Oceania Marina

4.5/5 |

The Oceania-Class Marina represents an evolution of the line’s extremely popular Regatta-Class ships. Since the inception of Oceania Cruises, our ships have delivered an unparalleled onboard experience. So many of the indulgences are a direct result of our ships’ ideal mid-size, a tradition that Marina will proudly continue, but in an even more refined incarnation. She personifies the Oceania experience and then some.

While larger than her consorts Regatta, Insignia and Nautica, Marina remains comfortably mid-size, adroitly utilizing the additional space for even greater amenities. She rewards guests with our signature “finest cuisine at sea” in six restaurants, including two new gourmet venues — Jacques and Red Ginger. Her new La Reserve holds enlightening wine and food pairings. For special coffees and snacks, there is Baristas Coffee Bar. The new Bon Appétit Culinary Center offers hands-on cooking instruction under the guidance of master chefs. Similarly, artists-in-residence teach fine arts in Artist Loft, a new enrichment center. Intimate lounges abound. Accommodations in every category are incredibly spacious, especially with regard to the lavish bathrooms.

Yet remarkably, with so many additions, the onboard ambiance and experience remains comfortably familiar. We have retained everything guests adore about our ships and raised the bar ever higher.

Experience the warm and convivial atmosphere unique to Oceania Cruises: elegance without pretense. Feel wonderfully at home as you meet fellow shipmates, explore the ship, and prepare for the fascinating ports of call you will soon discover. Meet friends for cocktails at Martinis and share adventures you enjoyed ashore. Join an afternoon bridge game, or perhaps simply relax by yourself in one of the many private retreats reserved just for you.

The stimulating variety of entertainment options on board Oceania's ships continually ensures your interests are piqued. Enjoy an engaging guest lecture by a historian, naturalist, or former ambassador eager to share insider knowledge. Relax at a musical performance, perhaps featuring a live pianist, a classical string quartet, a dynamic vocalist, or a spectacular headliner. Later, try your luck at the elegant Monte Carlo-style casino or go dancing at Horizons.

How much you choose to tip is a personal matter and completely at your discretion. For your convenience, the following gratuities are automatically added to your shipboard account.

  • For guests occupying staterooms, gratuities of $16.00 per guest, per day will be added.
  • For guests occupying Penthouse, Oceania, Vista, or Owner's Suites where Butler Service is provided, gratuities of $23.00 per guest, per day will be added.

  • Special Dietary Needs - Advance Notice Required - Special arrangements can be made for guests requiring diabetic, gluten-free, lactose-free, kosher, vegetarian, and vegan meals. Other diets must be requested for approval and, in some cases, may require additional medical documentation.

  • Smoking Policy - For the safety and security of all guests and staff on board, there are Designated Smoking Areas available onboard. These areas are comfortably furnished and conveniently located near food and beverage areas. Smoking is expressly forbidden in all staterooms and suites, on verandas, or in any areas of the ship other than officially Designated Smoking Areas. Smoking in a stateroom or suite or on a veranda represents a serious fire and safety hazard to all guests and staff. Guests choosing to disregard this policy will be disembarked at the next port of call and may also be subject to additional fees that will be imposed to cover the costs associated with any damage to and the required cleaning of furnishings, verandas, and surrounding deck and accommodation areas. All areas other than those specified as Designated Smoking Areas will remain smoke-free. This includes all guest suites and staterooms, verandas, restaurants, public areas, the Casino, and all other areas of the ship. Cigar and pipe smoking is only permitted on the forward, starboard corner of the Pool Deck. The use of electronic cigarettes is allowed within designated smoking areas only.

  • Medical Emergencies - Oceania Cruises has established contacts throughout the world with several different emergency rooms/hospitals where onboard doctors can refer patients for medical care.

  • Pregnancy Policy - Oceania Cruises is unable to accommodate women past their sixth month of pregnancy.

