Day 1: Arrive London - Arrive in London and collect your bags. As you exit customs you will be met by a representative that will help you with your luggage and escort you to your hotel where you will stay for three nights. Feel free to use your Oyster Card to conveniently explore the United Kingdom's capital city by taking the tube. Just be sure to make your reservation at the London Eye.
LONDON EYE FAST TRACK - At 440 feet high, the London Eye is the world's tallest cantilevered observation wheel. During the graceful 30-minute flight, passengers have a view spanning up to 24 miles from their fully enclosed, state-of-the art glass capsules. By pre-booking the fast track ticket you will skip the line and maximize your time in London.
OYSTER CARD - The Visitor Oyster Card is an electronic card that allows travelers to store credit for pay-as-you-go travel on London public transit. The card automatically calculates the cheapest fare possible and stops deducting credit when a daily amount is reached. Your £10 card can be topped up with additional credit at Tube stations, Oyster Ticket Stops and London Travel Information Centers. Your Oyster card has been pre-activated so you can start using it as soon as you arrive.
Day 2: After breakfast you will be picked up at your hotel for an exciting tour of London. After a full day of sightseeing, you will be free to spend the evening dining & relaxing.
MAGIC OF LONDON TOUR - This full-day tour begins with a visit inside the Tower of London before it opens to the public. Then carry on to view the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, followed by a panoramic drive, a cruise on the River Thames and a photo stop outside Westminster Abbey. The afternoon begins with a unique visit inside St Paul's Cathedral, including unique access to the Whispering Gallery. The tour concludes in central London.
Day 3: On your last full day in the United Kingdom you will get a chance to explore the lush English countryside on a full-day tour to Windsor, Stonehenge and Bath. Upon your return to London make sure to stop into a local pub for a pint while you can.
WINDSOR, STONEHENGE, LACOCK AND BATH TOUR - Be amongst the first people to enter Windsor Castle; see the splendor f St. George's Chapel and the sumptuous State Apartments. Over 900 years of royal history are waiting for you at Windsor Castle, which is perched high above the River Thames just outside of London. After your visit to Windsor, you drive through Runnymede, where King John signed the Magna Carta. Then proceed to Stonehenge, the most famous prehistoric monument in the world and now a world heritage site. Lunch is included in the picturesque village of Lacock. Then proceed to Bath, a beautiful Georgian city with lovely crescents, terraces and architecture.
Day 4: Arrive Paris - After breakfast make your way to the St. Pancreas Train Station where you will board the Eurostar for Paris. You're traveling first class so sit back and take in the countryside as you enjoy your complimentary meal served right at your seat. Upon your arrival in Paris make your way to your hotel where you will spend three nights. After you check in, head over to the Hard Rock Cafe and pick up your 2-Day Paris Pass. Then you are free to relax and enjoy the City of Light.
Day 5: After an early breakfast make your way to The Louvre Museum for a guided group tour. Afterwards, you are free to explore on your own. This is a great time to activate your Paris Pass and take in the beautiful sculpture at the Rodin Museum or to visit the Cathedral of Notre Dame, which is widely considered the finest example of French Gothic architecture. Use the evening to savor exquisite Parisian cuisine and wine.
GUIDED VISIT OF THE LOUVRE MUSEUM - The famous Grand Louvre walking tour begins with a stroll through the commercial area of the Louvre Museum. The visit continues inside where your expert guide will escort you through several sections of the museum. This includes the medieval fortress, the modern pyramid, and the most reputed masterpieces, such as the "Mona Lisa" by Leonardo da Vinci. At the end of the tour you have the option to stay longer on your own should you desire.
Day 6: The morning is yours! After breakfast you can enjoy a stroll along the Seine, the magnificent view from atop the Eiffel Tower or the high-end shops on the Champs-Elysees. Your Paris Pass is also still active so feel free to visit other museums and monuments, such as the Orsay or Paris Fashion Museum's. This afternoon you will prepare dessert in a traditional French kitchen. Just this once, you can indulge in some French sweets before venturing out on your own for dinner.
DESSERT OR CHOCOLATE CLASS - For those with a sweet tooth, spend the afternoon learning to make two or three different dessert/chocolate specialties with your French hostess in her private home. You may get the chance to make pralines, rochers, truffes au chocolat or a mendiant. The session includes cooking, cafe, a tasting pause, and a takeaway bag filled with tasty chocolates souvenirs to bring home to family and friends
Day 7: After breakfast make sure your bags are packed and meet your private driver in the hotel lobby, who will help you with your luggage and escort you to the airport. Wave "Au revoir" to Paris as you fly back home, but don't worry it will be waiting for you when you come back.
