Holland America is folding free airfare from 11 Western cities into some of its Alaskan Explorer itineraries through the Inside Passage this summer, creating some attractive and unusual values during the 50th anniversary celebration of Alaska’s statehood.

The special promotion applies to select seven-day sailings from Seattle on ms Zaandam, ms Amsterdam and ms Westerdam from May 8 through Sept. 25. The Holland ships sail roundtrip from Seattle through the scenic Inside Passage past awe-inspiring highlights such as Glacier Bay National Park or the mighty Hubbard Glacier, the largest in North America. Port calls include Juneau, Sitka, Ketchikan and Victoria, B.C.