  • Wheelchair Access & Special Needs - Guests with any medical condition(s) or special needs that may require treatment or attention or accommodation during the voyage, or needing to travel with medical apparatus, including wheelchairs, motorized scooters, oxygen therapy, etc., must advise Oceania Cruises in writing at the time of deposit. Please note some ports of call may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility and in such cases, may disallow debarkation with a wheelchair or motorized scooter or for any individual with limited mobility. Oceania Cruises is unable to accommodate women past their sixth month of pregnancy. Oceania Cruises has the right to refuse or revoke passage to anyone who, in its judgment, is in a physical, mental or emotional condition unfit for travel or whose comfort onboard may be compromised due to situations beyond the care that can be provided by Oceania Cruises. Oceania Cruises will under appropriate circumstances permit its guests to use special equipment such as those noted above, which satisfy the criteria stated in the Oceania Cruises' Policy Statement.

    Wheelchair Assistance

If a guest needs wheelchair assistance at embarkation and debarkation, the request must be communicated prior to departure so appropriate arrangements for assistance can be made. If a guest is requesting wheelchair assistance at the airport, they must contact the airline directly.

    Oxygen

Oceania Cruises does not provide oxygen for guests. If a guest requires oxygen, they will need to bring it on board with them. The guest may contact a supply company that will deliver it to the ship for them. Oceania will need to know how many containers, what size they are, and the type. Liquid oxygen is not allowed on board Oceania ships at any time. If the guest needs oxygen for their flights, they will need to arrange it directly with the airline.

    Delivery of Medical Equipment

Having medical equipment brought on board is handled on a case by case basis. Oceania Cruises must receive the full dimensions, description of the equipment, name of the delivery company, and all other pertinent information prior to the cruise.

  • Currency - Oceania Cruises uses a cashless system based on the U.S. dollar. All onboard purchases and services, other than the casino, will be billed to an onboard account. You will be required to register an American Express, Mastercard, or Visa card during the embarkation process.

  • Electrical - Each stateroom has two 110 volt outlets and two 220 volt outlets which can be used for items such as battery chargers, hair dryers, razors, and personal hygiene items.

Great Down Under Cruising

| Australia and New Zealand
The staff and level of service were suberb. And once again the quality and presentation of the food was fantastic. Having two additional specialtiy restuarants was a nice addition. It was our first time on the larger Oceania ship and we did not feel like there were more people on the boat. We liked having the larger stateroom too. Privee is a fun addition as well.

Lap of luxury

| Copenhagen, Denmark; Rostock , (formerly East) Germany; Riga, Latvia; Talinn, Estonia; Lithuania; St. Persburg, Russia; Helsinki. Finland; Stockholm, Sweden
We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of this trip and would not hesitate to recommend it. We loved the culinary oriented tours as they showed a side of the towns that you would never see otherwise. This is a great diversion if you are tired of seeing castles and churches. The chef on our boat was great!!!! We loved seeing the countries formerly under Soviet control. Their stories are palpable, and they value their independence like you cannot believe.

Bucket list cruise

| Kristiansand Oslo Copenhagen Warnemunde Visby Helsinki St. Petersburg Estonia Stockholm
This cruise was everything I could have asked for. We even had great weather and calm seas.

Baltic Cruise on the Marina

| Helsinki, St. Petersburg, Tallinn, Warnem
We recently did a Baltic cruise on the Oceania Marina and the overall feeling we had was that it was outstanding. We will do another Oceania cruise in 2021. The size of the ship was perfect. We kept saying how great the food was and how customer focused the ship staff was.

Thoroughly Enjoyable Cruise

| Baltic Sea
Last year we experienced problems on Oceania's Regatta, so we were hesitant to sail with them again. However, since we'd enjoyed prior cruises with Oceania, we decided to give them one more chance. We're glad we did. Our Baltic Sea cruise on Marina provided smooth sailing in every respect.

Marina experience.

| NewZealand,new caledonia,Samoa,Fiji,Tahiti islands.
We liked the smaller ship as getting on and off was easier. The passenger makeup on this cruise was not the usual happy crowd and we like more to do in the evenings so would not choose Oceana again.

Lima to NYC

| Peru to New York
Wait-staff service not as attentive as on previous Oceania ships but overall trip on Marina was delightful. Having a bath tub and a separate shower was the best advantage of being on Oceania's larger ships.

