Hand-Feeding Koalas & Kangaroos on a Silversea Shore Excursion
By Ralph Grizzle, Avid Cruiser
An incredible start to our full-day tour in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. After a 30-minute transfer from Silver Shadow, docked in Hobart, a dozen or so of us stood feeding kangaroos and koalas at the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary. For many, the 1.5-hour visit here has been the highlight of a trip filled with highlights. We not only got to feed these adorable creatures but also saw Tasmanian Devils, lots of them, in this open wildlife park.
