  • Special Dietary Needs - Advance Notice Required - Special arrangements can be made for guests requiring diabetic, gluten-free, lactose-free, kosher, vegetarian, and vegan meals. Other diets must be requested for approval and, in some cases, may require additional medical documentation.

  • Medical Emergencies - Oceania Cruises has established contacts throughout the world with several different emergency rooms/hospitals where onboard doctors can refer patients for medical care.

  • Pregnancy Policy - Oceania Cruises is unable to accommodate women past their sixth month of pregnancy.

  • Smoking Policy - For the safety and security of all guests and staff on board, there are Designated Smoking Areas available onboard. These areas are comfortably furnished and conveniently located near food and beverage areas. Smoking is expressly forbidden in all staterooms and suites, on verandas, or in any areas of the ship other than officially Designated Smoking Areas. Smoking in a stateroom or suite or on a veranda represents a serious fire and safety hazard to all guests and staff. Guests choosing to disregard this policy will be disembarked at the next port of call and may also be subject to additional fees that will be imposed to cover the costs associated with any damage to and the required cleaning of furnishings, verandas, and surrounding deck and accommodation areas. All areas other than those specified as Designated Smoking Areas will remain smoke-free. This includes all guest suites and staterooms, verandas, restaurants, public areas, the Casino, and all other areas of the ship. Cigar and pipe smoking is only permitted on the forward, starboard corner of the Pool Deck. The use of electronic cigarettes is allowed within designated smoking areas only.

  • Wheelchair Access & Special Needs - Guests with any medical condition(s) or special needs that may require treatment or attention or accommodation during the voyage, or needing to travel with medical apparatus, including wheelchairs, motorized scooters, oxygen therapy, etc., must advise Oceania Cruises in writing at the time of deposit. Please note some ports of call may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility and in such cases, may disallow debarkation with a wheelchair or motorized scooter or for any individual with limited mobility. Oceania Cruises is unable to accommodate women past their sixth month of pregnancy. Oceania Cruises has the right to refuse or revoke passage to anyone who, in its judgment, is in a physical, mental or emotional condition unfit for travel or whose comfort onboard may be compromised due to situations beyond the care that can be provided by Oceania Cruises. Oceania Cruises will under appropriate circumstances permit its guests to use special equipment such as those noted above, which satisfy the criteria stated in the Oceania Cruises' Policy Statement.

    Wheelchair Assistance

If a guest needs wheelchair assistance at embarkation and debarkation, the request must be communicated prior to departure so appropriate arrangements for assistance can be made. If a guest is requesting wheelchair assistance at the airport, they must contact the airline directly.

    Oxygen

Oceania Cruises does not provide oxygen for guests. If a guest requires oxygen, they will need to bring it on board with them. The guest may contact a supply company that will deliver it to the ship for them. Oceania will need to know how many containers, what size they are, and the type. Liquid oxygen is not allowed on board Oceania ships at any time. If the guest needs oxygen for their flights, they will need to arrange it directly with the airline.

    Delivery of Medical Equipment

Having medical equipment brought on board is handled on a case by case basis. Oceania Cruises must receive the full dimensions, description of the equipment, name of the delivery company, and all other pertinent information prior to the cruise.

  • Currency - Oceania Cruises uses a cashless system based on the U.S. dollar. All onboard purchases and services, other than the casino, will be billed to an onboard account. You will be required to register an American Express, Mastercard, or Visa card during the embarkation process.

  • Electrical - Each stateroom has two 110 volt outlets and two 220 volt outlets which can be used for items such as battery chargers, hair dryers, razors, and personal hygiene items.

Ship Staterooms

The generous dimensions of Oceania Cruises' suites and staterooms afford the ultimate in luxury. Interiors are decorated with traditional hardwoods, rich fabrics, fine furnishings, and original art. A fashionable color palette blends sea, sky, and comforting earth tones to create a soothing environment. Plump the goose-down pillows of the Prestige Tranquility Bed, an Oceania Cruises exclusive, and relax in bed while reading the latest bestseller. Stretch out on the plush couch and watch live news broadcasts or the latest Hollywood blockbuster on the flat-screen television. Relax on the private teak veranda, a feature of the vast majority of accommodations.