Best Cruise Ever

| Rome to Istanbul
Need guidelines for max time allowed on pickleball court if others are waiting. One group played for 3 hours straight

Great trip

| Baltic States
My only complaints are there really is no free air fair. Internet should be included in price. Overall, everything was excellent

First Cruises with Oceania

| Scandinavian Charisma and Northern Islands & Gems June 2 - June 21
We are not first time cruisers. We were recommended that we try Oceania and that they were top of the notch. We liked their itineraries and thought we would give them a try. The most that we were disappointed in was the excursions and how they were so rushed. We like to take photos and we do a lot of research before we travel to places and were not happy. Most the the people traveling on the two cruises we just took were over 60 and they should be a little more understanding that we do not move that fast.

Oceania Marina

| TransAtlantic: New York to London
Ship is being maintained very well. Service is extraordinary and the food is wonderful. The best ice cream at sea.

First cruise

| South America
Excellent way to access remote destinations. Excellent accommodations and support for excursions. Did not utilize many entertainment or shipboard activities as more interested in sights.

Family Trip to Spain

| 8 days
This was the second sailing on Oceania for four of us and the first for two. We all agreed that any future sailing will be on Oceania. Absolutely the BEST cruise line we all have experienced.

Rome to Venice 9/24 to 10/4

| Rome, Sorrento/Capri, Amalfi/Positano, Taormina (Sicily), Argostoli (Greece), Kotor (Montenegro), Zadar (Croatia), Ravenna (Italy), Koper (Slovenia), Venice (Italy)
Destinations that surprised us with their beauty and hospitality were Argostoli, Greece; Kotor, Montenegro; and the town of Piran, near Koper, Slovenia.

Marina is the best!

| Marquesas Islands, French Polynesia
Perfect sized, great ports of call, excellent food

South America/Antarctica Sailing

| South America/Antarctica
We were so fortunate to have mostly good weather, especially while in Antarctica and Patagonia. Staff on the entire ship were always friendly and helpful. It was a great voyage!

Relaxing

| Transatlantic
The cruise director loved to hear himself talk. The assistant cruise director was a bit over the top. Loved the days at sea where you could do as much or as little as you wanted.

London-Barcelona 2023

| London, Saint Mahlo, Bordeaux, Bilbao, A Coruna, Porto, Lisbon, Tangier, Almeria, Alicante, Barcelona
Stop at Saint Mahlo canceled due to rough seas and it was a tender so it was very understandable. A 2 day stop in Bordeaux was cut short late the first day due to incoming storms forecasted the next day, again regrettable but understandable. Stop at Tangier was canceled 30 minutes prior to docking due to 35knot winds —no alternative stop at Cadiz, Curt’s, Gibraltar, etc. Later that day $750 per person credit for future cruise offered along with 2 hour open bar. The captain suggested that weather and winds were an issue with such a large ship—if that’s the case, I’ll limit my future trips to a smaller ship.

Awesome Transatlantic Crossing!

| Lisbon to Miami
A fine cruising experience

South Seas for 17 days

| New Zealand, Samoa, Tahitian Islands
The band musicians on board were talented, but played for 30-45 minutes and left. Piano player in Martinis Bar very boring (think "elevator music"). Shows in the showroom were "hit and miss". Onboard dancers and singers were poor. Entertainment was the only disappointment, but it was kind of a big deal for me.

Trip to Israel

| Rome, Cyprus, Haifa, Athens
We had such a great time! Played ping pong, mini golf, and shuffleboard a lot! Great variety of restaurants without “extra charge”. Loved that there were no “formal” nights, just “country club” attire. Nice.

Back-to-Back Southampton-Oslo & Oslo-Southampton

| Norway, Scotland, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, England
Overall enjoyable trip. Staff and fellow travelers were friendly and outgoing. Food was mostly good to great with the exception of the quality of beef in Polo Grill (beef was surprisingly much better in Jacques and Main Dining). Tour guides were good and informative. We had problems with the accuracy of our account twice. Tried unsuccessfully to resolve with Guest Services over two days, so emailed our travel agent, who contacted the home office and resolved in minutes. On another occasion, our cabin and all the cabins in our corridor (starboard side aft) suddenly filled with a noxious odor; and despite numerous calls from our neighbors, we got no response to the problem. I went to Guest Services in person, after a half hour of no response, and the representative had passed the problem to engineering and was unwilling to follow-up. We suspected the engine exhaust was being drawn into the air conditioning system, but never got any explanation. About two hours after seeing some engineering staff looking around in our corridor, the smell dissipated, so we assumed it was safe to return and sleep in our cabin. A voice mail confirming that assumption would have been nice.

