best trip ever

| Danube River
Every one on board wanted to make sure we enjoyed the trip. Every one on board helped to make that happen. I even saw the Captain help with luggage the last day.

Danube Discovery

| Prague to Vienna
Lovely trip. Accommodations were excellent, service excellent, itineraries excellent - all was excellent. We would highly recommend Uniworld and the crew of River Ambassador.

European River Boat Cruise

| Basel, Switzerland to Strasbourg, France to Nurenburg, Germany, with numersous German stops in between
We were pleasantly surprised by the organizations caring and oversight. The small # of passengers also allowed more intimate relationships with other passengers and the crew. Everything was handled in a top-notch fashion.

Great Ship, Even Greater people

| Prague, Nuremberg, Regensburg, Passau, Waccau Valley, Venice
Though the River Ambassador isn't one of the newest ships on the river, it is very comfortable and attractively decorated. The staterooms are small, but manageable. After all, you aren't in them much. The common areas are just right for the limited number of people on board (109). They are cozy enough to encourage new acquaintances, but allow for individual space if desired. Ramona, our cruise director, was wonderful! We can't say enough good things about her, she is so warm, caring, genuine and efficient! Michaela too was always there with a smile to welcome us back onboard (and to remind us to use that handy hand sanitizer). All of the staff were attentive and pleasant. They have clearly been carefully selected and well trained. They operate as a real team. The excursions were well done and enjoyable, with one exception, the Bavarian Forest.

Some passengers had physical limitations which were caringly addressed with a "gentle walking" option. We especially liked the "Do as the Locals Do" tour in Vienna and Eva's sense of humor in Passau.

Uniworld has attended to every detail, and their new policies of including gratuities and alcohol were a plus. In general, meals were good, but dinners less so. This was probably the result of a sit down meal as opposed to buffet service. After all, the kitchen is small.

Thanks to Uniworlds' people and their attitude this was one of our best trips ever. We would highly recommend this line and wish to thank the wonderful people who took such good care of us.

Danube Discovery

| Prague to Vienna
In general, this is a wonderful trip. The down-river passage could spend more time in Passau, which seemed rushed. The descriptions of what is covered in each excursion could be more detailed.

2016 Rhine Discovery

| Prague, Germany, France and Switzerland
In my mind Uniword is the leader in river cruising. Service, food quality and presentation is stellar. While it may be a bit pricier than competitors; it's nice to have everything included in the cruise price. Loved out last cruise, would have been so much better on a super ship. Curious thing about our cruise-may be have been half filled.
