There will be a fee charged for all medical services and medications obtained on board. If a guest becomes ill during the cruise and the physician is unable to care for your needs onboard, the guest will be transferred to medical facilities on shore. Uniworld recommends travelers obtain appropriate insurance that will provide them with medical and emergency evacuation coverage while traveling abroad.
