Aberdares – The Aberdares is the established name of a mountain range which thrusts directly north from Nairobi for more than 100 miles. Part of the range is protected as the Aberdare National Park, awesome in its majesty and beauty with an unimaginable abundance of wildlife worth visiting. The highest point of the range is Ol Doinyo Satima at over 13,000 feet. At its maximum elevation, about 11,000 feet, strange 20-feet tall mutants of alpine plants grow in profusion. Icy rivers plunge in glorious cascades and spectacular waterfalls. The Salient thrusts a dense forest through rich farmland and is where both Treetops and the Ark are situated.

Amboseli – Amboseli National Park, at the foot of Africa's highest mountain, Kilimanjaro, is one of Kenya's most popular parks. The snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro rising above a saucer of clouds dominates every aspect of Amboseli. Despite its small size and fragile ecosystem it supports a wide range of mammals and birds. The snows of Kilimanjaro, white and crystalline, form a majestic backdrop to one of Kenya's most spectacular displays of wildlife - lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, cheetah, buffalo and hosts of plains' game, creating Kenya's most sought after photographer's paradise. The Park's best game runs are around swamps and there is a fine lookout on Observation Hill which offers views over the whole of the Park and beyond.

Laikipia Plateau – Laikipia lies on the threshold of Kenya’s Northern Frontier Province, stretching from the slopes of Mt. Kenya to the rim of the Great Rift Valley. The Laikipia Plateau is divided into a patchwork of enormous ranches, many of which in the early 1990's, turned from farming to wildlife and formed the Laikipia Wildlife Forum. Together they have created an enormous wildlife stronghold which contains some of Kenya's most endangered animals. It is one of the last refuges for the endangered Black Rhino and has the largest elephant population outside of Kenya's national parks and reserves.

Maasai Mara – The Maasai Mara is Kenya's finest and most outstanding wildlife sanctuary where gentle rolling grassland ensures animals are never out of sight. The climate is gentle, and the sensation of the great wildebeest migration between July and October is unparalleled. The wildlife is far from being confined within the Reserve boundaries and an even larger area extends beyond the game Reserve. Centuries of close association with the wildlife has resulted in an almost symbiotic relationship where wildlife and Maasai people live in peace with one another. The combination of a gentle climate, scenic splendor and untold numbers of wildlife makes this wildlife marvel Kenya's most popular inland destination.

Mombasa – Mombasa, also called Gateway to Kenya, is the country’s most historic city and largest port on Africa’s Coral Coast. Today impressive Fort Jesus still dominates the entrance to the old harbor and serves as a museum about Mombasa’s colorful past. The most exotic part of Mombasa is Old Town. Here, narrow alleys lined by mosques and cramped old houses slope down to bustling dhow harbor where pier vendors offer arts and crafts. Local cuisine includes spicy stews and game such as eland, gazelle and impala. Old Dhow Harbor is where traditional boats (dhows) load and unload goods from faraway places and nearby islands. There is also Nyali Resort Area, a coastal stretch with white sand beaches and hotels offering resort facilities, Mamba Village, a crocodile farm where more than 10,000 crocodiles live in their natural habitat, and Shimba Hills National Reserve, Kenya’s most underrated wildlife refuge.

Mt. Kenya – An extinct volcano, Mount Kenya, is Africa's second highest mountain. These peaks are permanently iced with snow and glaciers, while on the upper slopes the combination of altitude and position astride the equator results in forms of vegetation that only exist here and at a few other lofty points in East Africa. Mount Kenya is unexpectedly different and, unless your time is very limited, too good to miss.

Nairobi – Nairobi is Kenya’s capital and one of Africa’s most modern and fastest growing major cities. The original center retains Asian influence in its older buildings with glassy modern buildings. Visit City Market with local produce and handicrafts. Other attractions are: National Museum, displaying ethnographic, paleontological and ornithological exhibits; the Arboretum, with an excellent collection of East African flora; the University, known for its unique architecture; the excellent Kenya Railway Museum; and Nairobi’s landmark, the extraordinary Kenyatta Conference Center, the country’s most monumental building. There are casinos at Safari Park Hotel and Inter-Continental, and there’s Sunday-afternoon horse-racing. Visit Karen Blixen Museum, where some action of the book and film Out of Africa took place. Beautiful forested Ngong Hills is a spiritual place for the Masai and excellent area for hiking and enjoying views of Nairobi and the Rift Valley.

Ol Pejeta – Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a 90,000 acre wildlife reserve situated between the foot hills of the Aberdares and the magnificent snowcapped Mount Kenya. It boasts an astounding variety of animals including the non-indigenous chimpanzees and the big 5 (the endangered black rhino, leopard, elephant, buffalo and lion). The combination of amazing wildlife and stunning views across the open plains of Ol Pejeta guarantees an unforgettable safari experience.

Samburu National Reserve – Samburu National Reserve is not very well-known, but definitely worth a visit. It is situated on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River in Kenya, which means plenty of water, trees and shade to attract wildlife like elephant, lion, giraffe, leopards, and zebra from the surrounding savannah plains. It is often grouped together with the Buffalo Springs and Shaba National Reserves as they lie so close together.

Sweetwaters – This 24-000 acre reserve enjoys magnificent views across plains to snow-capped peaks of Mount Kenya, and has abundant wildlife and tropical vegetation. Sweetwaters Game Reserve and Chimpanzee Sanctuary is the closest reserve to Kenya's capital Nairobi to boast all "Big 5" game - Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Elephant and Buffalo. The reserve is easily accessible and has the highest ratio of game-to-geographical-area of all parks and reserves in Kenya. Guests can enjoy special activities not permitted in most Kenyan National Parks such as game walks, night game drives, horseback game rides through the African bush and meals in the bush. A new addition is the multi-cultural Manyatta situated just outside the Serat Gate of the reserve, where clients can visit some of Kenya's tribes in their own environment.

Tsavo National Park – One of East Africa’s main wildlife strongholds, the Tsavo National Park is Kenya’s largest national park, covering an area of 8,034 square miles; an area slightly bigger than Wales! This vast arid region lies approximately half-way between Nairobi and the Indian Ocean, with the Nairobi-Mombasa road and railway dividing the park, from north-west to south-east, into two main sections.
