Suites

The four small to mid-size luxury cruise ships in Regent Seven Seas Cruises' six-star fleet include: the newest all-suite, all-balcony Seven Seas Voyager, her sister ship the Seven Seas Mariner, the all-suite Seven Seas Navigator and the French Polynesian Paul Gauguin.

Seven Seas Voyager

Following closely in the wake of the Seven Seas Mariner, the new 700-guest Seven Seas Voyageris the world's second all-suite, all-balcony ship and the second to feature a restaurant operated by Le Cordon Bleu® of Paris. There are four main dining venues, surprising for a ship of her size. The Voyager also features some of the highest space and service ratios at sea, and her suites are the largest "lead-in" suites in the industry.

Suites

One of the most celebrated joys of cruising is enjoying the incredible panoramas of sea and Suite1sky that no land-locked vista could ever provide. As your ship approaches its next port of call and tiny specks of land begin to take shape on the horizon, the soft sea air fills your lungs with the invigorating breath of anticipation. There's simply no sensation like it!

On this all-suite, all-balconied ship, you don't have to go up on deck to enjoy this spectacular scenario. In fact, it's right outside the sweeping glass doors that open on to your private balcony. So if you are so inclined, you can sit back in your own lounge chair, sip a drink from your in-suite bar and watch the world go by right from your private indoor/outdoor living room.

What's more, this incomparable experience isn't limited to just a few of their most expensive suites. It's available to every single guest on the Voyager. And on this ship, you'll have so much private space to relax in, you may never want to leave your suite. Here are the actual statistics: The Voyager's accommodations range from 262 expansive Deluxe Suites, measuring 301 square feet (including balcony) to two enormous palazzo-sized, two-bedroom Master Suites of 1,580 square feet each (including balcony).

Suite2Whichever suite category you choose, you will find a private, light-filled environment that is unmatched for luxury and thoughtfully planned details. Every Voyager suite includes a walk-in closet big enough to change in with dozens of hangers and a private safe. A gleaming marble-lined bath with full-size tub and shower. A mini-bar pre-stocked with your favorite beverages. A bedroom (with twin beds or a European king-size bed) and a separate living room area tastefully furnished with a loveseat and comfortable armchairs with an adjustable table for dining in-suite. Convenient switches for directed lighting where you want it, when you want it. A television and video player. A private, teak-decked balcony with two plumply-cushioned lounge chairs and a side table. Seven Seas Navigator

The 33,000-ton, all-suite, 490-guest m/s Seven Seas Navigator debuted in Western Europe in September 1999. The vessel features 245 ocean view suites (90 percent with private balconies), plus fine dining options, generous space-per-guest ratios, impeccable service, luxurious amenities, a Judith Jackson Sea Spa and three email-ready computers for guests' use. Built with worldwide itineraries in mind, in January 2002, the Seven Seas Navigator set sail on her first World Cruise: a 105-night voyage from Los Angeles to Fort Lauderdale. The Navigator charts a course to some of the most legendary ports on our planet. They include destinations in Europe, Alaska, Central America, and the Panama Canal.

Suites

To be transported aboard the Seven Seas Navigator is to be bathed in an energizing elixir of elegance. Guests will experience body and soul-satisfying luxury in an atmosphere that seems almost effortlessly accomplished - tastefully expressed and eloquently articulated in a myriad of surprising ways.

Take, for example, their suites. The smallest is an extraordinarily generous 301 square feet while the largest measures an enormous 1,173 square feet including the balcony. Rich damasks and sumptuous silks in the shades of sand, terra-cotta and taupe surround you with eye-pleasing color and body-easing comfort. The soft fabrics are set off by furnishings in warmly finished woods and floors of intricately veined marbles. Each suite boasts a European King-size bed or twin beds, separate living room area, mini-bar stocked with select beverages, walk-in closet, TV/VCR, and bathroom with full tub and separate shower. All suites have sweeping ocean views and nearly 90% have private balconies. Ten suites are also interconnecting, which, when two are combined, offer a maximum of 1,529 square feet of living space. Your luxurious accommodations are typical of the expansive ambiance of the ship.

Paul Gauguin

The 19,200-ton m/s Paul Gauguin has offered year-round seven-night cruises in the pristine paradise of Tahiti and French Polynesia since January 1998 (and is the most elegant vessel to be based there year-round). Sailing every Saturday from Papeete (Tahiti), the ship visits Raiatea, Tahaa (for a call at RSSC's private islet of Motu Mahana), Bora Bora and Moorea. All staterooms feature ocean views (50 percent with private balconies). The ship has a casually elegant dress code suitable to the destination, as well as cuisine inspired by a two-star Michelin French chef, complimentary watersports and her own retractable marina.

Suites and Staterooms

Paul GauguinThere is an unmistakable joie de vivre aboard the Paul Gauguin, attributable in part to the extraordinarily vibrant landscapes through which they sail. But it also has to do with your personal space. To be one of just 320 guests aboard this elegant ship is to enjoy the ultimate luxury - privacy. There are no crowds. No endless announcements. No long lines.

The Paul Gauguin is ultra-deluxe in every respect. And the sense of spaciousness is no illusion - the ship has one of the highest space per guest ratios in cruising.

If genius is in the details, then staterooms are of a particularly inspired variety. All staterooms and suites have sweeping ocean views. Half offer private balconies or verandahs. Furniture and cabinetry feature rich pearwood, cherry and mahogany, flawlessly shaped and joined by skilled French cabinetmakers. A loveseat beckons you to sit for a while and gaze through your window, watch a recent release on your VCR or partake of the beverages stored in refrigerator/bar, cunningly hidden in a beautifully crafted marquetry cabinet.

Baths sparkle in gleaming chrome and white marble. A cotton bathrobe, hand milled soaps and toiletries await your pleasure. Fabrics and hangings are of the finest natural fibers, softly woven and sumptuous to the touch. In a mirrored niche, a stone Tiki stands over your private abode. And at night, a fragrant Tiare flower is placed on your pillow, its sweet scent wafting you to pleasant dreams. It is an environment calculated to soothe and satisfy body and soul.