2023 Iberia/France

| Portugal, Spain, France, London and Belgium
May want to add videos (that are available on ship TV) of excursions to the Oceania website for preview in advance of the cruise. They help supplement the written descriptions .

Fantastic Ship

| Norway, Denmark, Germany, (Visby) Sweden, Finland, St Petersburg (2 day), Estonia & (Stockholm) Sweden
We sailed on Marina on the Baltic Bliss. The ports were all fantastic. The food was fabulous. We ate in the four Specialty Dining rooms and they were also excellent, as was the service. Main dining room was great. The Buffett area was a challenge as they have to serve you the food and it is slow and disorganized for that reason. No cue lines caused people to get upset as others just cut in front of you. Waves grill was a great option for breakfast and lunch. We loved there was no push to sale you drink package or photography, something that has gotten annoying on other cruise lines. We usually sail Royal Caribbean and Celebrity, and this was for sure a higher class ship. Activities were good. Lots of places to sit and read, or sit and visit with others. We had a extended balcony cabin which we loved and used. The cabin had plenty of storage areas. The bathroom was very large and loved the bathtub/shower along with another shower. The bed was extremely comfortable.

great experience

| Amsterdam to Barcelona
In future, Oceania should consider training less people at a time. All check in personnel were in experienced. Should have had experienced person at their side watching til they felt they were okay with process. Consequently, check in process was quite slow.

Wonderful ship with marginal staff service

| Lisbon to London
Food and cuisine get high marks. Culinary class outstanding. Cleaning service very good & responsive. Food servers from cafe' to formal excellent. Sommeliers good over all. Some marginal in knowledge. Not excited about offering decanter for aged vintage wine. The ship appears to be understaff and some strategic personnel under trained. Previous Oceania cruises had higher level and smoother service. Smaller ( 800 ) Oceania ship maybe a better choice in the future. Marina is such a beautiful ship but not properly staffed. Holland America counter part to our butler on this trip is what we gage our evaluation. HA -9.5 O-4. From cuisine reservations to excursion reservations to evening canapés too many errors made. HA was very visible and accessible. O was impossible to find at times and very tardy in responding to messages left for him. We give up at the end and start to service ourselves to maximize our experience on the cruise.

Greek and Italian Shores on the Oceania Marina- mixed review

| Italy, Croatia, Montenegro, Greece.
Overall, our 10 day cruise was enjoyable. We found the ship very clean and for the most part, staff was very attentive. The only exception was in the Grand Dining hall where service was inconsistent. The food preparation in the Grand Dining hall was good, but not great (as expected). Dress code "requirements" were not enforced by ship staff, especially in the Grand Dining hall, despite daily reminders. This was noticed on several occasions where men in shorts/jeans and sandals were seated, right next to men in suits and slacks. The entertainment offerings at the Marina theatre were mediocre and repeated on several nights. The majority of guests were largely in the 65-75 age range, so we were some of the "younger" ones on the ship. Shore excursions offered were good.

The sunny Baltic

| Baltic
The title is true as we had the Best weather possible. The stops were wonderful but then much too short, the only drawback. Easy trip in that everywhere we monolinguistic travellers went everyone spoke English and not only was the Euro accepted but also USD, even in Russia. Friendly people everywhere we went. Ship's procedures were extremely efficient. We would not use their air program again as they did not allot enough time between flights for our luggage to arrive with us. It took two and a half days to find and deliver. Also I asked our agent if we could upgrade and we were told no although at the airport it was no problem and inexpensive. ???

