Club Med Fitness™
In the open air, in the water, in a gym or facing the sea, in almost all of the Villages, step, muscle toning, cardio-training or stretching are on the menu. Get moving with Club Med fitness !
For beginners, Club Med fitness works around 3 themes:
> gentle keep fit sessions (stretching, relaxation or warm-up sessions)
> muscle strengthening or aerobics (body sculpt, step...)
> aquafitness
At all levels, Club Med fitness introduces you to BodyPump® and BodyCombat® (tuition 6 days a week). These techniques are imported from the famous Les Mills Academy, which trained and coached Club Med G.Os, but the classics are not forgotten, with gentle keep fit (stretching, relaxation or muscle toning), aquafitness and depending on the Villages, lessons in Steps and Low Impact Aerobics.

Golf
5 minutes from Village, the Punta Cana Golf Club welcomes you to its 2 courses with 9 and 18 holes (Par 72). Along the sea, discover this magnificent course open to players with a handicap or index.
NB: access to certain golf courses is subject to etiquette rules and in some cases a handicap / index, for example, golf shoes with soft spikes, swimwear or jeans not permitted. Ask for details at the Excursions Office upon arrival at the Village.
ATP/Club Med Tennis Camp
Play like a pro at Club Med’s amazing ATP tennis facilities, available in each village in the U.S., Bahamas, Caribbean and Mexico. The ATP/Club Med Tennis camps in Punta Cana, Sandpiper and Columbus Isle offer intensive 3-day instructional programs developed by the ATP exclusively for Club Med. The program caters to intermediate and advanced players with drills and playtime in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Small groups of six are organized for individual attention. The Club Med staff and ATP Tennis Camp cover all aspects of the game, including strategy, and offers a perfect combination of professional tennis training and social atmosphere. Book ATP tennis camp at time of reservation and receive an official ATP polo shirt and hat. Sun.-Tues. and Wed.- Fri., 3 hrs. per day for 3 days.
Level 1- Intermediate
Day 1: Forehand drive, short ball put away, backhand ground stroke, volley, smash
Day 2: Approach shot: forehand & backhand slice, topspin lob, drop shot
Day 3: Serve, return of serve, doubles play strategy
Level 2 - Advanced
Day 1: Generating power: linear, rotational and vertical, passing shots: down the line cross court, angled and short, taking the net, topspin lob
Day 2: Drop shot, drop volley, chase the drop shot, lob volley, angled volley
Day 3: Slice serve, return of serve: cross court low, down the line, lob, overhead smash
