ITINERARY
- DAY 1 DEPART USA* Board your overnight transatlantic flight.
- DAY 2 ARRIVE IN PARIS, FRANCE Welcome to France! You will be met and transferred to your ship. The balance of your day is free to begin exploring the “City of Light” on your own. (D)
- DAY 3 LES ANDELYS / ROUEN Disembark in the beguiling town of Les Andelys, once home to Richard the Lionheart. Sample traditional Normandy pancakes and cider, a delicious treat and a specialty of the area. Cruising to Rouen, attend a performance of the St. Evode Choir at the Cathedral, immortalized by the Impressionist painter, Claude Monet. (B,L,D)
- DAY 4 ROUEN This morning, a walking tour shows you the highlights of the medieval town of Rouen, the “City of a Hundred Steeples.” Then, there is time to browse through the shops, looking for the perfect gifts to take back home. (B,L,D)
- DAY 5 PARIS As you cruise along the Seine this morning, enjoy an inspiring culinary demonstration by an expert chef. Arriving in Paris, there’s time for a stroll down the Champs Elysées after lunch. A shuttle bus will be available to take you between the city and your luxurious cruiser. (B,L,D)
- DAY 6 PARIS A morning city tour takes you along Paris’ Left Bank. See the Luxembourg Gardens, Notre Dame Cathedral and more. Afterward, you might want to go shopping in some of the boutiques or relax in a sidewalk café. This evening, celebrate the season with a Holiday Gala Dinner on board your ship. (B,L,D)
- DAY 7 PARIS Another day in the capital of style and romance. Savor a Holiday Brunch this morning, then your afternoon is free to explore the city on your own, do some last minute shopping, or just relax on board. Tonight, take a highlight drive through Paris, gloriously illuminated for the holidays. See Place Bastille, the Hotel de Ville, Rue de Rivoli, the Opéra, and Place Vendome. Then, stop at the Eiffel Tower for a glittering light show. (BR,D)
- DAY 8 PARIS Head out this morning to visit the magnificent Palace of Versailles. See the opulent rooms and the dazzling Hall of Mirrors. There is time to stroll in the manicured gardens before returning to the ship. Your afternoon is free. (B,L,D)
- DAY 9 DEPART PARIS Bid your crew and new friends adieu as you disembark and transfer to the airport for your return flight home. (B)
