    Legend of the Seas

3/2015 St. Thomas, St. Kitts, Dominica, St Johns Anitgua, St Maarten
    Full Review
Overall it was a Great Trip. The officers were out in full force and the Captain was on the dock greeting everyone upon returning at end of day from excursions. They served water and gave out chilled towels to cool off with before you boarded, which was nice. They only served The Shrimp Cocktail as an appetizer the last 4 nights of this trip( every other cruise had it every night) they said they could only could serve it if a special request was made to chef. We did the my time dining option and had 3 different waiters tell us 2 different things about the Shrimp when we ask and one delivered it to table with no questions? They were not good about refilling drinks and seemed slow..... That's when we heard about the repositioning of this ship to Australia and that they had taken on new crew and staff and they were learning the ropes! They were all very nice and our stateroom attendant was very friendly and met all our needs when asked! We went to the shows almost every night and Watched a lot of the activities by the pool and in the centrum. We ate at Chops one night and it was delicious as always. It was a much older crowd as it was a 10 night cruise and so it was also quieter and less busy out by the pool which was nice. The sea days were great for resting and the ports were nice. We will be doing the same itinerary next year in April on the Serenade of the Seas.

    Eastbound Panama Canal Cruise

11/2014 Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta - Mexico, Puerto Quetzal - Guatemala, Puntarenas - Costa Rica, the Canal, Colon - Panama, Cartagena -Colombia.
    Full Review
We had a grand time... The highlight of the cruise was of course, transiting the Panama Canal, which lasted almost an entire day. That was very exciting. It was interesting to see folks getting sunburnt after standing out on deck in the sun for a long time, after spending time in very cool San Diego. Puerto Vallarta - Mexico and Cartagena - Colombia were very nice to visit. I recommend this cruise for anyone that have not gone through the Canal.
Pros A lovely ship, pleasant crew, nice land tours and ohhh - all that good food!!
Cons Legend of the Seas did not have an indoor movie theater and with 7 sea days, that would be nice to have.

    Legendary Decibels

8/2014 Oslo, Stavanger, Geiranger, and Alesund in Norway as well as Hamburg in Germany.
    Full Review
The Legend of the Seas provided an adequate sailing experience with good food and comfortable lodging, but failed on providing a relaxing vacation experience due to the loud live and prerecorded music in public areas. Noise should never be louder than is comfortable to a person of average hearing...both my aunt and I were uncomfortable.

    Baltic Daze

    Full Review
Our party of 8, ranging in age from 35 to 69, had a terrific time on the Baltic cruise. Not a single complaint from any of us! The staff/crew were super. Our cabins perfectly adequate and dining excellent. We bustled about Stockholm, hiked around Tallinn, toured the wonders of St. Petersburg, and biked in Helsinki. We would love to do it again.

VACATION ON LEGEND OF THE SEA IN FEBRUARY 2014

    2/2014 Southern Caribbean
The trip was very delightful. Loved most of the entertainment. The Royal Caribbean singers and dancers were very good and the guest performers were great. Particularly the the guest singing group. They were fantastic. The food was very good, varied and plentiful. Loved the different breads. The ports of call were good particularly enjoyed Tortola and Dominica. We had an assistant waiter (Marko) who was new. He was very eager to please the guests and very quick to serve. Within a day or so he remembered every guests (he served) name, taking pains to pronounce them correctly and remembered each guests preference in drinks and breads. Was always eager to please the guests in every way they requested or needed . He will make a very good waiter soon. Would like to commend our room Stuart also. The room and bathroom were always impeccably clean. He saw what we needed and provided it (new soaps, kleenex, etc.) without having to ask for it. Always friendly and courteous.
Pros SELECTION OF FOOD WAS GOOD-ENTERTAINMENT DELIGHTFUL AND THE STAFF GRACIOUS -FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL AT ALL TIMES

    Our Eastern Caribbean Cruise

2/2014 Tortola, St. Kitts, Dominica, Antigua & St Maarten
Our 10 day cruise to Tortola, St. Kitts, Antigua, Dominica and St. Maarten on the Legend of the Seas was wonderful. We had great weather and wonderful food and entertainment each night. Although we had been to some of these islands before, we enjoyed relaxing on the ship and walking into the towns. Although Legend is an older, smaller ship, it was very clean and well maintained and the service was top notch.
Pros great food and entertainment, including latest movies
Cons no bathrooms on main dining floors, decks 4 & 5