Wonderful cruise experience with Oceania

| Baja California and the Mexican Riviera
Great service, great food, great staff

600 passengers is much better than 6,000

| Australia and New Zealand
The Regatta is the perfect size ship and service is unbelievable.

Regatta

| Alaska
It was kind of nice not having pictures taken, but one night would have good. Tracy Arms Fjorge was special

Small ship cruising at it's best

| California, Oregon, Alaska, Canada
Perfect for the older crowd who value relaxation and smaller ship capacity. We love it for those reasons. Don't look for rock climbing walls or entertainment clubs for your kids. There aren't any. There is a beautiful pool, three Jacuzzis, wonderful luxury padded lounge chairs, etc. There is a putting area, shuffleboard, ping pong, and those sorts of activities. There are no huge productions shows like on the mega-ships, but several wonderful, themed shows with extremely talented singer/dancers. There is stage lighting and simple backdrops in a much smaller, more intimate theater setting. They have other talent come aboard for one or two shows. The string quartet is awesome. They perform daily at afternoon tea and before and after dinner. There are no comedians or jugglers to endure. Also, no on-board photographers always pushing a camera in your face.

OUTSTANDING, memorable, and great!!!

| Alaska
Overall, our experiences on the Regatta as first time cruisers was most positive. Loved our suite with the veranda, the bed was quite comfy, the closets/drawers quite spacious, always lots of hot water for showers, etc. Can't say enough good things!

Oceania did not disappoint.

| Brazil to Miami.
Oceania has been and continues to be our only choice when it comes to ocean/sea cruising.

FRIENDLY, WARM ATMOSPHERE ....THANKS TO CAPTAIN AND CRUISE DIRECTOR... TIMING OF MORNING LECTURES COULD BE A LITTLE LATER ON SAILING DAYS... EMBARCATION WAS A DISASTER... EXCURSIONS TOO PRICEY.,,,

Regatta New Zealand / Australia

| New Zealand, Australia
The food was the best I have ever had on a cruise. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the upgraded forward staterooms (6000 and 6001). The upgrade gave us lots of goodies like free laundry. However the staterooms were forward end of the ship and the pitch and roll was significant.

An ALMOST perfect cruise

| Alaskap

Alaska cruise: " Glistening Glaciers"

| Alaska, inside and outside passage
We enjoyed this cruise as much or more than prior Oceania cruises on ships in penthouse suites in the Mediterranean and the Baltic. The string quartet was one of the highlights of our cruise.

Magical alaska

| Alaska
The ship was a great size. We would have liked more opportunities when we were at sea. Shuffle board tournaments. Dance lessons. Cooking lessons etc

Morningside Travel Group

Amazing cruise

Amazing Cruise. Loved the ship. Especially the ports. French Polynesia is gorgeous. Trip of a life time!! Can’t wait to go back.

Alaska on Regatta

| Alaska Inside Passage
There should be 6 stars for Oceania!

Oceania Alaskan cruise

| Alaska cruise
This small ship (680 passengers) was elegant, efficient and incredibly well managed with superb friendly, yet professional staff tending to your every need/want. We would highly recommend Oceania to particular travelers.

great trip

| Alaska
This was our first cruise and it exceeded our expectations

Cruising the Amazon On The Regatta

| Brazil, the Amazon river and Caribbean
Excellent service and very good food on Regatta. Amazon is interesting very wide and long. Some very small native villages with relatively poor living conditions. Some small animals, birds and flowers. Not too much pretty scenery. Manaus is city on the Amazon, watch out for pick pockets and jewelry snatching. Caribbean stops were nice.

Oceania Regatta Experience

| Costa Mia, Belize, Roatan, Key West
I can hardly imagine a cruise in the future being able to measure up to the care and service that was part of the Oceania Regatta team. The size of the ship lent itself to an experience of individual attention and the service team made sure that this happened with positive greetings and top-flight care on all sides. We had been told from other travelers that Oceania was the best in the business, and now we are true believers. ...a great travel experience!

Great Trip

| Mexico, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama Canal, Colombia, Charleston, NY
Overall a great experience.

Still Waters Wine Cruise

| Alaska
We were impressed with everything on the Regatta. The crew was helpful in every way possible. Most impressive was the fact that every crew member greeted us every time we saw them, without fail. The wait staff and food service crew were always pleasant and professional. Our stateroom steward was off the chart!

