The MS SWISS PEARL has been one of Europe’s most beautiful river cruise ships since 1993 and has recently started her new journey on the Rhône and Saône rivers in France. With her luxurious decor and amenities, your cruise experience will be a treasured one.
Overview
Dining & Cuisine
Swiss Pearl's elegant yet inviting restaurant features warm woods gleaming fixtures and panoramic windows for enjoying river views. Guests enjoy a single open seating for dinner, while breakfast and lunch feature generous buffets as well as a choice of items from the menu.
The ships culinary staff offers sophisticated menus comprised of wonderful soups, fresh produce, high quality choice cut meats, and fresh fish and seafood. Start your day with a lavish gourmet champagne breakfast buffet. Choose from a rich assortment of breads, croissants and pastries, a variety of fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, and smoked salmon. Sample the regions delicious cheeses, as well as assorted cold cuts and local sausages. An array of traditional breakfast items is also available from the menu.
Return from your shore excursion to a delicious lunch. Start with mouth-watering hot or cold appetizers, homemade soups, then choose from a selection of great entrees and finish off with a delectable dessert.
In the evening, be our honored guest for an elegant dinner. Enjoy delicious cuisine and complimentary free-flowing wine, beer and soft drinks. It all adds up to a truly memorable dining experience.
Features & Amenities
One of Europes most beautiful river cruise ships, the Swiss Peark provides the perfect backdrop for your Provencal sojourn. Marvel at the views of the Rhone River as you relax in the Sun Deck whirlpool or share a drink with friends in the elegant Panoramic Lounge and bar. Staterooms are 140 square feet, and feature a TV, mini bar, safe and hairdryer for your convenience. The 205 square-foot Junior Suites are extra spacious and feature a sitting area and luxurious bathroom. Additional accommodations include a Triple stateroom, at 180-square-feet, plus a Single stateroom, at 115 square feet. On board Swiss Pearl, you will also find a fitness room, indoor swimming pool, sauna and library for your added enjoyment. In the dining room, enjoy delectable cuisine influenced by the famous locations along your itinerary, accompanied by free-flowing wines from Frances great wine regions.

With Amawaterways, complimentary shore excursions are included in every port. Upon disembarking, youll separate into a small group so our Local Guides can shape the excursion according to your expectations and interests. We will always offer a Gentle Walkers group, for those whod like to explore at a more leisurely pace. Wherever possible, we will also offer an Active Walkers group, for those interested in covering more ground, and a Late Starter group for those who prefer to sleep in. Whichever group you join, your experience will be enhanced with the use of our complimentary headset system. These state-of-the art devices allow you to hear the audio transmissions from our guides, without the need to huddle together in a group. It provides maximum flexibility and convenience so that you can truly explore at your own pace!
