Club Med - Punta Cana

Recently my husband and I took advantage of pre-viewing the “New” Club Med in Punta Cana.  This was my first visit to a Club Med and I was very impressed.  I loved the warmth of the staff and GO’s (Gentle Organizers) as we entered the facility.  Speaking of the GO’s that are on premises, what a good group of people…they have the ability to relate to every guest at every age and immerse themselves into everyone’s vacation.  Whatever our needs, they were more than accommodating…they are amazing!

I selected to complete my review pertaining to the facility & grounds itself.  This resort is located on the most pristine beaches of the Dominican Republic.  This is a newly renovated resort with a long private beach bordered by palm trees.  The grounds are meticulously groomed with activities for all to enjoy.  There is a Circus School for the little ones and a flying trapeze if you dare!  Near the beach they have a special morning area for fitness and yoga classes.  The beach itself is breathtaking and is best described in actual pictures which really don’t even bring out all of the beauty of this Caribbean haven.

The children’s area of the Petite Club and Mini Club are a child’s playground with learning and activities to stimulate the imagination and bring out the child’s potential.  From the water pool and slides, to the Circus School as I mentioned before, the children have the ability to come out of their shells (if they have one) and really partake in the activities at Club Med.  If they cry when you come to get them nightly, you’ll know why….they are having way too much fun!

Both clubs are clean, well groomed, organized and have fun written everywhere!  My biggest thing as a parent, is to know that where my kids will be playing is well supervised, clean and a safe environment.  Club Med and their GO’s go the extra mile in ensuring this happens.  The club is closed every Saturday (in Punta Cana) for extensive cleaning to maintain this safe and healthy environment.

This is really a perfect family fun vacation.  Even if you’re traveling single, as a couple or family….Club Med Punta Cana has something for everyone!