Post Cruise

| Alaska
We had the best weather going. The crew said it had rained the whole Alaska season except for our cruise. Just a little rain in Sitka, bright sunshine the rest of the time. You just can't beat the food and service on Oceania Cruise Line.

Alaska Bound

| Alaska
Even though the ship was recently refurbished it felt dated. I would liken it to a country club in West Palm Beach, Florida. It was very conservative with a much older crowd. Although there were some families, it seemed that the average age was well above 65. The small size of the ship was both a pro and con. Because of the small size there were not a lot of organized activities. The activities that were available during the day often did not last longer than 45 minutes, often less. Musicians played in 45 minute sets and took a lot of breaks. Conversely, the ship never felt crowded and it was able to dock in ports not available to the larger ships. This meant less touristy activities and a more "authentic" view of life along the Alaska coast. We were disappointed in the food served in the main dining hall and buffet. I am not sure if this is because the ship's food's reputation was so great and our expectations were high or if it really was mostly just adequate. There were definitely stand out dishes and the specialty restaurants were both terrific across the board. Sadly, we only got to eat in each once. Despite my grumblings, I still had a terrific time on the cruise. Just not sure this line is for me.

Poor communication by management

| Honolulu to Miami
The ship itself was fine. There were many delays. Two ports missed all together and two others cut short. Marina had a nearly identical itinerary. She left more than an hour after us but arrived at the next port we’ll before us. Regatta’s cruising speed is 2 knots slower than Marina which doesn’t seem like much but it makes a big difference.

Enjoyable, relaxing cruise

| Alaska
Ship and staff were delightful. Specialty restaurants served preprepared, frozen food which was often still partially frozen when served. Other than complaints from other passengers re small size of cabins and bathrooms and the specialty restaurants, we found cruise overall to be very pleasant.

Passage to Panama

| Miami to Los Angeles
Just enough time to get a taste of each destination, Havana, Cartagena, Puentarenas, Corinto, Hualtuco, Acapulco, Cabo San Lucas. Relaxing days at Sea worked for this full time employee, and the many retired guests seem to enjoy the scheduled activities, Guest Lectures, Bingo, Wine Tasting, Trivia/Sports (Table Tennis,Shuffleboard) Contests, Cooking Demos. The food was extraordinary, definitely the best part of the cruise, no hits and misses, all Hits! The Specialty Dining venues were surperb, the other venues wonderful. Entertainment was varied and well attended. All the Staff worked very hard, and a few were exceptional with their service. My Deluxe Oceanview Cabin was comfortable, plenty of storage and heavenly bed. Unfortunately the bathroom had no Cold Water only warm and hot. Not really a problem, however, the temp. was typically in the upper 80's and 90's, a cold shower would have been a nice respite. The small ship was the perfect way to transit the canal.

Miami to San Francisco via Panama Canal

| Panama Canal
Great food and service, good movie selection. Very dull, dated, predictable daily activities and entertainment. Few young people, many in their 80s. The ship was dead after 10:15 pm when the evening entertainment ended, or after dinner when many retired rather than participate in the evening's entertainment offering. Very short time in ports which weren't all that great in any event. But, I went on this cruise to transit the Panama Canal and visit Cabo San Lucas, so the trip met my expectations in this respect. And it basically was a repositioning cruise. Otherwise, excursions were expensive as was internet access. There were 7 days at sea in a 17 day trip. If you like bingo, trivia, reading, watching movies, sunbathing you'll enjoy this trip. Onboard shopping was not good. One lecturer who spoke every day and was informative. Very small bathrooms even in veranda staterooms.

French Polynesia

| French Polynesia
Very nice cruise definitely would use this line again

Memorable

| Alaska
Wonderful 10 day cruise up the Alaskan inner passage. Enjoyed going to some of the smaller ports where we had excellent excursions & fun exploring. The Hubbard Glacier experience was amazing with the Captain getting us up close and personal to the "calving" ice. The ship was well appointed and the crew was great, always treating you with a smile.

Fantastic Alaskan Adventure

| Denali, Seattle, Ketchikan, Juneau, Haines, Icy Strait Point, Sitka, Victoria
Weather turned out to be unbelievable. Excursions lead by locals were Fantastic. Food was delicious. Housekeeping was exceptional.

