Lounges

Choose to relax in one of the many sophisticated bars or lounges available on each cruise ship. Holland America ships offer everything from wine and cocktails to espresso and hand-dipped chocolates. Whether you enjoy a quiet candle-lit corner or a rollicking good time, you're sure to find something to suit your taste.

Try Ocean Bar for cocktails or dance at Crow's Nest, an inviting observation lounge by day, dazzling nightclub by night. Explorer's Lounge is perfect for after-dinner coffee, hand dipped chocolates and classic music. Northern Lights Disco is the hot night spot on the Zuiderdam, Oosterdam, Noordam and Westerdam. At the Piano Bar, sing along as the piano man plays the hits. Relax in Queen's Lounge, a lounge/theater venue on the Noordam, Zuiderdam, Oosterdam and Westerdam. At the Sports Bar, catch the action on ESPN International via satellite.
 

On Stage

In the dramatic, multi-tiered show lounges, you'll enjoy dazzling Las Vegas- and Broadway-style entertainment created by more Emmy®, Grammy®, Tony® and Oscar® nominees than any other cruise line. These spectacular shows feature vocalists, comedians, illusionists and variety performers. Colorful costumes, extraordinary music and talented performers all combine to create memorable evenings of dazzling entertainment.

After-dinner production shows typically start at 8:15pm (first show) and 10:15pm (second show), unless there is a special event scheduled later in the evening - in which case the two performances are "flipped" with the second show first at 6:45pm before dinner.

Film

For film buffs, Holland America's theaters serve up recently released comedies, dramas, thrillers and feature complimentary hot buttered popcorn. Suite guests can choose from a vast movie library and enjoy a private showing on their in-suite DVD or VCR players. Don't forget 24-hour complimentary room-service.

Dancing

Join in the fun with swing, disco, fox trot, waltz and calypso music playing in several lounges. Be sure to take to the dance floor in Holland America's signature Crow's Nest nightclub and observation lounge.
