Here's my quick Kona-side Roundup:

• Mauna Kea  Beach Hotel - spruced up, but in the old/modern style - still a classic, great beach, great golf

• Four Seasons - might be great room, shticky pool, small, thin beach, rocky water

• Hapuna Prince - lower cost alternative to Mauna Kea, same company, nice beach, though not as pristine or beautiful as Mauna Kea

• Fairmont Orchid at Mauna Lani - pretty, saw it at night, great restaurant

• Blue Dragon - nice restaurant with live music in Kawaihae

• Bamboo - nice restaurant with great food in Hawii