Miami-Caribbean-Panama Canal-Central America-Mexico-San Diego-Los Angeles

| See "Title," above.
Traffic in Acapulco turned a 4-destination excursion into a 2-destination excursion. We were warned about extra traffic, but not the likely consequences. It was no fault of the van driver. Meals and specialty restaurants remain excellent.

Our Trip

| LA TO LA
All went well on our cruise after the pandemic, we had a very nice vacation.

What a great experience!

| Seattle,Alaska and BritishColumbia
What a pleasant experience! Our stateroom was clean and though compact, there was enough room for 2 people. The steward and housekeeping were so friendly and accommodating. They were attentive to all our needs. The buffet was amazing, with so many varieties of foods to suit every taste. We really enjoyed the activities, from the lectures, wine and martini tasting to the trivia contests to the live music. I had a great massage and my brother said his facial was 'first class'.

Alaska trip

| Alaska
We had a wonderful time onboard the Regatta. It was our first cruise on Oceania and would not hesitate to use them again

Amazing cruise on the Regatta

| Alaska
Round trip sailing from Seattle through the Inside Passage of Alaska. The weather was perfect. Seymour Narrows is beautiful and the scenery is stunning, truly a magical destination.

The ship was beautiful and staff was very friendly and accommodating. Color palette is so pleasing, warm and comfortable. The oceanview staterooms are adequate in size, however the showers are very small. The management team went above and beyond to ensure a wonderful experience.

The Regatta Entertainment Production Company was great, the Oceania Enrichment Speaker, Naturalist Gloeta was amazing. She was knowledgeable and entertaining with her presentations. The comedian and the magician were not very good. They needed practice after the two year break.

The Oceania shore excursions were very good, however there is not much free time before or after an excursion to explore the port on your own.

The food in all the restaurants and room service was very good. My daughter has several food allergies, the staff was very good to work with, however when the gluten free question is asked it takes a while to get the answer and it still may be incorrect as she experienced.

I highly recommend Oceania and look forward to sailing with them again.

Happy Sailing

Clothing in shops out dated

Regatta

| Alaska
Overall excellent cruise and with smaller ship able to get closer to Hubbard Glacier. Also able to dock at all but one port where larger ships had to ferry from anchorage. Juneau had five cruise ships in port at one time causing very crowded conditions at Humbold Glacier. Not Oceanas fault.

Fall Colors...with 4 couples

| New York to Montreal
Glenda and I absolutely love the Oceania Cruise line. We shipped our luggage ahead by FED EX...probably would do Luggage Free next time. Our favorite stops: Quebec City; Portland, Maine. Did our own tours: Breakers and most importantly: The Elms Servant Tour...it a must to see how "others" lived and worked. The only rain was in Quebec City but that did not deter Glenda and Rocke...see the "Holy Door" at Notre Dame des Victories.

Oceania Regatta Cruise to Alaska July 2022

| Alaska and Canada
Oceania delivered a fantastic experience on a 7 day cruise to Alaska. Our first with Oceania, we felt pampered but the atmosphere/dress code is more casual than some luxury ships, which we preferred. The food was phenomenal!! The staff/crew were exceptional. We would highly recommend Oceania and the Regatta. The negative comment about internet access: Internet access is "included" with each cabin but it is only for ONE DEVICE at a time. Assuming most cabins will have two passengers, it would seem internet access for each passenger should be included. Internet access for an additional device can be purchased at $25 per day. (but you must purchase all remaining days of the cruise, you cannot choose particular days when you may need it most).

Amazing Amazon

| Amazon Odyssey
Would have loved to have spent more time on the Amazon with less time in the Caribbean. The Amazon experience was amazing.

Trip to Alaska

| Alaska
Great. Met and exceeded expectations. It was totally as good as they said it would be.

Oceania - great food, but not best value

| Alaska, Canada
This was my first experience with this cruise line and my experience was positive. The food was phenomenal and the small ship experience was great. However, for an almost same price point - one gets more of an all inclusive experience (drinks, gratuity, laundry) with Crystal or Silver Seas. This cruise line is more of a premier experience than the bigger companies (Royal, Celebrity, Princess, Holland, etc.), however the cost is a bit too high and should rather be somewhere in between those lines and the truly all inclusive luxury ones (such as the two mentioned prior). The interior stateroom was also a bit small.
