Vacations, as well as a Caribbean trio band, were present upon arrival welcoming the guests to the destination. Frank Rainieri, president of the Punta Cana International Airport, gave a short speech. For more information, visit www.all-travel.com/applevacations
