All-Travel Vacation to Moorea Was Seamless!

Hi Julie,

Chris and I arrived at O'Hare last night at about 9 pm.  I cannot say enough positive things about our time in Moorea.  Your planning provided us with a seamless vacation experience - there were so many transportation issues and not one problem!  Everyone we met was friendly, informed and ready to take good care of us!  The resort staff were all top notch.  One of the front desk staff, Josie Garante, was exceptional and I'll be sure to write a note to the Intercontinental about what a gem she is!  Josie greeted us with ice cold juice cocktails upon our arrival and had us in our bungalow within 5 minutes - early check in at 10:30am was no problem. We were soaking up rays on the beach by 11 am.  She helped us navigate everything else all week and, on departure day, ararnged for us to stay in our bunglow until 5 pm even though check our was at 10 am.

The bungalow itself was perfect and we loved being right next to the dolphins.  The excursions you planned were awesome. In addition to the Jeep tour and motu picnic, Chris swam with the dolphins and went parasailing.  The only mistake we made was renting a car for one day - the best spots on the island were right at the resort and the sights we saw on the Jeep tour.  So that was a bit of a waste.  We really appreciated having the american breakfast included with our stay.  Eating out was really expensive so we stocked up on baguette, brie, pate, and fresh fruit at the grocery store across the street from the resort entrance.  There is also a "snack", Chez Vina (I think) about a five minute walk from the resort where we had excellent poisson cru, but for two entrees, and three beverages we paid almost $50. We could however have ordered sandwiches and the bill would have been about half that. After that we stuck with groceries and spent our money on recreation! Thank you so much for creating such a great package for us!  I will recommend you to anyone!

By the way, I wanted to mention that any of your clients who have a long lay over at the LAX International Terminal check out the ReLAX Lounge.  It's quite inexpensive ($25.00/person/3 hours) and includes cushy chairs and loungers, free snacks (lots to choose from), free non-alcohol beverages, free internet and a cash bar.  It's blissfully quite too.  The restrooms are close by and they don't mind if you purchase food at the nearby food court and bring it in.  We met a lovely couple on their way back to the UK.  This made our long layover much more comfortable.

Take care and many thanks!

Rebecca
