Scandinavia Trip With Insight Vacations Was Excellent!

The trip was excellent as were the tour director and tour driver. Most of the travelers in the group with which I traveled were from Australia or New Zealand. For the most part they were congenial, interesting and experienced travelers.
There was another Insight Vacation group traveling the same route at the same time. I was interested to learn that some travelers in each group were very surprised when they found themselves traveling under Insight's logo because they'd believed that they'd booked with another tour company. One name I heard was Grand European.
I was not the only traveler that Insight booked on flights arriving in Copenhagen at a time that Insight knew it would not be providing transportation from the airport to the hotel. The driver that was supposed to meet me did not. An airport security officer helped me check on that. The tour director refunded the cost of the taxi.
Lessons Learned: (1) Use a good travel agent when booking a tour regardless of the reputation of the tour company. (2) Ask questions. (3) Read every document you receive and compare the information. (4) If you have access to it, use the Internet to research currency, culture/customs, local prices and availability of foods, and health issues.
