Lila,
We had a fabulous time. The first four days were picture perfect. We did go to the beach set of LOST but they were not filming that day. What a beautiful area and thank you for making our trip just that much more special. I booked the Whale Watch and Creation Dinner Show. I would recommend the Creation Dinner Show at the Princess Sheraton, the buffet was delicious with all you could eat prime rib, adobo chicken, Kailua pork, or fresh fish selections. Doloris helped herself to several jewelry selections at Maui Divers and I started it out with a beautiful gold chain necklace for Valentines Day.
Lila, I have valued our shared interests and love for Hawaii. You have been the best travel agent and friend when it comes to booking all my trips to Hawaii. I almost forgot to tell you, I did visit the Side Street Café in Honolulu and it was great. The locals were very friendly and we enjoyed the fresh fish and side dishes they had on the menu. I was not surprised that a lot of their selections had spam involved and I did enjoy every dish I had. I actually did make out better though at Moose Magillicuttys in downtown Waikiki Beach. They have daily specials such as Friday all you could eat fish and chips for $10.95 a person. We also found coupons for Moose on a two for one breakfast ....anything on the menu. I had the Hearty Hawaiian for $7.15 plus coffee. I would be hard pressed to find a better deal here at that price. We did have some rain on Thursday that dampened outside activities for a while but I had the car . We spent most of the day at Hilo Hattie’s and then took off to the North Shore area and stopped at the Dole Plantation gift shops. The wind hit us on Friday and Saturday with 30 to 50 mph gusts that were unusual but we made the best of it . All in all we had a great trip and it was especially hard to say goodbye this time.
Thanks again Lila for all your help and I will get back to you when I get my tax refund.
Sincerely,
James P.
