What does this Honeymoon Bridal Registry provide?

We provide a service which allows you to register your entire honeymoon online. You also get a free wedding website, announcement cards, bridal shower games and gift cards! Through our preferred vendor, HoneywmoonWishes, your guests can give you portions of your honeymoon experience as a wedding gift. Instead of a "place setting for the table", you could receive a "couples massage" or help with an "upgrade to a honeymoon suite" as a wedding gift. There are no set up fees to use this honeymoon registry.

Why should we use a Honeymoon registry?

Why useUsing a honeymoon registry allows you to pre-plan what you want to do on your honeymoon vacation and is so much more personal than asking your guests for cash contributions. Guests will choose something special that they would like to give you as a gift. Unlike getting envelopes with checks in them at the wedding and then leaving the next day for your honeymoon trip, a honeymoon registry allows you to know ahead of time what you will have available for extras and upgrades. You can even register, get the word out early and have gift money come in to help with the initial costs of the honeymoon trip as many of our happy wedding couples have.

Is the honeymoon registry or wedding website hard to set up?

It is so easy to set up and takes about 15 minutes. We give you a list of honeymoon ideas you can choose from in any destination. You can pick the items you want or add anything we don't have with our "create your own wizard". No cookie cutter registry lists here! Each one is completely personalized by you and shows everything you want to do on your honeymoon.

What does a honeymoon registry look like?

We pride ourselves on having beautiful pictures and detailed descriptions of every item on the honeymoon registry. Your guests deserve to see what they are buying you and this makes the experience for them even more personal! You can view samples by clicking on the destinations under "sample registry".

How will I know how much to ask for?

When you set up your registry, we give you a suggested gift amount for each tour or activity per person in that area. However, you are free to ask for whatever you would like. We recommend using varied denominations to accommodate all guests and checking with our honeymoon specialists for exact pricing.

What if some of my wedding guests aren't computer friendly?

They can always fax or call in their order. HoneymoonWishes customer service representatives are always happy to help. Their phone number is found on every page of the site.

How much does it cost to use the honeymoon registry and wedding website?

We never charge a set up fee, and during the sign up process we are the only registry that allows you to choose whether you'd like the 7% service charge to be added or deducted from each gift amount. If a credit card is used to make a purchase, then a standard 3% credit card fee will be charged. (This fee goes directly to Electronic Merchant Systems not HoneymoonWishes and is for secure credit card processing for your guests.) The service charge covers your account management, your wedding web page, order processing, gift announcements, etc. This service eliminates other typical registry costs, such as shipping and gift-wrap charges. Announcement, shower games and gift cards are free, and can be downloaded at any time. The registry saves your guests time and gas with the comfort and convenience of purchasing their gift from their home or office. Also, there is no hassle or embarrassment of returning or exchanging unwanted gifts.

How do we notify our guests about this honeymoon registry and wedding website?

We provide downloadable announcements for your invitations at no charge to let your friends and family know about your honeymoon registry and wedding website under the link "let everyone know" Your bridal party and family are great ways to help your guests learn about your registry. Your Matron of Honor can include an announcement in the Bridal Shower invitations, and make sure your family knows how special this is to you, ask them if they would suggest the registry when guests ask what to get you. Get everyone involved and remember that your guests really want to get you something you truly want and will remember forever.

The wedding website we give you is a great way for everyone to keep up to date on all the details about your wedding and lets them feel a part of your special day. You can see a sample by clicking on the examples on the left. Letting everyone know is as easy as including your wedding website address on your announcements, direction cards, shower invitations or as a 'Save the Date' email or card.

How am I notified of a purchase?

You receive an email notice to view your custom Gift Card that is filled out by the gift giver. The Guest can also choose to print out this customized card to give to you personally. The guest receives an email confirmation as a receipt. You can log on to your account at anytime to view your wedding gifts, givers and the gift cards.

When will I receive my gifts?

If you use a PayPal account, you can collect your gifts anytime by emailing HoneymoonWishes. You can get a PayPal Account at www.paypal.com. If you choose to have a check mailed (at no charge), they will mail it 5 days before the wedding or upon request by you of an earlier date. You can also choose overnight delivery of the check (within USA). The overnight delivery charge is $21.00 and will be deducted from your total gift amount. Please email Accounting@HoneymoonWishes.com to request a check and to specify delivery method.

Will you send the gift money to my travel agent or a travel supplier?

No, all gift money will be sent direct to you at your contact address only. Remember, you can email us at anytime to collect funds.

What if one of the gifts uses a gift certificate? How do I know the difference?

Gifts using gift certificates are marked with a gold gift certificate button. For gifts where a Gift Certificate has been purchased, you will be emailed the Gift Certificate for you to print and bring with you on your trip. The Gift Certificate will be emailed to you at the time the purchase transaction takes place.

How long will my registry remain active?

Guests can view and give you a gift starting the first day you set up your Registry. Your registry will remain active 90 days after your wedding.

What if we don't know where we are going but want to use a registry to start receiving gift money for the trip?

If you have not booked your trip yet and are not sure where you are going we suggest setting up as 'Undecided' or "It’s a Surprise!" you can email us at any time to change this to the specific location you choose to take your honeymoon. You can still list your wishes in a general way while you are planning.

Can I use this registry if I am not from the US?

Yes absolutely! All amounts will remain listed in US$. We ask that you use a PayPal account so that we can send you money in a timely manner. Paypal does have currency conversion please see www.PayPal.com for all details.

What happens if we decided to change the location of our honeymoon?

No problem, if you have already selected a place and have to change the location just contact us at support@honeymoonwishes.com or by phone at (858) 433-1506. We can help you adjust your list as needed.

