Physical Conditions, Precautions and Supervision
Club Med's policy with regards to sporting activities is based on specialized training of all G.O.s, regular information from departmental heads and teams. This strategy is the fruit of many years of experience at your service in the field of sport. You are strongly recommended to follow the safety rules and instructions given by G.O.s and displayed by the Resorts facilities' access. When being active, you must take into account, and not overestimate, your physical capacities (in particular where your muscles and heart are concerned). You must warm up beforehand and break it up with recovery stages. Don't wait until you are thirsty to have a drink and eat complex sugars beforehand (bread, pasta, rice, cereals etc.). Pain felt by an adult or child during exercise is a real warning signal which should lead to slowing down, changing or stopping the painful movement as soon as it appears.
Practicing sport involves being in good physical shape. In any case, doing sport involves accepting the risks intrinsic to the sport in question.
Club Med offers you off-site Club Med* activities in some Resorts. These activities are offered by independent suppliers with additional cost added to the Package price. Although some of these activities can, if need be, be booked at the time of booking and/or at the Resort itself (in particular at the Discovery Area of these Resorts), availability as well as sales conditions (in particular, the cost and cancellation of these activities) are those applied by the independent supplier in question. Transport to so-called off-site Club Med activities is provided by the independent suppliers.
