ALL-TRAVEL.com Appoints Three Top-Level VPs
Industry Veteran Hans Rood Joins Organization as Executive VP
Los Angeles, CA – September 21, 2005 – As part of a long-term growth strategy, ALL-TRAVEL.com, the leading provider of premium vacation and business travel services, has appointed three top-level executives to vice president positions. Hans Rood joins the ALL-TRAVEL organization as Executive Vice President; David Van Ness was promoted to Vice President of Marketing, and Laurie Sugita to Vice President of Technology.
“This is a very exciting time for us to position our team for future success,” said Eric Maryanov, president of ALL-TRAVEL.com since 1984. “ALL-TRAVEL has grown its vacation and corporate business through high touch, high service and strong web-based technology. With the solid background in travel sales, marketing and technology our team brings to the table, we will place further focus on generating new consumer interest and demand through our websites and traditional marketing prospects.”
A 20-year veteran in the travel industry with an all rounded background in travel sales and marketing, Rood will bring a vibrant scope in sales, supplier relations and marketing opportunities to the ALL-TRAVEL organization.
“Having worked with a large number of travel organizations, it was obvious that ALL-TRAVEL offers the service, technology and growth opportunity for providing travel products most effectively,” said Rood, who began his new position on September 6. “With a focus on premium and luxury travel product and the intent to further grow through a combination of web-based and highly personalized service in travel sales, ALL-TRAVEL clearly stands out as a leader in the travel agency community.”
As VP of Marketing, Van Ness will increase his already existing value to the overall marketing strategy and efforts of the agency and websites. Van Ness has been with ALL-TRAVEL.com for 15 years and is an instrumental force in guiding the direction of the agency’s online presence and positioning within the marketplace.
Operating behind the scenes at ALL-TRAVEL headquarters as a key player responsible for the computer and technology systems, Sugita brings critical expertise to her new role as VP of Technology. Also a longtime member of the ALL-TRAVEL team, she has successfully contributed to the growth of the organization by negotiating GDS contracts, analyzing and purchasing hardware, and developing technology strategies for increased productivity and client services.
“By promoting David and Laurie to VP level, it gives them authority to step out more autonomously and focus on specific vendor relationships and market segments,” said Maryanov. “The future looks very bright.”
