Beijing is home to many of the sights that make China a must-see destination. Among the fascinating places you will visit is the Forbidden City, the largest and most complete ancient imperial palace in the world. Stand in the middle of Tiananmen Square, the heart of Beijing, and then visit the Summer Palace. In the evening, top off a fabulous day with an authentic Peking Duck dinner. Featured Excursion: The Great Wall, the Ming Tombs, and the Beijing Opera
The Great Wall, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is without question one of the man-made wonders of the world. To walk this marvel of the ancient world is truly memorable. Later in the day, travel the Sacred Way, home to the remnants of the Ming Tombs. End your day with yet another highlight, an evening at the magnificent Beijing Opera. Featured Excursion: Hutongs tour and dumpling dinner

Featured Excursion: Terra Cotta Warriors, City Wall, and Tang Dynasty dinner and performance
Xi’an is the capital of Shaanxi Province and the site of one of the most significant archaeological excavations of the 20th century, the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses. Visit the City Wall, one of the oldest and best- preserved walls in China. In the evening, indulge in a Tang Dynasty dinner and cultural show. Featured Excursion: Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Chongqing Zoo panda viewing
Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists. Then fly to Chongqing, where you’ll board an elegant Victoria Cruises ship for your river cruise on the awe-inspiring Yangtze. Featured Excursion: Fengdu or Wanzhou
Sail along the Yangtze with its vertical limestone cliffs. Your journey will take you through the Three Gorges. You’ll visit either Fengdu, the “Ghost City,” with its gardens, temples, and statues of ghosts, or the new relocation village for families who have moved as a result of the Yangtze’s rising waters brought about by the Three Gorges Dam. Featured Excursion: Lesser Gorges
Board a riverboat and embark on a voyage through the enchanting Lesser Gorges of either the Daning River or Shennong Stream. Prices: Prices are per person, based on two people sharing a stateroom or hotel room. Cruise/tour prices are based on costs, charges, tariffs, rates, taxes, levies, and exchange rates as of June 15, 2008. Should the total cruise/tour price increase by more than 10%, passengers will have the right to cancel their cruise within 7 days of notification of the surcharge without penalty. A limited number of singles are available for an additional supplement. Reservations and Payments: A deposit of at least $200 per person is required at the time of reservation. Final payment is due at least 90 days prior to departure. Reservations will be cancelled if final payment is not received in a timely manner.
