The River Victoria has been completely renovated and reconstructed for the 2011 sailing season. The elegant décor and amenities have been hand-selected by the Red Carnation Hotel design team to provide our guests with the most pleasant and comfortable experience possible while sailing the Volga River.

Danube River Cruise - 11/2010
Phenomenal experience!
My very first River Cruise and I loved it. We sailed up the Danube from Budapest, Hungary to Passau, Germany. I loved the attention to detail. The ship was spotless at all times. The staff was the friendliest that I have ever encountered. The included shore excursions made the trip! I loved that you had options for additional excursions or you could tour around on your own. When you returned to the ship after an excursion, there were often hot towels and warm tea or juice waiting to be served to you. It was such an elegant touch. Wine each night with dinner was free flowing. It was such a wonderful experience. The waiters were so attentive and learned you by name in many cases. In some ports of call they brought in experts on the region. They may have been musicians or they may have been an area expert to talk to you about the culture. It was just magnificent. Captain Tom and all of his staff were wonderful. They even had a BUTLER! Valentin, the butler was such a nice man and all the women were in love with him. They offered massages and even had internet if you needed to email. It was a great experience, that I hope to do again soon!
Pros: Everything was wonderful
Cons: One week was not enough.
