Hi Trish,
Peter and I enjoyed the Oceania cruise experience to Alaska very much. Above all, the service from the attentive, friendly staff was unequalled. We felt like royalty and like family.
The food was very good. I did not like 3 dinners in the Grand Dining Room, but that was a personal preference. Peter would say the food, especially the beef entrees, was excellent. We enjoyed the food and service in the Polo Grill and Toscana very much and loved the high tea—4 times.
The shore excursion highlight for us was “The Wild Bears of Anan in Wrangell”. We were up close and did not need binoculars. Salmon were swimming upstream, so the timing was perfect.
There was rain only one day in Skagway, and several sunny days in 60's and 70's. Denali had more rain but still very pretty. We got within half mile of one of the glaciers at College Fjord.
Our Social Director Dotty, who is married to the comedian Tom, was excellent. Comedian was very funny.
Thanks for being there for us all the way.
Warm regards,
Judee
