Canada & New England Adventures on Holland America Cruise Line’s ms Maasdam

We really enjoyed the Maasdam cruise to Eastern Canada. We had never seen that part of Canada and really liked the shore tours we arranged at the different ports. Prince Edw
ard Island was the best. It was also great to see Quebec and Montreal and their history. Halifax was also really interesting to see. Bar Harbor and Sydney were only so/so. The staff on the ship were very accommodating and helpful. I guess the main negative we had was the poor quality of the food. The breakfasts were fine and the lunches when we were on board were OK, but the dinners were all poor except for one. We thought our cabin was very nice with the veranda and had plenty of room. The ship staff seemed to be very organized as to how we left and returned to the ship, particularly embarkation in Boston and getting off in Montreal. Overall we enjoyed the trip and all that we saw. The colors were just starting to turn. Thanks for your help in getting everything set up for us. You were very organized, which is something I really appreciate.