Great Trip

| Baltic and North Seas - Copenhagen, Helsinki, St Petersburg, Tallinn, Stockholm, Warnemunde (Berlin), Skagen (Denmark), Oslo, Amsterdam
This was our second cruise - and it was so much better. Oceania treats their guests very well. Terrace Café food was always fresh and often local. Waves extended hours allowed us to eat when we were hungry. Polo Grill food and service were excellent. Staff very personable, they appear to enjoy their roles. Most of the staff had been with the company for several years. Plenty of space to sit, read, or doze in library. Wide variety of reading material. Ports of call were well selected. We chose this cruise because it offered 2 days in St. Petersburg. Every port offered something unique. Housekeeping persisted in cleaning the room 3 times per day - even calling us when the "Privacy Please" card was posted outside the door for more than a few hours. Sometimes we just wanted to relax in the stateroom.

Baltic Cruise

| Blatic destinations
Gratuity should either be included on everything (including beverages) or not included on everything assuming the concept is service. There were 2 times the somalier did not know much about the wines and the service was extremely slow, we would not have tipped 20% - thus counter intuitive. We really appreciated the shuttle service to town - understand not possible for all ports - Destination information could be more expanded, maybe add a video or two about the destination on the portal section - Enjoyed the catalog of movies and shows by category- very helpful. In general throughout the Marina service and teams were helpful although we found the main dining room service to be slower than we experienced in the past.

Five star experience

| Monte Carlo, France, Italy and Spain
I felt taken care of, every moment. The restaurant staff made fabulous suggestions, the excursions were well executed. The announcements were enough to keep you informed, but not intrusive. The shows were fantastic. I tried foods I'd never imagined trying and was never disappointed. The gym had great equipment and luxurious treatments. I can't wait to book my next trip with Oceania.

Never disappoints

| South Pacific (French Polynesia)
Seventh voyage for us on Marina (or Riviera). Ship is still in great shape and its upkeep is noticeable. Food quality and service is superb. Excursions are still grossly overpriced and for some reason, poolside music, etc. is missing. Seems to me that on this voyage (12 nights in South Pacific) that we would have had more entertainment around pool given the heat and the attendance in the afternoon. All in all, an A+ rating.

1. they only wi-fi'd to a single satellite so capacity is limited to one cabin occupant at a time, etc. very inconvenient 2. they said they had exhausted all euros from last cruise. but they never replaced them or made norwegian or danish krone available; even a limited amount so people could get into town or dine in town would have been helpful. we came prepared, but service is the name of the game. 3.ship is a cash free environment; laundry should be built into the price. shouldn't have coin machines. 4. probably 90% of people taking excursions had one on one conversations to clarify how the boarding process worked thereby slowing down the procedure. they should just publish the steps in the bulletin or put signage up in marina lounge; or project it on a screen to avoid the delays. Amsterdam was skipped due to sea conditions. Bremerhavn was substituted. Kristiansand and Gothenberg are weak ports for sightseeing; the others are strong; They should bring back Hagen-Daz ice cream. They used to feature it. The Baristas are located 14th floor forward. They should be down on deck five or six. They should have a wide variety of pastries and sandwiches as other ships do. Unimpressed with the Barista section. Canyon Spa services were excellent. Their billing was not so good. They overcharged for one procedure. Then on another day they mistakenly included a manicure in the billing for a pedicure only. Once I can understand. Twice; something is going on. Kim,The Spa, Manager was very helpful, checked the records carefully, and made the proper adjustments. Still an inconvenience.

Fabulous Balkin Cruise

| Copenhagen, Helsinki, Tallinn, Riga, Ronne and Stockholm
We felt totally safe regarding our health, and the overall experience was just as we remembered it used to be before Covid. Joanie loved the art program. Ed, the piano man, was especially entertaining at the piano bar.

Cruise of French Polynesia

| French Polynesia (Tahiti, Bora Bora, Moorea, Raiatea, Nuku Hiva, Rangiroa)
The islands of French Polynesia are beautiful, lush and green. The color of the South Pacific is indescribable. The different hues of blue seem unreal. Everything looks like a painting. The French Polynesian people were friendly and easy going. The only downside was the heat and humidity. Of course being summer in the Southern Hemisphere and being near the equator explains the climate. The ship experience was excellent.

We had a wonderful time.

