We had a fabulous time on Silversea’s Silver Wind
Dear Vicki,
Paula and I just returned from our Silversea cruise to the Eastern Mediterranean. We had a fabulous time on the Silver Wind—good company, tasty food, terrific land excursions, calm seas, and fine weather. We would find it hard to travel on a lesser cruise line, I fear.
Thank you for all your arrangements; there were no glitches. The only thing I would do differently is plan for longer layovers at the airport. We almost missed our connection in Paris on the way home because the time was short between flights and the French were in no hurry to stamp travelers' passports. Fortunately we speak French, and an official moved us to the front of the queue (to the dismay of those waiting). Below are a few photos from our trip.
We hope to take another Silversea cruise in 2013 after I retire, so I'll be in touch.

I’ve sailed on Carnival, Holland America, Princess, Celebrity, Regent, SilverSea and specialize in Cruises, River Cruises, Europe and Alaska, with certifications from Hawaii, Kenya, Crystal, and Holland. I love this industry because there is no other job which lets you live out your dreams and help others with theirs.