Can I change/add items to my registry list after I’ve posted it?

Yes, anytime. You just log in and go to "edit registry" to add more items. To edit any other personal information, just email us so we can change all of your files.

What happens if my wedding is cancelled or postponed?

If your wedding is postponed, just log into your account and revise your wedding date. If your wedding is cancelled, we will be more than happy to reverse the charges from each of your non-vendor, guest purchases at no cost to you. However, if the cash payments for your gifts have already been wired to your bank account, it is up to you to return any gifts to your friends and family.

Do you sell my or my guests information?

Absolutely not! All information is kept confidential. We do not store any credit card information, in fact - their own staff can't see it.

Who manages this honeymoon registry site? Are you a secure company?

Honeymoon Wishes provides all support and software for this registry and has served over 5000 wedding couples since 2003. What is the Honeymoon Registry?

We give Wedding couples a way to register their entire honeymoon online. It works just like a Gift registry - your Bride and Groom wanted to have parts of their honeymoon experience as a wedding gift. Instead of buying them a crock-pot, you can choose a 'Sunset Cruise' or instead of a toaster oven, you can give them part of their 'All Inclusive Trip'. The wedding couple has listed their 'Honeymoon Wishes' and costs of each experience for their friends and family to purchase as a wedding gift.

Why should we give something from this registry?

The wedding couple has decided to use this registry so that they can pre-plan what they will be able to do on their honeymoon. They have chosen to use the registry so that they know ahead of time how much they can spend on their trip and contact the organizers to book the things they would like to do. It is important to them to be able to book that Hot Air Balloon Ride or upgrade to their dream honeymoon suite before they leave.

Will I be able to send the Wedding Couple a gift card?

Yes, after your purchase, you will be able to customize a gift card that can be sent to the Bride and Groom. You can also print out your giftcard to take to the wedding.


How much is needed for the whole gift? (is it for one or two people?)

The amount needed for the whole gift (whether it is for 1 or 2 people,) is the amount "Wished For" times the "Each gift" amount.

Example: "Upgrading the room" lists 10 gifts wished for of $50.00 each that means the whole upgrade will cost $500.00. However the couple does not expect anyone to buy them a gift for $500.00 and feels more comfortable breaking it down into $50.00 increments. The couple wants to upgrade anyway, and feel that any part of the upgrade given to them would be a wonderful gift and this allows them to plan ahead. The still needed category means this amount is still available to purchase.

Why not just give them money at the wedding?

Getting envelopes of checks the day before they leave for their honeymoon won't allow them to pre-plan anything for their trip. They probably won't even have time to deposit the checks before they leave. Our services allow the bride and groom to pre-book what activities they will be able to do on their honeymoon and have an accurate accounting of all gifts received. This service allows you to give something that the bride and groom really want and will cherish forever - Be remembered for taking this time to pick a personalized experience!

Do I have to be "technically savvy" to use this site?

We will guide you through each step- it's easy! And don't worry, you can call, mail or fax in your order too.

What is the service fee for?

This processing fee allows HoneymoonWishes to run the registry website, keep a complete accounting for the couple, host their wedding website, process gift certificates - and most importantly, this keeps it free for the bride and groom - after all this is their day! The service fee eliminates other typical registry costs, such as shipping and gift-wrap charges. In addition, announcement and gift cards are free, and can be downloaded at any time. We understand that your time is valuable. The honeymoon bridal registry saves you time with the comfort and convenience of purchasing a gift from your home or office. Also, there is no hassle of returning or exchanging unwanted gifts. We ensure that the couple has the freedom to choose how they will use their gifts on their honeymoon.

How do I find a couple's Bridal Registry list?

Click here and enter the Bride or Groom's last name in the search field and click the "Search" button. Enter as much information as you know, and the system will present you with the closest matches. If you need assistance email us or call one of our honeymoon specialists.

How do I buy the couple a gift?

First, look through the list of gifts the couple has registered for. Once you decide which gifts to purchase for the couple, follow the simple check out procedure. The couple will receive a gift certificate or in some instances if we do not have a gift certificate relationship set up with the provider that the couple has listed, funds for that gift will be sent to the couple who will be able to make the arrangements prior to their wedding date. This allows them to pre-book what activities they will be able to do on their honeymoon and have an accurate accounting of all gifts received.

Where does the money go?

The money goes into a holding account at Merrill Lynch, the credit card fees go to the Merchant Account, and only the processing fees go into HoneymoonWishes general account. The Bride and Groom can collect their money at any time through PayPal by logging into registry account.

What if one of the gifts uses a gift certificate? How do I know the difference?

Gifts using gift certificates are marked with a gold gift certificate button. The gift certificate will be emailed to the couple at the time of purchase.

Is the site secure?

HoneymoonWishes is a GeoTrust secured site to ensure you feel confident when using your Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. They also have a Turbo SSL certificate from GoDaddy.com that tests them daily.

Do you store my personal or credit card information?

No they do not have access to your credit card info after the purchase. Their own staff cannot see your credit card information. They do not store or sell your personal information.

Can I call or fax my order in?

Yes, just print out the purchase form, fill it in, and fax it with the summary of your order to 858-433-0500, we will call you once we receive it. If you would like to call in your order, just call 858-433-1506.

How do I get my receipt?

After your purchase is completed, you will be emailed a receipt.

Do the Bride and Groom have a way to see what I have purchased in case they lose my card?

Yes, part of the service to the Couple is to provide them with their own account. They can log in at anytime and view the wedding gifts they have received.

Are you a real company?