The Food was very special and the service in the restaurants and in the stateroom was excellent. The entire Oceania cruise was special and I would use them again without hesitation.

Amazing Vacation with Friends!

| Mediterranean - Rome, Italy, France, Monaco and Spain
Had an amazing time, start to finish!

Oceania Marina October 2015

| Venice Croatia Montenegro Greece Messina Amalfi Coast Florence Rome Monte Carlo Nice
Most food was excellent. The meat/main courses in almost all restaurants (except for Terrace Cafe ) although cooked as requested was dry and tough as though it had been cooked hours before and left standing--no juices at all--- except for the meat cooked on the grill right in front of you at Terrace Cafe and Kobe burger, ahi steak cooked on the spot at Waves...killer! Side dishes and appetizers were of very good quality.

Oceania Marina Mediterranean Cruise

| Mediterranean Coast - France & Italy
The Oceania Marina cruise was wonderful. I have been on 7 prior cruises and by far Oceania exceeded my cruise expectations and was the "best cruise ever". Thank you to Oceania!!

Baltic Cruise

| We went to eleven countries in the Baltic region.
After taking 13 tours in our 11 ports of call, we only had one tour guide that was not terrific. It was with one of the ships excursions. The tours we took with Shore Trips were great. We were introducing two couples to Oceania and they were very pleased with the overall experience. I can not wait until our next cruise with Oceania.

Great Ship

| Canada, Ireland , France, UK
This was truly an adventure. Because of a huge storm, we had extra days at sea and woke up one day to find the decks covered with snow! Some of the crew made creative snowmen. Despite the weather, being on Marina is always an enjoyable and unforgettable experience. Best cuisine at sea and incomparable service.

Baltic Bliss, London to Stockholm

| London,Oslo, Copenhagen, Visby, Tallin, St. Petersburg, Helsinki and Stockholm
Very nice ship, 4 specialty restaurants and Spa

Iberian Quest = Iberian Dream

| Lisbon, Spain, French Riviera, Monaco.
Oceania was superb, with the cruise starting in Lisbon and ending in Monte Carlo. I can't stress enough how highly enjoyable this cruise was, allowing us exposure to cultural sites along the Iberian coast and throughout the cote d'azure. We relaxed and basically reset. Pick your tours wisely and early, you won't regret it. In Monte Carlo I did for a minute fantasize myself as a British Secret agent.

Cruise Performance

| Ireland, Scotland, Wales, UK
Would not recommend this itinerary due to the low quality of the shore excursions and high prices. Would highly recommend the Marina ship.

My Dream Vacation

| Turkey Greece Spain Portugal France England Belgium and Netherlands
Marina is a beautiful ship with great paintings and sculptures throughout the ship. The speciality restaurants are wonderful with great food and lots of personal touches. The BEST Sea Bass in Red Ginger… Be prepared to do a lot of walking in some ports because of the distance between ports and city centers. We did more walking around than expected! Let’s say like Malta there is nothing to do so do book a tour at this location…I wish I would have known that or that arriving in France on a Sunday most everything is closed.. Had a wonderful room steward that made our trip so much more enjoyable.. However I would not travel with Oceania again way to expensive..

Fabulous cruise

| Buenos aires to Valapariso
My travel agent is fabulous who put our South American trip together for the Katzman/ Greenwall family for 7 persons with very little notice.

Beautiful ship, outstanding services and food. Just need FREE wifi and it would be perfect.

Ten Glorious Days

| Monaco, Italy, France and Spain.
This was a GREAT cruise. The ports were terrific. The staff was very friendly. I could get spoiled.

Baltic Sea Cruise

| Copenhagen, Lithuania, Helsinki, St. Petersburg, Stockholm
We were traveling with a group of 8, and one couple had a change in time for one of their shore excursions. There was no advance notice (email) BEFORE the trip for this change and while we are asked to check the times after arriving on the ship, I believe this change should be brought to their attention in advance or as soon as possible. By the time they noticed the change in time, it was too late and they lost out on their excursion. On the positive side, the food was great and staff, friendly and helpful. Our staterooms were spacious and was impressed with the efficiency of the bathrooms. I would recommend Oceania's Marina to anyone who likes the smaller size ship for its atmosphere and personal service.

