Turkey & Greece Trip with Insight Vacations
Hi Alice,
I am back from my vacation and slowly getting back into the groove of things. The trip was amazing and the water was truly unbelievable; so turquoise and clear! Made a lot of new friends and met a lot of wonderful people!
The ship was great! For being an older ship it was extremely well taken care of (they could use new towels though), which was nice to see.....the crew as wonderful and very nice as well! The tour guides were very nice and very accommodating. The one complaint that I do have and was voiced by everyone else on the tour as well was the fact that the optional tours were very expensive and not included. If you did not do the optional tours, you would not be doing anything and you would not be able to see the country or the islands! With the optional tours, I paid out another $1,000 (and I did not do them all), so this was a little upsetting! I definitely will be watching that in the future tours. I would rather pay up front and have it included then find out when you get there that if you don’t choose to do the optional, you basically will see or do nothing!
But as I said the trip was truly amazing. Greece is beautiful and the memories will always be special!
