ALL-TRAVEL.com Confirms Travelers Prefer Booking with People
Survey Shows More than Half of U.S. Adults Want to Work with Travel Pros

Los Angeles, CA – July 12, 2005 – Save time. Avoid surprises. Book your next trip with the help of a trusted travel professional.

Nobody has enough free time, especially for vacation. So when the opportunity comes along to take a much-needed trip, the last thing you need is an unexpected glitch in your travel plans, say the experts at ALL-TRAVEL.com, the top provider of personalized travel services to the greater Los Angeles area.

So it comes as no surprise that a recent study by Galileo International, a leading global distribution system, found that 68% of U.S. adults prefer to use a travel agent to book their leisure travel arrangements. That’s seven out of 10 people.

“This is exactly why travel consultants exist,” said Eric Maryanov, founder and president of All-Travel.com, based on the Westside since 1984. “We help you plan the vacation you want and ensure it goes smoothly and hassle-free from boarding gate to luggage claim back at home.”

Even in these highly techno times with web-based options galore, a real human being with the expertise, know-how and accountability to get the job done right is still preferred over the Internet, according to the survey. This poll taken in June 2005, confirms what most of us already believe, people want to do business with people to confirm their choices and finalize travel plans. No matter where you’re going.

In the Galileo survey, travelers told pollsters what they liked most about working with a travel agent. Travelers said they are confident when travel agents ask questions to better understand their needs. They appreciate when the agent is flexible and willing to personalize itineraries based on those needs. And when it comes to complex travel plans that include multiple destinations, arrival and departure from different airports and special requests for amenities, travelers feel the job is best handled by a reliable agent.

“As a traditional travel firm with three locations plus a strong online presence we rely heavily on the Internet to introduce us to new potential clients. Going online is a great way to conduct research, explore new ideas and discover destinations never before considered, all at fingers’ distance,” explained Maryanov, whose website, http://www.all-travel.com/, has won several industry awards for content and usability. “What we find is that would-be vacationers still want to bring their Internet research to a destination expert for help determining the value of travel options, reviewing their selection and actually booking the trip.”

When it comes time to put money on the table, the survey confirms again that travelers want the expertise and accountability you get only when dealing with the human element – real-time people and an established travel agency.