Excellent, Warm Service

| South America
The care and concern of every crew and staff member was evident throughout this voyage under very trying conditions with covid protocols. However, passengers felt very safe because everyone was vaccinated and tested negative repeatedly. Clients are treated as special guests and friends rather than cash cows. Waiters knew our names and faces even with masks and what we liked to eat. All officers and crew treated us warmly and respectfully. The cast and the entertainers were extremely talented and enthusiastic, eliciting cheers from the audience. Food and service was outstanding.

Baltic Cruise

| Helsinki, St. Petersburg, tallen,klaipeda,gdansk,berlin,copenhagen,oslo,amsterdam
Marina doesn't have loads of suites so they have to be reserved over a year in advance, which isn't always possible. The destination desk on the ship only has employees at the desk certain hours which can be really annoying if you need to take care of something. Entertainment was better than expected. Needed to see ship doctor for something minor and the charge for that was way out of line, much too high.

Shaking off a little Rust

| Lisbon, Porto, Ferrol, Bilbao, Bordeaux, Brest, St. Melo, Southampton
Itinerary was a mixed bag with wonderful start in Lisbon and Porto as well as Bordeaux, Bilbao and St. Melo.. Ferrol and Brest were somewhat lacking in interest.

Marina

| Mediterranean
We would definitely use Oceania again, but we would book our own tours thru the internet. We used Viator in Barcelona and found it very enjoyable at a reasonable price. Many passengers on the ship booked their tours online. I think this may be a new trend. The 4 specialty restaurants were wonderful.

Trans Atlantic Eastbound 2023

| Nassau Azores Maderia Alicante Motril skipped Bermuda - high winds
All that time a sea seemed to disappear with the activities. Never finished a book, Library is extensive. Tho windy, seas were not bad. Ship avoided a storm at Bermuda by skipping port.

Luxury as advertised

| Europe
Marina is new and beautiful! The ship is not meant for children and there is no children's programming. The public rooms are well appointed and comfortable. Our cabin, a Vista Suite, was very roomy, well laid out and had the luxury appointments one would expect for the price paid and the category of accommodation. The cabin was worth the fare paid. The service in our cabin by our butler was impeccable. The service by the remainder of the crew was also top notch. The food was perfect in every way. The four specialty restaurants, Polo Grill, Jacques, Red Ginger and Toscana were each charming in their own way and the service in each was quite good. The only "up-charge" restaurant, La Reserve, features a set seven course menu with each course paired to a wine. if you enjoy this type of fine dining then the additional charge is well worth it. Book La Reserve early since they only seat 24 guests per night. The only draw back was the shore excursions which are expensive and overall not a good value for the money paid. You will do better to book your own excursions in major ports and/or do self guided tours in the smaller ports. we were so busy touring and dining that we didn't have time for any of the entertainment, but we were told by others that we met on board that it was not particularly memorable. While we didn't use it, we were given a tour of the Canyon Ranch Spa which looked rather attractive and well equipped.

Southernmost Wonders

| Argentina, Falkland Islands and Chile
Very remote part of the world. Weather distracted from the cruise but we were told that that was unusual.

Wonderful Cruise

The Oceania Cruises Covid protocols we very smart, and did not in any way detract from the cruise being enjoyable in all respects!

Enjoyed this 12 day cruise very much. Had to take an extra sea day because it is a busy cruise.

Cruising the Baltic

Oceania tends to stop at more ports than other cruises. The smaller ports were nice recovery ports!

Great Cruise Itinerary and Execution

Not my fanciest cruise, but one of the best.

Fantastic Cruising

| Boston, Bar Harbor ME, Halifax, Azores, Madeira, Lisbon
This was our fourth cruise on Oceania Marina. We always enjoy this ship. After cruise ended May 28, Marina will be in dry dock for refurbishing. The ship is just over five years old and not nearly as warn as other cruise ship we have experienced. We look forward to sailing again on Marina September 3, 2016 and look forward to enjoying the updated interiors. On our recent cruise we booked a penthouse suite and enjoyed excellent cabin/butler service.
