Vicki, Thanks for Securing my Upper Class Seat on Virgin!
Dear Vicki,
Where do I begin... Thank you very much for your persistence in securing the Upper Class Virgin seat. Check in was very smooth and the staff was very attentive at moving the process through quickly. The Virgin Lounge at Heathrow was magnificent. The Lounge was very large with various sections...a dining room, game room, TV area, a computer room/library, garden terrace and many sitting areas. The servers were quick with orders from the bar and kitchen...did not have to pay for anything in the Lounge.
The flight staff was extremely attentive to every passengers' needs. At the beginning of the flight, I began to suffer from severe sinus congestion and the steward gave me a menthol product to administer to hot wet cloths creating a hot compact. It was a tremendous help...a few minutes later my sinus pressure was relieved. The staff gave everyone the option to have their lunch when they were ready, instead of requesting all Upper class passengers to participate in lunch at a specific time. It was a surprise to see a bar in the Upper class section, which passengers enjoyed. We decided that we had to have a drink at the bar flying at 30,000 some odd feet. The flight staff explained how to convert the seat into a flat bed. Overall, the staff was very friendly and willing to accommodate any needs. I would encourage any of the Travel Agents to sell Virgin Atlantic to Europe/UK as a courier for high end leisure or corporate clients. I would definitely fly Upper Class again. Thank you again for all your work in making this happen!
